Ryouma is shaping up to be the big bad of the show but with all the plot twists it could turn out in a way no one would think of.
I think that DJ might be an Overlord Invess that has sided with Earth bassed on the way he talk about the Overlords as if he knew them, maybe not-Mai as well but she can see the future and know Kota will meat with a terrible fate

Holy.... Kouta is really taking things into his own hands as of now. This episode was amazing.

So the implication I really take from this episode is that Sagara knows so much about everything because he too was once a human like being of Helheim. When his world went down he also evolved into an Overlord. In fact the Overlord that Kaitou fought, it's voice had the same pitch and depth as Sagara's. I don't know for certain but I think it was speaking backwards.

Taking bets that Sagara is indeed an Overlord. And that he's possibly THAT Overlord.

I haven't been following the movie rumors. I knew there was speculation that he'd be here, but never saw any actual confirmation. Se seeing that henshin motion kinda made me flip my lid.

And, having seen the whole episode now, it's still my favorite part. And that is saying a lot.

This episode was freaking amazing. Kachidoki's first appearance was easily the best action scene we've had so far and the suit itself is very cool (even if the Kachidoki mustache is joining the Stronger smiley face as one of the most highly distracting helmet elements ever).

And put me in the "DJ Sagara, what the hell are you!?" club. He went from being an odd wild card to the show's second most enigmatic character in the space of a single damn scene. I really want to know everything about what his deal is and I want to know it now. Man, I love me some ToQGer, but I really do not want to see Gaim's story go on hiatus for a week, even if it means a vacation from Micchy being a two-faced weasel.

Fuck Yeah! This episode was totally fucking awesome! I absolutely loved Kouta's development in this episode and the DJ is great. Also Micchy and Ryouma work well off each other. Kaito being foreshadowed by the DJ was awesome too. I love the new form Kouta was totally fucking badass in this episode. Why is the crossover next week!

Also I love the scenes from the movie, I cannot wait to see ZX again!

Maybe I'm reading in to the text too much, but DJ Sagura says this to White-Mai:

"I cannot see the future, but I know who you are, and how wrapped up you are with the boy".

I read that as White-Mai is actually Future-Mai. And probably through that tree that they want you to forget about, she's able to transcend back to the past and is trying to steer everyone in certain directions to either avoid, or change, the future.

I believe DJ Sagura is the mastermind who allowed Ryouma the ability to manipulate the Lock Seeds in the first place, believing that Ryouma would be the one who gains the power of the forest. But Ryouma wasn't as interested in gaining the power as he was using the power for his own selfish ambitions, and thus, he will never be chosen by the forest. Sid and Marika are the same, and Takatora is simply a figure-head of Yggdrassil.

DJ Sagura more or less painted the rest of the show for us:

- Kaito and Kouta want the same power, but for different reasons
- Kaito wants the power to rule
- Kouta wants the power to protect

They are beginning the build up to the most epic finale ... a Kouta/Gaim against Kaito/Baron showdown, which is what we see in the intro, and saw in the opening sequence of the first episode.

The question is ... what will happen with Micchy, Takatora, Sid, Ryouma, Marika, Jonouchi, Oren, and Zack?

Obviously we know that Kouta is going to have to take down the Energy Riders to get to the Overlords. He's already spanked Sid and ninja'd Marika, but Ryouma/Duke is going to be a problem for sure.

UGH I cannot wait! This show is amazing.

This was a phenomenal episode, want EVERY SINGLE LOCKSEED EVER, as well as seeing DJ Sagara being able to make Lock Seeds, and the next episode with the ToQgers! Ohhh man this show is just the best, ever, nothing will ever beat it.

Plus that DJ GUN is like the best thing ever, why is 2014 such a great year?

So...is next week ToQger's crossover? The crossover is part of both shows' main canon?

That's a good question but what I'm want to knew is what order does the shows air and can he have one Thread to talk about the crossover as a whole in stead of one half on one Thread and the other half on an other thread, cause this crossover is going to be more like a hour special rather than a two partter

This Saturday is the crossover and, of the two shows, ToQger airs first. At least it does usually and I wouldn't expect that to change. I can't speak to how the threads will go, though.

I highly doubt that it will be a canonical part of Gaim. It'll probably be like the 1000th episode from OOO.

It's not part of the episode count for either show. It is a stand alone special like any other special or movie. Count it as canon as you see fit.

Oh, I thought it was part of the episode count like Decade's Shinkenger crossover was for Decade. Thanks for the clarification.

That episode was even better with subs. THIS is why Kouta is fast becoming my all-time favourite rider. Everybody's so quick to just except what they've been told as absolute truth, and hide behind the old idea that victory demands sacrifices no way around it.

Well Kouta's not so gullible, nor is he so black-and-white. Change the rules! Fight the machine! I love the end, too. "You want to keep secrets? Then get out there and actually DO something!" Yggdrasil loves to talk big, but they've really accomplished nothing. They just want to hide in their giant fortress tower and put blankets over the mess instead of cleaning it up, claiming "Oh, but we're the GOOD guys because we have a plan to commit mass murder on the flimsy and poorly-though-out pretense of stomping an invasion!" And then never stop the invasion.

Welp, now Kouta's got all the power he needs to start doing something about it, and the knowledge of where to start. Can't wait to see where things go from here.

Also yes, I also believe not-Mai is really future Mai. My guess is her enigmatic words and her weird phasing-out-of-reality bit have to do with her communicating through time, rather than havign travelled back successfully. Plus, with all the lies and deception from her friends just to protect her, I can see that being her motivation to go back in time and try to change events.

