Quite honestly, for me, it's less about the DaiRanger suits (though they're a symptom of the problem) than it is about the fact that the people behind the scenes are paid to produce this tripe. It's almost as if the production side of things views their audience very poorly as they strive for that lowest common denominator output.

Well I'm dropping the show, it was never about convincing you guys to do the same. I was just shocked that people were actually like 'awesome!' to something that is so far from awesome, 'it's never been seen on this planet before'. I truly hope the people who hate it so much not only stop watching but stop posting. I get it. My 6 year old loves it. He doesn't care about where they get their powers he just thinks it's cool seeing the action and I got to agree. It is cool. I love Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger but see nothing wrong with this show. Different audiences and different cultures for each show no natter how much material they share they are different shows for different people. There are fans like us that cross over both groups but don't waste your time shitting on the show if it's not for you. Change the channel and move on.

Most people arent upset that it isnt Gokaiger, theyre more upset with the lack of effort. Is there really anything wromg woth wanting Saban to try a little harder? Exactly. I love it that we live in a world where this shit is defended, and yet Disney is repeatedly shat on. We don't want original seasons, with money spent on them to make great stories, with good acting and original characters and fights. We want 'not seen on this planet before' derp, using footage from a completely unrelated show, in a season that has barely any track to represent the twenty years of ACTUAL Power Rangers. But for a show supposedly billed as the huge 20th Anniversary thing that it is, it continues to fall short. Consistently. In every single way this show lacks respect and acknowledgement for the fans it was supposedly crafted for. Yes it's intended for children, but if that's the case why did Saban spend a year with the hype machine trying to get Power Ranger fans to believe that it was some awesome tribute to the franchise when clearly it isn't? It's a shoddily edited and poorly plotted show.

I'm not even a Power Rangers fan. I'm trying to look at this objectively as a third party and well, I've already said this better once before:

From what I'm seeing no one's pissed or complaining about the show not being Gokaiger. If we want Gokaiger, we can just go watch that.

It's more that this is the anniversary season. The 20th anniversary at that. And Since we learned about Super Megaforce it's been obvious that Saban didn't put any effort into this adaptation. It could have been a great season to go back and explore the PR lore or even find creative ways to explain transformations that never appeared in PR, but that's not really the case so far.

Time to give you guys a SAD reminder that in REALITY there are going to be FLAWS even in an original version of something that is adapted, people are gonna go all I love my thing and your thing is shit, people are gonna hate on a shit ton of things, that's how this world works, it always has been like that and it will be like that till all humanity is gone from this world in the next billion years *long way away people*.
