Probably my favorite Gokai Machine. I love it's dual modes.

Definitely the best Gokai Machine. Shinken Gokai-Oh was the best version of Gokai-Oh and you've gotta love any mech that randomly meows.

Okay, that's about as flawless a combination that I've yet seen. It's an absolute marvel of engineering.

And it looks awesome, so yeah.

Gao Lion is by far my favorite thing from the line outside of Machalcon.

Now if only Machalcon didn't cost an arm and a leg...

This is probably the one that got the worst off from the BOA veraion we are getting, I'd probably display him like this if I had him, not so sure I'll display him like this with the BOA version though.

Cool looking lion, and has the best looking combination with the Megazord. I think the BoA version pulls of the look well enough, but that's probably just me...

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I mean, it does look pretty cool, but there's something off-putting about it.

I like the way it looks, in lion mode. Not so much the other modes. Never owned it, but I would say it has a lot of play value with it's different modes. Also kool how there are a bunch of pieces that can form Gao Lion.

Definitely the most well done of the Gokai Machines IMO.

A great way to fit in two homages, and the gimmick was well implemented here.

The Lion looks cool, for some reason it reminds me a little of when the Dairangers would combine to attack like some helicopter thing.

The lion and centaur modes look a lot better than the BoA one, but Shinken GokaiOh is just... enh.

It's those arms, they're a mess.

Love it. I only have the minipla but still my favourite Gokaioh combination (despite it removing the yellow and pink machines from the combination).

Man, I don't know why, but the more I see of the Gokai-Oh toy and its Gokai Machines, the less I want them, and the more I'm leaning towards Super Megaforce.

Love the fact that this pulls off 2 homages to previous sentai...plus lion-centaur mode...yes please!

Did anyone else appreciate the fact that they bothered to put SKATES on this thing? I mean it's not that anyone will have them flipped out often, but geez, SKATES!

The actual GaoLion is absolutely gorgeous, but I just don't think the Shinken GokaiOh mode translates to a toy very well. Even the show cheated on how ridiculous boxy the thing becomes.

Still, it's a very nice piece regardless!

This looks like it could hang with Lio Convoy anytime.

Gotta love the Centaur mode since you can tell the Lion can handle Gokai-Oh lol.

I'm glad they kept relatively all the functionality of GaoLion and transferred it to the BoA version..just it's a little smaller :P

Only thing I don't like about this guy is that if you have to remove Pink and Yellow for the Shinkenger mode. Kinda wish they attached some way rather then making the entire legs.

Man seeing all these pictures and with the arrival of Super Megaforce, it really makes me want to watch Gokaiger again.

The skates are apparently a reference to the "sled mode" Gao Lion had when combined with Soul Bird's landing gear. Don't know why they say fit to include it but I guess it works? :lol

The lion alone is a great Homage to Gao Lion and Shinken GokaiOh is one of my favorite GokaiOh combinations. Though the DX does end up making it look more chunky. Definitely one of the better DX toys of Gokaiger.

Always Did Like Wild Force, Especially The Wild zords

so cool looking. makes me want to watch wild force again and finally see gaoranger. watch them bring gao lion out again during another anniversary for there can never be too many gao lions.

I promise this isn't me being a sentai elitist. But Gaoranger is a far far superior show. It's one of my all time favorite sentai actually.

I still think this set is bonkers (in a good way).

I understand some like sentai better and I would agree for what I have seen of both versions of the ones I have seen. than there are some sentai and rangers that are equally enjoyable. For what wild force was I liked it when I saw it during its tv run. one of the better power rangers I think. as for Gaoranger I will probably end up loving it, plus it has a male yellow, and if timeranger and magiranger was any indication, male yellows are awesome.

I got Gokai-Oh on the sole basis of getting Shinken Gokai-Oh after i saw gaolion had that ability and that and seeing gaolion for 10 dollars on site like craigslist here. The thing i loved the most about that gaolion is at random times you press his button and he meows like a kitten.

Great two in one toy. Want both sentai and PR versions.

I wouldn't normally opt for the BOA counterpart of something like this, but my love for Gao Lion is too deep. I still think the Japanese one winds up being a better toy but i can see the play value in the american one too.

This is my favorite form of Gokai-Oh. I love everything about it. Again, I can't wait for the Super Megaforce counterpart ^.^

i just wish more combos like this had been done and more sentais than the 6/7 had been done as add-ons. specially since the only ones featured on the show that wasn't from the post 2000 era was the gorenger one.

Well, GoZyuJin's dino mdoe was a tribute to Zyuranger, and I think is the only pre-2000 one released as a toy.

Actually Gojyujin is a triple homage to Abaranger (robot mode), Zyuranger (T-Rex Mode), and Timeranger (drill mode). The Timeranger homage is more in spirit than in physicality. Since they traveled from the future and Gojyudrill was likewise a machine built by them and sent to the past.

Specifically the homages break down like this:

Abaren Oh & Abare Killer - Gojyujin
Dragon Caesar & Dragon Ranger - Gojyurex
V-Rex & Time Fire - Gojyudrill

It's a Grand Power for all 3 sentai and these rangers are the ones who bestwoed the keys and power on Gai anyway.
