I was only asking about Sonic 4 Episode II because I have it in my Steam Library, and I never really got around to working on it. :lol

I'm STILL angry over the fact that Sonic 4 2 wasn't released on a Nintendo system...
I mean why bother releasing the first half of a game then not release the second half?

Sonic 4 Episode II had that makings of being a better instalment than the first then kinda fell flat on its face.

I enjoy the first episode, but neither are particularly good games.

Good grief, that game looks so bad. Just everything looks terrible;The dialogue (which is never-ending during game-play), the graphics, the mediocre re-designs and, worst of all, the game-play. It's so hard to be a Sonic fan when every single time they make a step forwards (Colors, Generations), they take five steps backwards. Watching people play the E3 demo was excruciating.

Special note to the rocks that just sort of flop about on top of Sonic's head. All the while with an awful narration. The fact that every ad has something like "This is gonna be so awesome!" and "That's how we do it!" as if the trailer had anything even nearly good is almost funny.

I try not to write stuff off before its released but just everything about this game looks terrible. I'm not going to be suckered into buying the game this time.

Just listening to Eggmanland's theme, and WHY WAS THAT LEVEL MADE TO BE SO LONG?!? To this day, I have NEVER gone back and replayed it.

I was in tears by the time I finally finished it.

Every damn time I thought it would be over, NOPE. Just a checkpoint. I think my final time was somewhere around an hour and ten?

Yeah, no. My frustration made the Dark Gaia boss battle a lot more difficult than it probably should have been too.

So, the series has officially aired, and I managed to catch both premier episodes. It ain't perfect, but it's enjoyable enough. Pretty much one punch line after another with some really good ones... and about two groaners for each of those.

Pollock and Smith are really shining, though. Eggman is hammier than ever and Sonic is in top snarky form, in addition to a strong voice cast all over.

I'm hoping the series manages to gain strength as it goes on. And... moved to a better time slot. No one is up at 7 on a Saturday morning anymore.

So i watched Sonic Boom, i was expecting something with a ongoing story that you could take seriously but with a comedic side.
But what we got was great.
My favorite line was. "Orbot and Cubot can't get tired because they have no souls!"

Yeah, I was also expecting something like that, a clear plot but enough comedy.
Getting all comedy was interesting, jokes might have been hit or miss at times, but Eggman alone is reason to stick with it the guy knows how to steal the show.

It was zany, but in a good way.

I think my finish time was around the same, and I agree, already going through that, then having to be put through the final boss right after...not fun.

At least it isn't broken like '06's End of the World.

You know what would be a good HD remaster idea? Sonic 06. Fix all the glitches, add in gameplay features, DLC, and rework the story, running at 1080p 60fps, on PS4 and Xbox One.

Yeah i'd play it, if the gameplay was cleared of most if not all bugs i think it could be considered one of the better game (Ignoring the story of course)

Given it's Sonic 06 a remake is indeed in order. We all know that game was one of the glitchier Sonics.

I'm content to have it framed or placed on a plinth in the middle of SEGA HQ with a plaque bearing the inscription "THIS IS NOT HOW IT'S DONE."

If any game needs to be remade or remastered, it's Unleashed. A few tweaks to the Werehog's mechanics and, I don't know, shortening or at least splitting up the unending nightmare that was Eggmanland would've made what was already a pretty good game, great.

Now that I could get behind. Although if I could only get one glitch-free remaster I'd be gunning for Heroes just because I'm a sucker for that game.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't get behind Heroes. Even by Sonic standards it was cheesy as hell.

Though it was otherwise fairly competently done and did introduce me to Julien-K, so I can't completely trash it.

Does Werehog have enough good will for that? I enjoyed his sections, but I'm find it far mroe likely to simply see his beat em up mechanics in a were-free game.

Man, a remastered Heroes would be fun, it's one of those games that deserves some more love.

You know, when you think about it, his gameplay style would make groundwork for a Ristar update.

I think more fans would want to see a Adventure remaster collection then a Sonic '06 remaster.

Thing is that opinion has been slowly turning against the Adventure games as of late.

It had Metal Sonic. That alone makes it the best pre-Colours 3D Sonic game for me :lol

I remember a lot of people like the Adventure series. People always act like Adventure 2 was the last good 3D Sonic game until Colors.

Yeah, but over the last year or so a lot of people are starting to show disdain or even outright hate for them, especially 2.

Granted the games are really showing their age at this point.

I hate Sonic Adventure 2, always have. The Sonic/Shadow levels are the only thing I enjoyed about it and theres nowhere near enough of them to redeem it.

Ugh, SA2. I really don't like that game either. The only part of that game I really care about are the Sonic/Shadow stages, and even then they aren't all that great either.

I still love SA1 though.

I enjoyed Adventure more, but god, at least 2 doesn't have Big levels, the mech ones make no sense for a Sonic game, but at least it's not Big.
