That's still a problem. It makes the powers of the character more valuable than the character themselves.

Power swapping ... sounds fairly like another recent sentai. And that didn't totally suck.

These toys are a little, eh. I have more hope for the show. There's no reason this gimmick can't be done justice, it all depends on the writer.

Well considering Marvelous had the power to swap into any colour in all of sentai history, he could have easily been a one man sentai but it turned out fairly well.
I say we just wait and see how the gimmick is used before we start judging it.

The mecha I have to get and the toys because if I remember correctly, the PR contract is 'till 2016. In the latest this show would be adapted in 2017, unless the contract is extended, so I would get these now just in case you know?

I'll honestly just pick up the mecha out of the bunch. But wait till it pops up cheap on Mandarake.

The auxiliary DX Reshas are actually a pretty great deal at $25.

I can see why they're 25 each.They don't seem to be that big or have a special gimmick,just trains that become gloves.

So damn UGLY! They were on stride for improvements in design on the past few Mecha, but this just looks like a horrible knock off for three year olds. I dont think this will do well state side.

Well at least we know BoA's versions can't get any worse.

And to be honest, I think these toys are meant for three year olds, as Super Sentai has been increasingly recently.

I think I'll wait for CSToys or some other online retailer that others use.

I, like many others, hound Mandarake a day or two after release for damaged boxes, etc.

Still tempted to go DX for this line, but I can wait.

So, does each ranger have five ressha? I was under the impression that they were swapping with the other rangers, not that there were multiples of each like the beast batteries.

I can see your point, but I'm still not sold on the idea. To me, each ranger should have unique powers and things that only they can contribute to the team. As someone else mentioned, why is the team necessary if Red could do everything on his own? I guess Gokaiger kinda did the same thing, but this is a bit more extreme when there are only five powers to begin with. At least in Gokaiger each ranger typically stuck with their corresponding power from the team they transformed into (blue would become blue; most times)...with Tokkyuger, you have everyone becoming everyone. Teamwork is a major theme throughout Sentai and, to me, this waters that down.
