Blame the movie. Sinestro (and hence the Yellow Power Ring) were off-limits because they were reserved for a sequel.

Also the biggest reason why GL:TAS was canceled; no retailer would allow space for new Green Lantern merchandise because the 2011 tie-in movie was such a horrible shelfwarmer.


I just keep finding new ways to hate that film.

I can attest to that. I have one of the figures. And honestly I have more fun with the ring it came with than the figure itself. The figure is a plastic waste of money.

It's kind of unfortunate. I knew about the Sinestro thing, but I didn't know the movie toys shelfwarming was partially the cause of the cancellation. That sucks...I was starting to get into the show when, like, a few months later, the web was buzzing that it's being cancelled alongside Young Justice...

Didn't help that Cartoon Network yanked GL & Young Justice around on the schedule, with no new episodes for months on end & the sudden hiatus right after returns were announced.

Both good shows suffering from a massive storm of fail.

Well, it's kind of clear that CN doesn't have much interest in action/adventure type series at the moment, with many being cancelled on short notice or going on indefinite hiatus before getting canned.
CN wants comedy.

With the CEO who canceled both shows now gone, maybe things will change for the better at Cartoon Network.

House MD got added to Netflix late last week so I've been marathoning.

Missed this show a lot, but House himself really goes off the rail in later seasons. The line between "quirky" and "sociopath" isn't as funny sometimes.

Bionicle: Mask of Light: The Movie. The only Bionicle movie I do not have on DVD or VHS xD

That 70s Show. Thought this was yanked a while back; glad I can still watch it. MOst of it is pretty good but there's definitely a few uncomfortable moments I didn't really notice when it first aired.

Avengers Assemble. It's... a good show. I greatly prefer The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes!, but this isn't that bad of a substitute. I do miss Hank, Jan, T'Challa, and Carol, though.

So I started watching knights of sidonia Netflix orginal dub. Done by the people who animated TF prime it's a well made beautifully done CGI anime. And some say it's attack on titian meets Gundam

I've been watching that as well and to be honest... I find the animation style a little jarring. Not that it's bad or anything, it's only that I feel that the anime art style and 3D animation don't mix very well... please don't kill me. :o

I'm not going to. It's still better then cgi used in 2d anime place it's done by TF prime cgi animation studio.
