Frankly, I love the caveman thing. Think about it. The cast somehow end up thawing this guy out of some glacier some where and he happens to have a couple of jyudenchi with him and... well.... then dino charge happens.

That sounds like an absolutely brilliant twist and, contrary to belief in this thread it seems, being a caveman could suit Nossan's wrestling antics quite well. In suit at least, he does appear to be rougher and less refined than the others, with a load more quirky traits to be found in the footage.

I don't know. I like it. Hell, I'd like it even if this guy IS the real cyan and not some merged blue/cyan or a misnamed blue.

Sounds fun.

As for the others, no complaints whatsoever. Judd Lynn is the biggest piece of news to take from this, for me, but that's for another thread :lol

I like the idea of Gray Ranger being a cowboy. I don't think we've ever had a Ranger who's from the South.

I think Torin will likely be in it. I think Saban already has a voice actor plan out for him.

I hope that is true. I wonder why the male Violet ranger is not listed. Maybe Saban is getting a past Ranger to play the role or he is getting cut out.

Violet was only in like two morphed fight scenes wasn't he and didn't both scenes add to like a minute in length? His character was important to Kyoryuger but the actual suit footage is easily cut.

Except for I think one scene most of his Suit footage is not even usable since he always shares the screen with one or more untransformed Kyoryuger.

I remember he appear in the final episode of Kyoryuger. I would imagine they would use him.

He only fghts in the Cockpit of his giant Robot. Thats pretty easy to replace with footage of the female Ranger.

I imagine the caveman will probably speak perfect modern English right out of the gate, as will the 12th century Knight. Somehow I doubt when they say he'll use antique phrases they mean Old English (or maybe Middle English, if they push the dates a bit). Also, is Kyoryu Pink much of a tomboy? I know she's a scrapper, but the little I've seen of it don't seem to portray her that way. I'm just wondering if it will lead to another character/suit action disconnect.

I like the idea of the Gold Ranger being a Knight. I had a feeling he would be a warrior from the past. It's the only way that they can use that idea due to footage reasons.

Red sounds like an average Red, Im liking the way Pink is gonna be, so.... Grey is gonna be a cowboy? Where the hell is the George Strait intro song at?! I really hope this stays as the characters we will see, because I would love to see a more southern ranger. Arent they excepting emailed auditions? :D

I have to say,being a "knight" is probably the best choice they could have gone with.Green and Gray being related is pretty crazy,but the bigger thing I have in mind is how is the fighting style for Gray going to translate from "lassoing cowboy".He does nothing but headbutts and martial arts,where did the cowboy learn that.Oh and if there are two "cowboys" in the cast,guaranteed one of them will have a motorcycle.

All the others sound great,but I agree about Blue/Cyan.I think something got a little mixed up there,but if not I have a theory.

Maybe the caveman starts off as Blue and switches to Cyan once they find the battery for it and then find a replacement Blue.Maybe that's why they haven't listed Cyan yet because Cyan will be the Caveman.

Not me, Locke. I love the idea. Displaced caveman sounds fabulous, whether he's Cyan on not.


Fact is if they don't mention a character to be cast now, they'll either be introduced in the second half or (and this is something I think people have been neglecting so far) they could have already cast the guy.

So blue is a caveman and does take the place of Nossan. Cyan (like Silver) is someone else, who they've either already cast, have cut entirely, or won't introduce 'til super charge.

Not too hard to figure out in my opinion.

Just noticed this... holy crap, Robert Baldwin is interested in doing American Cyan. Love it. Could this be why they haven't give out casting calls for Cyan? I doubt Rob and his Agent would have gotten in there that quickly, but I could totally imagine Judd and co giving themselves a chance to ask him first before they open it to the wider acting population.
