Now as for the talk of Shin-Baron, honestly it will most likely be the same suit just with straw effects now with the Lemon Energy on. |

Now I would love if the Visor had Straws going through it like a knight. |

Well, that was just plain great. We got some real info on Helheim, some real info on Yggdrasil, and battle lines are getting drawn between the Energy Riders, Yggdrasil, and the wild cards. A lot of stuff got clearer and it looks like we're setting up for some big confrontations in the near future. There is some major, major shit flying right at the fan right now.
And guys? We're still not halfway through the series! I kinda love this show. Quote:

Gentlemen, please return your seats in the upright position... This freaking show!!
|
It is interesting that despite Takatora and Sengoku treating Helheim as being simply an invasive species they also talk about Helheim "choosing" someone.
And on subject of Helheim choosing someone was the Overlord Inves the chosen one from his world? |
Holy crap how can this show just keep getting better and better every week?!
So many revelations, so many characters showing their true colours. Its almost too much to put into words. |
Those that suggested that this ep was a filer before even watching it with subs should hang their heads in shame, this ep was an absolute monster of an ep.
Jam packed with info and plenty of story progression, just watching Zangestu and Gaim team up was good enough but the ep was even more juicier. This series just gets better and better, keeps you on your toes and guessing all the time. |

So seriously, how is Urobuchi gonna keep this up? And I'm not just talking about the pacing but rather about him being allowed to do all this creepy shit. Admitted, this episode felt slidely disturbing. It feels like the whole thing is going more and more to hell now. It's still good, but for a show that's part of children's TV program at 8 a.m., this is just crazy.
By now, I'm pretty sure that 90 % of the cast are just totally nuts in one way or another. And poor Kouta ;_; |
Well now that I know what was all said...
Yep, Kaito's one messed up son of a bitch. :| I wonder how much longer Kouta's going to be in the dark about Yuuya. I expected it to be brought back up after they were interrupted this episode but that never happened. I also wonder even more how Micchy will take his knowing the truth... |

If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, but aside from that I just had a lightbulb turn on. The DJ is evil. The reason I say this is because now we know that Yggdrasil is trying to stop the end of the world, right? Who has been supplying Gaim with the lock seeds and upgrades to stop Yggdrasil, who have been trying to stop the spread of Helheim? I know you would say that he's just trying to help Gaim, but he was with Yggdrasil from the start,so he knows they're trying to stop it,and with Ryouma's reaction to Kaitou's speech about letting it happen,I can see why Ryouma isn't worried about the DJ. |
Damn, this episode is really something. This show keeps upping itself that I simply have no words to say.
It was such a chatty episode, but it fleshed out so much of the story that I'm terribly impressed. I was hooked throughout! And wow, anyone feel that aside from Kouta all the characters have sliding motivations up and down the morality scale? Yet, when you think about it, they are all remarkably consistent in characterization. It's just how the show frames it, one moment Micchy and Takatora seem like villains while Kaito's a hero, and the next it's a complete face turn. Yet they've always remained true to themselves. |
Kaito you are one sick man.
Well that was one hell of an episode. This show gets more interesting with every episode. |
Time to get out the "Kaito broke my heart" shirt :lol
Damn this Episode was intense. The worldbuilding in this show is just phenomenal and I cant wait to know more about the Helheim. |
Seeing this subed made me go 'WTF' even more! Kaito seems like he is crazy as hell, and the rest of Yggdrasil seems to fit, Takatora I think will get booted from the group and he, Micchy, Kouta, and Knuckle will go against the others... Though I wouldnt say that about Micchy, who knows what the hell he has up his scarf :lol
|
That banana in his helmet goes clear through to the brain. He's crazay.
But he's that "everyone knows he's crazzay" crazy that makes me wonder what's next. |

I guess Kaito really is...bananas!

This was an amazing episode , no doubt. The way the plot is progressing makes it feel like we're reaching the end , but it's obvious that the real story is just starting.
I still hold a little faith in Kaito , maybe he's playing the other characters in order to get more power. His hate for Yggdrasil might not be satisfied even with the revelation that they're not that bad after all. I really feel bad for Takatora , the people he's counting on hold no loyalty for him and might even backstab him in the end.I hope him and Kouta team up from now on. But first , Kouta has to decide to keep fighting. |
So, the creatures of Helheim are classified as "invasive species." Suddenly the name "InVess" makes so much more sense...

This show is SMART. It's wrapped in bacon, and that's smart. |
DAMN! This is getting Really good. And Baron as part of the "team" now is going to be interseting. I curious what happens to zangesu now.
|
Wow...this episode was absolutely amazing. A lot of development in the plot. This series is just going full dark, ain't it. Well, what do you expect from the great Gen Urobuchi. Still Bravo and that follower, Jounouchi, I believe. I also like the Inves thing, that was pretty smart. :D
|
I feel like this episode casts Kaito sicking those invess on the citizens booing him and his team in a whole new light. I just assumed he was trying to scare them off before, but shit...maybe he was gonna have them attack those civilians.

The revealed the big secret and I'm still wondering if it ends up being Earth, Zawame City, somehow. Loved everything about this episode though. But I think the only person that doesn't know he killed his best friend is Kouta. Also hoping that Baron gets his own Energy Lock soon. Epic.
|
If Baron does get Lemon Energy arms, it will explain the "FIGHT" chant of the lock seed.

If he does turn out to actually be crazy/evil,I'm still backing Kaitou. Good or bad,he has always been my favorite and always will be.
|
I also agree this world probably isn't worth saving.
BUT OH SHIT BETTER NOT SAY THAT HERE. |

Hey guys.
Let's blow up the planet. Yeeeaaahhhh! |
So why does this sound more like a penultimate episode than a nearly half-way marker?
