If the Armored Silver Ranger's armor turns into the key form, it's a must-buy for me. The hip armor joints seem to work that way.
As for the cycles, the drill-front is Operation Overdrive, the tiger-front I'm 99% sure is Jungle Fury, and the last cycle is, I think, Turbo, as it looks like it has the front of the Turbine Laser. It's pretty generic, though. |

Dragonzord and Titanus looks good. But that ninja storm ninja zord looks god awful. Are the shurikens on the legs molded in? Or a better question, are we even getting shurikens for the limbs???
|
Also, I'm glad I hadn't bought the Red Zord armor for the cannon, since the silver one has a more accurate black one! Nice!

Looks like this listing at TRU is getting closer to being Titanus.
PR Legacy Megzrd Titans Price: $199.99 TRU Item # - 859278 Bandai Assortment: 96980 Case Count: 2 96981 (UPC: 045557969811) Aside from that, if there was still anyone there, I'd love to know if there are more packages that show assortment numbers. Like, those 12" figures have an assortment number on them. Was there anything on the back of the Legacy 5" box? Were there any zordbuilder ports on Titanus? Can you also get a picture of the back of Turbo Falcon and Q-Rex? |

As for the blades, well... they look molded in. Might have a different gimmick though, but still, glad to see him and so far, minus paint aps, he looks great! |

1993 Titanus pic from: http://sl619-toyrandomness.blogspot....hin-power.html Had to nab a picture of the 1993 off Google. Got it from here. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BgoIvdCCAAAfpZF.jpg |
This new Titanus appears to be a retool? The 2010 Mix and Morph one didn't have a chest that opened like that, and in the photo, the Megazord seems closer to it's head.
But what about the rest though? It would make sense to keep part of it, since other parts are the same size. Anyone have the 2010 Titanus? How well do the cannons stay on the front wheels? |
They look good

im curious, if only 60 keys will be made and 6 are SMF, only 54 left. so that means there will only be 18 key packs, and we have 14 now. one team has to be cut i think it's between dino thunder, overdrive, jungle fury and rpm because we know the red alien ranger has a key so they'll probably have a pack. if i've counted right that is.

The tabs to connect the cannons to the front legs are more traditional sentai clips instead of pegs like the 2010 version. The chest is indeed brand new as it didn't fill out quite like that on the 2010. This one appears to have the same labels applied, but don't be fooled. There are a ton of hand applied paint apps on the Toyfair sample that were labels on the 2010. And I suspect will be labels on the legacy as well. If this thing tops out at $200 it will have to be made of 80 or 90% diecast. The 2010 was flimsy lightweight plastic and even at $50 was a little over priced. If this thing is significantly hefty then the $200 rumored price will be way way off base. |
There's absolutely no way in ANY of the 9 Realms that Legacy Titanus will cost $200! The only it could cost that much is if the rumors are true and Legacy Megazord and Dragonzord go with it in a 3-pack.

Titanus is looking good, good to know we'll be getting the whole set. Looking forward to him!
That Fuuraimaru though. My goodness, that's terrible. That's worse then the Lion and the Legendary put together in some awful ball of awfulness. Looking forward to the wave of "actually I think it looks more like its onscreen counterpart" and "it looks better then the BOJ" posts upon its release. :p Only 60 keys is disappointing to American collectors, but ultimately predictable, I think. I never really saw them making the effort to complete the line considering how many different places the JP ones were spread out and kept going 2 years after Gokaiger. Quote:

Imagine if the Legacy Titanus had a motor like the original!
And I do mean original, not one of the slow drudging motors like on Saidaioh, Mogyudaioh or Daivoyager. |
Our buddy Fury Diamond is at Toy Fair 2014 and did a video of the Bandai tour. The reps there confirmed it - Legacy Titanus is a Limited Edition, $200 toy. Save up those pennies.

OK, I'm calling BS on every level. Why the hell are they making this worth more than Masterpiece Optimus Prime/Soundwave and/or Generations Metroplex?!

Otherwise, exactly how is this "limited edition?" I ask because I usually see that being used as a meaningless stamp denoting a toy as a Store Exclusive. http://static4.wikia.nocookie.net/__...77/8953box.jpg |
Armored Might Silver Ranger?
At last! Now I can use the Gold Armor to make the Gokai Red Gold Mode combination! |
$200? Ouch, and TRU will probably mark it up an extra $20-30 over time.
|
Wow, for $200 I expected the entire Ultrazord and then some.

Does the Titanus have motorized movement? Thats the only thing that would make it worth $200.

Just because it is $200 doesn't mean it should be...

For 200$ it's actually cheaper to track down the old toy.
I remember seeing a boxed one in good condition last TFCon for 150. |

The Limited Eidtion thing worries me though.
Does it mean it'll just be ToysRUs exclusive like the other Legacy stuff? Or does it mean that it'll be in fewer quantities? |
I suspect it will just be TRU exclusive like the others and the "Limited Edition" is just an advertisement thing

Well I now know I'm gonna. HAVE TO GET ALL OF THAT silver ranger stuff, and devote a shelf to that.

I like the way people throw words around without any idea of their real meaning.
Good times, good times. When's this thing due out? I'll probably pick one up at Summer's end. |