Wow, great episode! Where to even begin...Takatora's really gullible as hell. I wonder if Micchy was referring to himself when he said his brother always placed his trust in the most untrustworthy people. Micchy certainly grew into more of a shithead this episode.

It was great to see Ryouma finally pissed off for once now that Kouta and Sagara threw a wrench into the works of his plan. Micchy seems to know that Ryouma's planning to betray his brother and is still gonna work for Ryouma? Hmm.

What the hell is Sagara exactly?! I mean...I hear that he may be an Overlord himself, but I dunno. HE might be something different....After watching with subs I don't think Kachidoki is gonna be Gaim's form with a dark secret anymore. Regardles, Kachidoki is fucking awesome. A laser assault rifle, a machinegun, and a shotgun all in one. And he hasn't even combined it into sword mode yet! Not to mention the flag weapons, which were more impressive than I thought they were gonna be.

I think Sagara...won't be a villain really. He seems to be really wary of Kaitou finding the Overlord's power for himself and really wants to help Koua succeed. He seems more weary than anything. I do think he's a survivor for a world taken over by helheim...but what he is exactly, I dunno...I'm glad he gave Kouta a reason to fight to change the world...though AltMai still thinks Kouta should turn back. How can this situation he's in get worse!

Also anyone think Kouta's final form, Kiwami Arms, will essentially be his "Overlord" form?

See that's where you're wrong.He doesn't want the power to rule,he wants it to prove that he belongs,that he can survive.He also wants it for revenge against Yggdrasil,which I still believe he wants because he hasn't really fought Gaim/Kouta,and he hasn't really helped them accomplish anything.I still think he's using them to get stronger because he sees how strong the energy locks are.Then he turns on them and uses his new power to take them down with Gaim.

Other then that the only thing I can say about this episode is...."Prepare for titanfall" That henshin was awesome.I love how he uses the flags as weapons,much better then the gun.(I still like the DJ gun,just not as much.Maybe when he finally combines it with the saber)

With the DJ,at least one question got answered.He's not from this world/has otherwordly powers.I think personally he might have been the leader of that village we see destroyed in Helheim,and he's helping Kouta so it doesn't happen to his world.

I don't think Kaitou cares about taking down Yggdrassil anymore. He doens't fully trust them, but he wants power to be strogn and survive in the new world that Helheim's invasion is gonna bring and judging from him not particularly caring about project ark or the scalar system last episode, he's willing to see Yggdrassil's plans follow through to satisfy his ambitions.

i am so glad i got into kamen rider with gaim bieg the first rider show i'm watching because of gaim i've already caught up on wizard,fourze,OOO,W(out of all of these i think W is probably the best one) and i've just started decade not long ago

Wow, Gaim just keeps on getting better and better each week, Kachidoki arms is an absolute monster.

Loved the way how Kouta just didnt give a shit when he was get shot at and just blasted everything in site. What I didnt like about this arm prior to this ep was the weapons, but, after seeing it in action it is now my favourite set of weapons.

Im really liking the route Micchy seems to be taking, would rather he be this despicable little shit than just a side-kick to Kouta; and lick Kouta san's arse all the time. Although, the amount of times he mentioned Mai san this ep annoyed me.

Ryouma losing his cool was fun to watch as well, always calm, cool, collected, and just never gave a shit about anything.


Momentum and tension is at an all time high for Gaim, but, the special had to ruin it for us.

Why would you use a stick when you have a sword? Because there's two of them? Pfft yeah right.

Didn't look so dumb when he used them to blow up like 5 Kurokage Troopers.

So let me get this straight with the DJ Gun. First mode is a shotgun, second is (sort of) a semi-auto rifle, and third mode is a fully automatic rifle. Am I on the point?

I don't care what they blow up, he still went from a sharp object to a blunt object. That's a downgrade as far as I'm concerned.

I took the third mode to be more akin to like an RPG :lol

Well he has the DJ gun with three different firing modes. The DJ gun that can combine with his musou saber to form an even stronger sword. The flags are less of a downgrade and more bonus weapons. Why waste his blade on some footsoldiers when he can beat them down with stuff that isn't even traditionally a weapon?

In the midst of all that's going on, I actually laughed when it was revealed that Kouta has actually never paid Bandou before this episode. Bandou must really be cool guy to keep on giving worldly advice to a guy who apparently always dines and dashes.

I'm in the same boat as you, Battlizer, when it comes to Kiwami Arms. Chalice Wild does not look like the Paradoxa Undead as seen in Decade, which makes sense because your taking a monster design (which are tradionially very ornate) and turning it into a sleek Rider suit. Which also goes back to the whole "Overlords control the plants of Helheim" and Riders control the plants of Helheim in the form of Lockseeds and quite possibly, if I may use Blade again, the use of Lockseeds may have some Overlord-y effects down the line like Rider Systems and Rouze Cards had Joker Undead-y effects down the line


And if anyone else noticed, Sagara wears green. And the Red Overlord Invess ain't the only one ya know...;)

This show is FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!

Although there was some so-so character plotting - "Yuya I'm going to move on" coming from Kouta like five minutes after he was breaking down was a little forced - this episode was INCREDIBLE.

It was full of amazing reveals, and twists, I've got all kinds of questions in the best possible way. And although the actual quality of this production is mediocre at best you can't deny the actual designs are gorgeous. Triumphant Arms is about right!

No Kurokage Troopers were hurt in the making of this episode. :lol
