Alata is my all time favourite Red, being nuanced, kind and badass just like the winds he represents. Troy is basically Plank in a leather jacket.

I know a lot of what Alata was, was more outside of the footage and most of the footage just painted Alata as a straight badass but we didn't even get badass from Troy. We had a scene of him kicking a water bottle, and he was really awkward around some bullies, but the hell does that prove?

But yeah, Troy is more like the styrofoam flavor of a Golden Age superhero. He's heroic because he's the hero and his characteristics are Heroism and Heroics. Alata conveys compassion, intelligence, fear, justice and having a soul.

Samurai and Overdrive may continue to fight for "Who Sucks More" but they cannot hold the mantle of "Worst."
Megaforce is the worst. For there is no direction, humanity, development, humor or purpose. A botched story or a Copy/Paste is still a story, but if you haven't any story at all, you cannot achieve anything.

Now I wanna see an edit of that screencap from Decade where Wataru says "Decade has no story" but replace "Decade" with Megaforce".

Megaforce is the lowpoint of the whole of Power Rangers for me.

I actually kinda liked OO, I honestly think if people watch it, like really watch, not just watch it to shit on it they'll find a lot to like. I definitely don't think it's the worst thing Power Rangers has ever done, even before Megaforce.

Hell I even like Samurai to an extent, because at least most of what I actually liked about Shinkenger made it in there. Why would you watch that over Shinkenger? Well not all of us have access or the knowledge of the sentai original, so at least they're getting most of that Shinkenger goodness.

But Megaforce...everything you said is spot on, I don't think I've ever agreed with anyone more about anything on this board.

The only Megaforce Ranger I actually like is Gia. And she looks fine.

That's mainly due to headcanons if anyone was wondering.
