hey, after gobuster, the complete borefest of kyoryuger was just not my thing. bland villians, horrible sentai cast. it was just bad all around, the only thing good was the suit and mecha design, which didn't help when "king" was a completely annoying and unlikeable character

You and I have different ideas of boring there, Dai :lol Kyoryuger is my absolute favorite Sentai. Yes, more than Goseiger. It's funny, it has heart, it has Nossan, it has Candelira. It has Candelira!

What exactly of the facts that you know is THAT disappointing?

We don't know how the suits will look, the plot of why they do what they do, the villains, the characters or what later mecha will bring. I'm kind of open minded, I've got a simple wish list, I know it's unlikely but it would be nice.

1. Auxiliary mecha that enhance the main mech, like armour parts.
2. A human face among the villains. Maybe humans working for monsters.
3. A sense of peril. No 'we're brave' crap, make it a struggle.
4. Red doesn't such a show off caricature. Make it a heroes journey we believe in.
5. Each member gets at least 2 mechs each.
6. The toyline doesn't use those snapping clips. At all.
7. The helmets all have some kind of train driver aesthetic, I want sentai in flat caps.
8. At least on flying train. I miss Travellion

As for the team, I would love to see something like Go-Onger. Where there are three or four separate teams/mechs and then they can all combine.

Well GoGo five sounds right, and i know that Zyuranger were Tyranoranger, Pteraranger, Dragonranger etc so it's not unprecidented.

I'm looking forward to a train themed sentai, I just hope that they do a mecha based off a UK locomotive, since patents on UK steam locomotives are long dead it would be fun to see maybe a mecha based on an A4 like Mallard or an A3 like Flying Scotsman.

I found Enter from Gobusters uninteresting FWITW, he was part of the reason I never really got into Gobusters.

Bloody loving Kyoryuger though.

I'm hoping the Megazord will be like Turbo Rescue Megazord, where each zord has a vehicle mode and a humanoid (or alt) mode. I think if they only had train modes that it would severely limit their usefulness in battle.

I am seriously getting hyped for this series. Give me trains.:D

This sounds like it has a lot of potential- I really don't understand how people are already saying it's going to be dull and boring.
Might be a bit of a reach, but it would be really cool if the mecha, in train mode, could be made compatible with tracks from a given model train scale. Still functional on their own, but also able to run along an appropriately sized track.

Travellion = Cool
Palomax Megazord = Freaking Cool
Gosei Snake Train = Cool Enough
That train megazord = Also freaking cool.

I'm sorry but so far i think train mecha's are pretty cool so this could be interesting.

As an avid train enthusiast as well as PR/SS fan, I think this this may be the time I finally take the plunge into the Super Sentai toy line after I've been teetering on it for 4+ years. SO HYPED!

Trust me, once you go Sentai, it's difficult to look at Power Rangers the same way. (BUT I TRY!)

Unless Saban decides to give us a wonderful season like RPM, Dino Thunder, RPM.. Jungle Fury. You know what? Unless Saban decides to be Disney, basically.

But yeah, pretty much. Disney was the best thing to happen to Power Rangers (from a story/budget perspective), yet for some odd reason PR is more popular when Saban is at the helm.
Disney Marketing has never been great when it comes to anything live action unless Johnny Depp or Tim Burton are involved so I don't blame them for squandering the potential of the Rangers.

I don't plan on giving up my love for Power Rangers any time soon.

Oh, the Marketing was GODAWEFUL. You couldn't find the toys anywhere unless you lived in a major market somewhere, because they swore the toys didn't sell. Yea they dont sell if you dont sell them!
But more often than not we got direct imports of Megazords, which was nice.
The seasons themselves were just better. More story driven. More original stories and not straight adaptations, and they only gave us an universally reviled and unwatchable season once. Which isn't a bad track record.

There was Rosie who was pink and Mollie was yellow, neither are numbered though.
