The OP only asked: Quote:

Now because YOU don't like Gokaiger, you wanted a detail description of why the majority of us picked the show. So here you go....again. Kamen Rider Lucha pretty much sums up my thoughts on it as well. Quote:
I loved the pirate themed I loved the two female leads I loved storylines and plot developments I loved seeing some of the old characters from past series I loved the fight scenes I loved how when they changed into other squads, how they did their roll calls and displayed the characters mannerisms That's the WHY? behind it. I hope that can help clear-up your curious little mind now. :) |

I asked why. You said you loved it. I said that's not an answer. And then you respond by calling me a child? Grow up. Quote:

You never explained one thing you liked about Gokaiger. You first answered "Because we all love it" and your second post said "I wouldn't understand if I didn't like it." I don't know when those two statements suddenly became acceptable answers, but they don't say a single thing about your opinion on the series. If you didn't have a proper answer, then don't respond, don't try to assume you can take a high road (Especially by prefacing your response with an insult). Quote:

Yes, I read about earlier on Facebook. I hope it happens.

None. I do like sentai, but I've always found toku goes on too long.
From Shinkenger's massive slump for like twenty episodes in the middle to Dairanger's most interesting plot idea pulled out of its ass in the final three episodes I've yet to see a tokusatsu series be it GARO, Kamen Rider, Sentai or Power Rangers that has been able to be a joy from start to finish. And when a show goes out strongly, I'm just grateful for that, and that we don't have to have more slumps, filler and crap in the future - unless you count the movies, but you can avoid those. |

I'm kind of torn between saying none, because the series I've finished have satisfying endings. But I also want to see a bit more of Magiranger, because that's the first sentai I really got into and the first one I finished. Maybe just little shorts of what the family is up to, maybe another crossover movie, something.

Akibaranger... Because it's too dang short.

I think fifty episodes is enough, when I never want a Sentai series to end, I just re watch it. I always get kinda sad when the series ends a episode 49 or something. I like my solid fifty episode run.
To me with Gokaiger, I thought some more expanding on what each of them did before they were all brought together t Captain Marvelous could've made an interesting second season. I'm sure Capt. Marvelous had some adventures as a space pirate and we could've been shown how Basco, Marv and Akared discovered the keys in the long run, so somewhat of a prequel, as opposed to a continuation of the story, but I don't feel it's necessary. So I guess I'd have to pick Akibaranger since I think there'd be a lot more to poke fun of. They could even make a spin-off anime of the anime girl's movies and manga books. They could get new members. Cross over into Kamen Rider land and bring all that into the tangent-crazy humor. |

Now I've finished Goseiger...maybe Goseiger? It is not so much that I want that series to never end, I think it honestly overstayed its welcome by the end, but Goseiger had a rich mythology the show barely touched on.
They could easily do a prequel about a bunch of Gosei Angels in the past, who used the marble system, rather than the modern Tensouders - they could even reuse a bunch of the suits and have us battle with some familiar enemies. Or they could even just do a spin off following another team, as the show kept promising reinforcements that never arrived. We could see what they do when the Tower is destroyed, or something. OR they could do the adventures of Hyde and Magis, before Magis died. So many opportunities! |

Gokaiger. I love, love, love Gokaiger. It's the only SS/PR series I've watched more then twice and I just can't get enough of the cast. Show us what they did after they left Earth, we sorta got a really quick explanation in Go-Buster V Gokaiger, but it wasn't enough, I want to see them take on the Zangyack planet rather then just a scene with a standard fight on an Earth looking world! You could even give the series that didn't get tribute episodes their own tribute episodes. I'd just love more Gokaiger.
I don't feel Akibaranger seasons need to be longer. The 13 episode plotlines are perfect for that kind of show. |
Dekaranger. Of all of the casts of sentai, Dekaranger is the only one where I loved all of them. Most of the time, I'll only like 2 or 3 members.
|
I would have to say Akibaranger and Kyoryuger. I have an attachment to Gokaiger too but I was somewhat satisfied with the ending. Don't get me wrong I would always think of new material with how it could end but I was ok.
There is just soo much that could be done with Akibaranger. The possibilities are endless. Especially with what someone said about regarding crossovers with Kamen Riders omg. I would pay so much money to see that. Kyoryuger... there are a few missed opportunities. I wanted to see more of Cyan2 and Grey2!!! There is just so much more they could have included. Don't get me wrong I just watched the ending last night and although it was a good one I wanted more. I just have an attachment to dinosaur sentai in general I guess. I love dines man. 48 episodes is not enough!!! ;A; |
Since it's finished Kyoryuger, Kyoryuger, Kyoryuger.
|
I'm looking forward for more cameos on gokaiger series
|
Tensou Sentai Goseiger is what people would think I'd say. I would absolutely love a Ten Years After movie, like they've done with Hurricaneranger and SPD. But I'm completely satisfied with how Goseiger ended to the point more episodes would ruin it.
The series I'm choosing is actually Kyoryuger. I loved the characters, I loved the villains, and I would love to see more of both. As much as I loved that series the ending for me fell a little flat in retrospect. And I would love more from them. |
Gokaiger because I loved everything about it and I especially loved the designs of the suits. Captain marvelous was also a reason because he was in fact marvelous at being a leader and at kicking the zangyack's ass. Basco was another reason because so far no sentai rival has gotten close to basco's cunning and manipulative personality also he is so far the only rival of sentai to piss off just about everyone of his ally's one of which was a monkey.

Gekiranger and Gokaiger.

GaoRanger and Kyoryuger.

Akibaranger S1 in particular could've kept going forever for all I care. I didn't really like the backpedalling they did in S2 where they never gained the ability to henshin in the real world. That scene where Nobuo has the cardboard suit on and manages to become Akiba Red in the real world is forever engraved in my brain as one of the most awesome things ever.
But to copy what someone else said earlier in the thread, whichever season I'm currently watching, that's the one that I never want to end. I find something to love in every season I've seen. |
Magiranger, Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Go-Onger are the ones i never wanted/want to end they each have their own unique feel to them and make me smile everytime I see those suits...hell just hearing Daigo saying Brave-In gets me all fired up and ready to kick some ass.

Going with Zyuranger, but for lousy reasons. It was my first Sentai, so it introduced me to the world of Sentai while bringing back nostalgic memories of Power Rangers as a kid. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up loving all of the characters and the world. I wanted more.
The thing that pains me is that there IS more, sort of, with the Zyu2 footage. In fact, a lot of my favorite MOTWs from Power Rangers were Zyu2 monsters (like the Pumpkin and the Venus Fly Trap) and I really wish I could watch them in a Sentai context. Power Rangers is far too cheesy for me to go back to it. |
I didn't think I'd feel this way starting out, but ToQGer really grew on me. I binged on the whole series + movies in a week and really got caught up in the story. I enjoyed the character development and was very surprised with how emotionally invested I became throughout.
I knew it had to end, but I just wanted to keep rolling down those tracks on the Rainbow Line. |

season 1 was epic and it was supposed to build up to something great season 2 was the worst and it killed every reason for me to want a sequel since they shot themselves in the foot and all the interesting characters from season 1 were removed and got replaced by mediocre actors it focused less on the sentai's and more on the otaku culture&jokes even the ending was lame and it try's to advertise/asking the fans for help to support this half baked season |

but still even as a fan/non fans of this series who sow both seasons you got to stalest agree on this one season 2 took everything that was charming in season 1 and turn it into a mindless mediocre mess |

So can we all leave it at that please? |

i just wanted to hear his take/opinion & maybe argue if possible on the series but it seem i posted my opinion first and went overboard with this one >_>. |
