I remember owning the entire reissued series (which strangely completely omitted Rowan, Kento, Anubis, Sekhmet, and Dais), and of that over time I wound up only having Sage and Cye due to time not being kind to the joints, be it the springs themselves or the bands inside them.

Ugh, what I wouldn't do for a Figuarts equivalent of them. The Armor Plus figures are nice but pricey and without the armor parts are just too lanky for my tastes. I'd be willing to trade removable armor for accurate proportions.

(And you couldn't convince me NOT to double-dip anyway.)

I first discover the show on Toonami back in 1999. I would love to own the dub on DVD but it looks like there is a license issue behind it. I did rewatch the English dub of episode 1 at my local anime and manga club for Retro day and people where laughing at the bad voice acting.

To be fair it was first dubbed in 1995 and was an early gig for a lot of the cast. It's far from their best work. Compare to the OVAs which were dubbed a few years later after the show took off on Toonami.

In fact, the second episode the entire cast were acting with simultaneous headcolds, which explains why everyone suddenly sounded about ten years older.

And yes, there's a license issue behind the series dub, but strangely not the OVAs.

You know, after they have all four of them out I wouldn't mind them releasing the MESSAGE armors, that is if they have access to that as well since sometimes licensing can be convoluted so I understand if it doesn't happen.

The Message armors are also a pretty drastic change one a number of levels. For one there's not actually an established appearance for the undergear that the armor goes on beyond some concept sketches. I wouldn't mind them doing the Message Armors, but I'd rather see Kayura, Arago, Kenbukyo, or Kaos.

All 5 Troopers are getting a reissue, this time in metallic colors similar to the initial Armor Plus releases. The two producers in the video cite fan demand, particularly for Seiji/Sage and Touma/Rowen, as the main factor in the decision due to them being the two hardest to find.

So with Shuten/Anubis having just released, it's Naaza/Sekhmet turn and goddamn I cannot wait until September.

New protagonist in red's name is Gai, and looks like the armor's name isn't Rekka, but Shakunetsu (灼熱, meaning Scorching Heat) judging by what Gai is shouting when suiting up. Also, the show's set to air January 2026.

Unsurprisingly I'm taking a while picking apart the few frames we have of Suiren.

While it's likely the one wearing Kouya will be the muscle of the team, I feel like this character could be the unexpected tanky and heavy defense type looking at what I assume is a shield on the back of the armor.
As for voices, a comment on Reddit suggests that Ayumu Murase may voice the Suiren wearer and Junya Enoki may voice the Soukyuu wearer, which, judging by the initials that were revealed and tone of the voices, seem very likely. My guess for Kouya and Senkou at the moment are, respectively, Shunsuke Takeuchi and Kentaro Kumagai.

Suiren's definitely keeping his predecessor's versatility - hopefully he'll use it more too. The shield is an interesting touch, I hope it's not another case of the water character being relegated to a defensive/support role, and it's definitely something different. Not really a fan of him using a short sword instead of a spear but then my bias is legendary. What really catches my eye is that the claw on Suiko's right arm seems to have been replaced by what looks like a hook.

It's something I'd been wondering about for a while actually. It's definitely a much more affordable alternative for gimmick-heavy lines than, say, SHF, and a nice middle ground between that and basic Rider/Sentai figures.
