The Stars line?

That consisted of:
Tahu, the original Toa of Fire
Takanuva, the Toa of Light
a yellow Rahkshi (which was in the story long before the set was released)
a Skakdii (the race that the Piraka were from)
and two Glatorian from the previous year, Gresh and Skrall

A moc that I made out of a Toa Mahri Kongu and some spare parts.

I want to get the Muaka & Kane-Ra set so I can cover the Muaka in armor and have my STARS Nektann ride it. :D

I got my first Bionicle set for my eight birthday. It was a gift from the first friend I made in still keeping that a secret. It was a Vohtarak. I was especially excited by his poisonous fangs. The original has since been taken apart, and a number of pieces have been lost to the folds of time, but I do hope to restore my Bionicle collection someday.

I really wanted that one, but they skipped the Stars here.

In my opinion, the stars weren't really that great. Sure they were fun (and the Golden Armor was a really cool idea), but they just felt like an to anti-climactic way end Bionicle.

Yeah they were. smaller and less possibale which was something bionicle had been moving away from since they started.

I don't get lego at times, the whole point of the Glatorians was to distance themselves from the complex continuity, and give a breath of fresh air to the toyline so it could last longer.

And yet they inmediately destroyed that idea by adding Mata Nui...

But we finally got a golden Mask of Life :D

We could have gotten that later. :lol

One thing I really miss from the Bionicle/Hero Factory switch is Cryoshell... and the awesome free downloads lego offered of their songs.

Unpopular opinion time: I don't really think Bionicle was that great in hindsight. The aesthetics don't click with me anymore, and I don't think the story was that amazing(not like I knew or even remember what was happening).
Hero Factory's cool though.

For what it was which was a a lego subline that usually don't last beyond 2-3 years its story was great. Espiecally for a line aimed at kids. It did get a little mdded if you didn't keep up with the books but it was pretty solid

Next Question: What was the first Bionicle Movie you saw? For me it was Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows

The first one, Mask of Light and boy was I disappointed with the animation in it. looked to organic to be bionicle. they got it right with the last one with Mata nui but no one really likes that apparently

Well, in the story, the Toa/ Matoran/ Turaga/ Rahi/ ect. were biomechanical beings. Part organic, and part machine.

And Bionicle means Biological Chronicle anyways.

yes but this time he had fingers! and they could store their items on their back.

All sets should be able to store their weaponry in their back.

The original ones couldn't really do that...

I know, it's just that I don't like toys that have nowhere to store their weapon.

On the originals it was weird cause they all had at least one hand to hold their sword/axe/claws/hooks and then some sort of to pronged thngy that meant to be a hand

Yeah, other thing about Geoffreys, they had toys on display that you could actually play with. Like that huge Animus Megazord playset from years ago.

I remember when Bionicle first came out, hell I had all six Toa & Toa Nuva aswell as the six Toa Metru & Toa Hordika & Toa Inika, I didn't get the whole Mahri team though, but I got the 2008 Nuva upgrades & some of the Glatorian.
