That is my worry. As great as the VA was for Sailor Moon in the 90s, can she even pull of a 14 year old girl anymore? Sure, she does a great job with Boa Hancock, but Boa is in her 20s, if not older.

Oh yeah, and yeaaaaaaaaaaaah, Goku's voice was wrong in Kai. Sorry, but the lady just sounded way off for the character, which is one of the reasons why the English version of Kai was superior.

Yea boa Hancock is 31 a year older the Nico robin. And I did not know thT she voiced Hancock. yea it just felt like pgsm actor of daimon and usagi I thought would like a shot of the anime version.

I've been following this and I'm not so sure about the new animation style. But then I read how it's more like the manga and not the original series, and the drawing style makes some sense in that context.

The short run though just pisses me right off. But that could be a test to see what ratings and such do.

I'm cautiously awaiting the new series. The new designs are very safe but what worries me is how much they're announcing it is closer to the manga.

Hello? The manga sucked. If it wasn't for the anime Sailor Moon would've gone absolutely nowhere. Usagi was a total self-centered bitch on universal level for the majority of the manga and the action scenes were just awful for the entirety of it and the writing was very confused very often. It was just absolutely not written well at all.

I am a huge fan of the anime and especially PGSM, but the manga does not deserve a closer adaption. I don't like hating Usagi, but if they keep her actions from the manga then I'll end up hating her again. I loved how aware of the fact that Princess Serenity was a total selfish bitch PGSM was, I'll be really disappointed if the anime goes back and glorifies her for no reason again.

Uh what? The manga is far superior to the anime because the manga actually had a plot. It did not spent 40 chapters just finding random monsters on rinse and repeat. There were little to no Monster of the Week in the manga.

And I disagree. The manga deserves a far more accurate adaptation because they have already done adaptations that were not manga accurate.

I agree with you I'm always fan over the manga of anime defently when it's sailor moon cause the anime gave to much monster a week and a filler arc and at the same time manga short I think 26 or so chapter can do all the chapter

Uh wait, what? The series is only airing bi-monthly? It's not like they haven't been working on the show for 2 years now. And 26 episodes? Maybe that is just the first season. Great, this means it probably is just going to be the Beryl saga. Ugh.

It's an odd schedule, and 26 episodes is a little disheartening to hear but we'll see. Maybe its just a first season that could evolve into more.

26 episode that could cover the manga version of berale arc but wasnt there like 16 volumes all togather

12 volumes with 60 chapters in total unless you count the two special volumes.

2season would be about right if they do 2 or 3 chapter an episode

I'm hoping that the plan is just for their first renewal season to be the Beryl Saga & they do like with DBZ Kai & do all the seasons including Stars as Sailor Moon Stars never got a dub.

Yea thing is it's not what's the point going all new animation for one season and due Kai thing for the rest of the arc it want look right they are going all out with this but doing new animation. DBZ fans wanted new animation for Kai

Yea one one or 2 arc were filler in the only anime anyway. This new one I can see being a 60 episode length to cover all 16 volumes and 2 ova that cover the side story's.

I hope that happens.
