BINGO!! Those are the only Sentai series that have a CHANCE of appearing in Super Megaforce. Hence the reason Jetman, Goranger, Sun Vulcan, and a few others were cut, but not Dairanger, Maskman, or Flashman.

Pretty much this. Being a true Power Rangers fan, I just deal with it and watch no matter what.

That is me - during this entire debacle. As bad as the show is, the numerous defenders and apologisers in the fandom, is the part most hard to comprehend. It's like so called "fans" of the franchise don't want a good show.

Disney is the go too area of the canon to shit on despite being the most expensive, original, well written and well acted of the entire franchise and when it comes to something like Super Megaforce, a giant helicopter dickwave at the fandom...people still try and make it work for them?

I thought it was a pretty darn good episode, event with the dialogue. it all flowed together pretty well. it sure does seem that the longer its on, the better it is getting with episodes. thing is how was it that Casey was able to pull off the batman disappearing technique? than again martial arts masters can pull off moves like that in shows and movies. I am wondering if Silver will get his powers from aquitar, lost galaxy, or Andros.

I really liked this episode. I didn't like Jungle Fury when it was on and tried to watch it on Netflix last December, but couldn't get into it. They did a good job at differentiating it from the Sentai version.

"Aren't you going to answer your morphers?" Best line. Ever.

Thank goodness for not having the Sun Vulcan footage. I liked this episode quite a bit.

I love Power Rangers, but I'm not going to watch or support it when it's awful.

The lack of Sentai-only suits made this episode Excellent, but Casey's delivery dropped it down to Good.

I don't get it, Jason was AWESOME in PRJF, but he didn't really emote at all here. Maybe he phoned it in to try and humor the Megaforce cast or the director said "Hey Jason, can you go a little more deadpan? You're out-acting the stars of the show!"

Well to people who say why the past rangers aren't helping the current SMF might be because when the key of let's say Jungle Fury is being used, Jungle Fury team can't use their powers due to the keys.

This actually brings up a good point. In the context of Super Megaforce why the hell do the keys even exist? No real reason is given. They've been chilling in the cave for a whole year and are only now being addressed. And by being addressed I mean being power spammed. But no reason is even given for their existence. The rangers they represent are still clearly around, but not using their powers? Why do these keys keep them from doing so? Do they even?

It's not like the source footage from Gokaiger where the Legend War happens before the series begins. Then as a result of the battle the sentai powers are scattered across the universe. Saban has re-written the show to seemingly have their version of the Legend War as the finale, where it would appear the rangers band together to fend off the armada for good. But that means nobody lost their powers for the keys to even exist in the first place.

Actually... Yeah, that's one hell of a plot hole isn't it? :lol

Everyone who watches the show has thought of this before, and well maybe for my reason, footage issues and perhaps when the legend war happens the rangers can't use their key, and I can't wait to see them use Legendary Ranger Mode Megaforce.

Huh? I'm not sure you read my post. The Legend War happens later, at the end of the series. It has no bearing on what powers they do or don't use now. The previous rangers just aren't using their powers and no origin for the keys has been given whatsoever.

Not to mention the other confusion as to how keys exist of powers not used until the future, or powers only used in other dimensions. How do they have keys for powers that don't exist yet...or at all?

There is no answer. I doubt Troy (or rather, the production crew) remembers any of those Dream Scenes.

Well I was saying of how the SMF rangers can't use their keys due to the legend war, or it might just be Super Mega Mode in use and why older rangers can't use their keys.

Maybe a good number of the keys will manifest in to full on rangers to fill in those rangers

I enjoyed this episode I really liked seeing Jake and Emma together and getting trained by Casey was really cool. I wish we would have seen their spirit animals though.

Okay guys, time to be honest rather than skirting around the topic making easy SMF-is-crap quips.

Super Megaforce is, in my opinion, getting better each week. The plot, while simple and full of holes, isn't all that bad. It's not ground breaking in anyway, and easy to mock but it holds its own. Put it this way I tried a single episode of Samurai. I couldn't watch much more. This? Well I'm catching it every week one way or another. And with little cameos like Jason Smith, it really plays to my likes. I don't know, I just like cameos and vague attempts at continuity.

Yes, I am perturbed by inclusion of sentai exclusives. But I'm very intrigued to hear that they seem to perfectly match up with random logos spotted on Dr. O's computer that one time. That can't be a coincidence... and if it is my God SCG are the luckiest buggers alive to luck into that kind of "random continuity".

Now if they don't use these kinds of chances? I'm over it already. Super Megaforce is in no way the greatest season of Power Rangers I've watched, but it's by no mean the worst.

And I'm not "apologizing for it's problems" or anything. I still think it sucks royally in places, but I do think people are giving it a harder time than it deserves.

People saying the Sentai suits are because of the Dino Thunder nods are simply incorrect; Liveman was featured in Dino Thunder and was cut from last episode which destroys that very reaching theory right then and there.
