It looks like a Ring Pop.

I know this isn't really on topic as such, but Wizard was my first Japanese Rider series, and since everyone hates it (largely) I leap on any discussion around it, as it is so rare.

Although I grew to love Flame Style, I really didn't like Wizard's choice to just palette swap the same suits. Perhaps worst of all though, is both Flame Dragon and Infinity had such cool concepts behind them so it was so disappointing that the execution was so weak.

Wizard was a suit that I didn't dislike, but it just didn't wow me. It had cool concepts that were executed well, such as the skirt and the face design, but it countered it with stuff like the torso, which just looks terrible, and the rest of the head being a dull silver dome. I actually liked Infinity for making the entire head the jewel, and the more vibrant chest design.

This is so hard because there are so many awesome ones...

But... My absolute favorite suit is Kamen Rider Meteor.

This is a hard pick for me..... I've liked most of suits from the series I've watched so I'm just going to go with my top three. I like Kuuga's for its simplicity, Blade's for the card motif, Decade's due to looking like armor.

My favourite thign about Skull is he can practically fit into any series. There's nothing aside from the belt that explicitly sets him in W, or even Heisei. He's just a great all around rider design, and a excellent design period. He looks like an Oldschool rider, with modern suit tailoring, and a sweet skull motif. He has no outrageous design flare. The boldest thing about him is the tattered scarf and hat. The scarf not only harkens back to old riders, but the mere fact that it's tattered combined with with helmet really evokes a grim look. He is mortality in physical form.

While he embodies a ton of W's themes, he could stylistically be plonked into any series with a new belt and not really stand out at all.

Actually, wait, there was nothing really wrong with her design.

Showa Rider Suit: Riderman. The way the suit is composed + color scheme gets a S rank in my book.

Heisei Rider Suit: Kamen Rider Gaim. Orange is the new black. Plus the dark blue and gold works really well.

Secondary Rider Suit: Kamen Rider Gatack. The design screams polar opposite to Kabuto, and its overall form and color scheme are still my favorite things about it.

Mid-upgrade form: Gaim Jinba Lemon Arms. I like how the armor resembles a kataginu.

Final/Upgrade Form: Wizard Infinity Style. This guy's whole suit is a bling with an azure diamond for a face. Nuff said.

Movie only Suit: Kamen Rider Eternal. Blue hot rod flames on white suit, jet black cape, and yellow visor with the 90 degrees flipped E horn just works well altogether.

Monster design: N.Daguba.Zeba. Evil Albino Kuuga FTW.

I'm REALLY surprised Eternal's design is liked by so many.

Not often do you get a knife-wielding zombie merc transform into a suit that holds 26 usb memories. That is quite impressive considering that a typical laptop has 2~4 USB ports.

It's just so... unfocused. It's got a billion different design ideas going on and no clear direction. Does it want to be regal and majestic (white, E crest) dark and forboding (black cape, dark lines under the eyes, knife) or extreme-cool 90's style? (flames and memory slots resembling pouches and a harness)

Sorry to poop on a design you just said is your fav, but I'm just confused is all. :lol

Holy CRAP Kamen Rider Skull is definitely my new favourite design. I love the blend of modern and old, I love the colours, the hat. It's just so cool, Skull is so cool.

Eh, not offended. I got to liking Eternal more after watching the Kamen Rider Eternal movie. The reason he has blue flames I think is because he is dead (when Kazu Jun donned the suit first the flames were red). As for the crest it is the letter E as most of us know.

One a side note, one assumption I have about Kamen Rider W is that I feel that the riders are homages + love notes to other Ishinomori works and the Kamen Rider Franchise. Here are a few of my assumptions:

Kamen Rider W : Showa Riders homaged through its color scheme with the use of Green and Black. Specifically Kamen Rider 1 & 2. Homages Kikaider.

Kamen Rider Accel: Heisei Riders homaged through its color scheme with the use of Red and Blue. Homages Robocon.

Kamen Rider Joker: Kamen Rider Black.

Kamen Rider Skull: Homages Skullman.

Kamen Rider Eternal: Visor and cape is a homage to Akaranger of Himitsu Sentai Goranger.

NEVER: Though not riders, the way they are a team remind me of the super sentai. To a certain extent I guess Cyclone Dopant can be seen as a homage to the 6th warrior with the color scheme hinting at Dragonranger of Zyuranger.

Anything from Gaim.The other suits are great,but they took something we were all joking around about before the show even started,and now our jaws drop each time a new suit/arms is introduced.

With the release of the energy riders,asymmetry never looked so good.Just the detail they put into the suit,and then there's Jinba Lemon.They just keep getting better for such a hilarious concept.

Do a play on White Wizard. Wizard Infinity but with a really nice silver cloak or something.

I'm kind of tempted to draw Wizard with a hood now, just to see how it looks.

and in terms of Infinity...if that was his normal head, then what would Infinity's looked like?

(I know I shouldn't argue aesthetics, especially with Matrix, but I just want to know what changes you think would make Wizard look better.)

My Infinity?

A long silver cloak like White Wizard's, with a large stylized dragon's head on the chest and a wing design on the cloak itself. Like Dragon is wrapped around him. the mask would be the same silver but look like his regular helmet. And not a silver ring pop.

Props to the suit designers on Gaim for making fruit armor not look utterly absurd.

Ha, I never noticed that before. But, strange as the head is he is still the coolest final form by at least 20%.

New mention from me is Hibiki, I've only seen his base form so far but that thing is seriously gorgeous.

My favorite is Gaim Orange Arms, closely followed by Kiva's regular suit. They both look stunning and have those neat little details in them that make them look both elegant and bad-ass.
I also like OOO Tajador and Putoryra Combos a lot, basically because of the color-theme and because they can both fly- I love flying riders xD

I'd like to put my vote in for Zenith Arms Gaim. Dai-Dai-Dai Dai-Shogun. I admit, I hated it at first. It looked like Kamen Rider Gaim Infinity Cosmic States, but seeing it in action now has made me fall in love with it.

Decade: It's got a good mix of classic Rider elements ( the compound eyes, the ovalish belt with a circle in the middle) and it's own unique parts (the head cards, the asymmetrical 'X') that make it a clean and simple but still dictinct look.

Zangetsu: the light green, white and black/gold trim mix wonderfully. And I cant say no to one of the rare sword and board Riders.

Wizard: All the forms but All Dragon (and it's Infinity variants). The clean gemstone looks and the way the colour goes from contained on base froms to all over the suits in Dragon forms just works for me.

I think that suit is absolutely awful :lol

It looks like they abandoned it half way and any detail left is messy and out of place.

Finally, people like that suit!

Marika is actually a big fan favorite over here believe it or not... though to be honest, I'm not sure if it's the actress, the character, the suit or a combination of the three. :lol
