I needed a figuart of kiwami arms yesterday, it was so impressive. Cant wait to see it in action more.

Loved seeing all the Armoured Riders team up during that scene. Was fantastic. But I was not ready for Kiwami arms.

That was amazing. It's actually a great looking form in action and the gold chest piece really works. Love the summoning of all the arms + cast off henshin and the use of the arms change weapons was glorious.

Man, I loved Kiwami's debut so much, I don't think anyone can top that Arms Change. I mean he's got 11 pieces of fruit dripping on him, now that's awesome.

Not a fan so far. The transformation sequence is full-on goofy and I don't like the resulting suit.

Nah, the next season will have an angelic thing going and will be followed up by a fucking amazing pirate series that makes the fun angel series that came before seem boring and stupid despite the constant praise it gets from a nutcase in Pennsylvania. :p

Oh please. Don't compare Gaim to the boring mess of Shinkenger. This show is far far better than that ;)

The closest series I can rank to awesomeness (in terms of "OMG I HAVE TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE!") from Super Sentai is Gokaiger when it comes to comparisons to Gaim.

Anyone who hates this ep is a sour grape.

I always found Decade Complete very underwhelming to be honest. Yeah, it's got the final attack rides but in actual fights it rarely overpowered someone. Hell, in the RX episodes, it didn't seem any stronger than Diend or the Blacks

So far, I'd argue PuToTyra is the most powerful Neo-Heisei form. The combos were already powerful enough to pretty much go unchallenged, bar a few situational circumstances (I'd suggest they fall either between a sengoku and genesis rider, maybe on par with a genesis) and TaJaDor was as strong as an enhanced uncomplete Greeed. PuToTyra was a force of bloody nature. Uncontrolled it was one of the most dominating forms we've ever had. Still get a massive buzz watching Eiji fight Kazari and Lost Ankh.

Have to say, series aside, the final forms in the last few years have been really cool. Even Wizard and Fourze. Kiwami though has a few choices I'm not really behind. Think it needs its own weapon...and while i get it, the visor and chest don't work for me.

Also, I'd argue we've yet to see how strong it is. Yeah, it can access the weapons, but I can't think of an ultimate form that doesn't deliver a massive curbstomp to a seemingly unstoppable enemy in its first fight. Extreme with Beast, PuToTyra with the two Pteranodon yummies, Cosmic with that horoscope, Infinity with Legion to just name the more recent ones. So far, as awesome a fight as that was, I'm not overwhelmed.

Bizarrely, if it beat Takatora as Zangetsu Shin, then I'd flip. Cause....Takatora man.

One thing I really liked is how different the movement was compared to the other Gaim forms. Kouta literally emanates control.

Actually, if you watch very closely, you can see the normal Melon when the fruits circle Kachidoki, so there's actually 12 fruits circling him :D

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. His attacks are far more... controlled, reactive. He barely moved Daidaimaru and still brushed off Deemushu's attacks. It was like watching the final fight sequence from The Matrix after Neo got his powers and just shut down all of Smith's hits without so much as a bead of sweat.

No wonder Kouta seemed so fearful about it; he truly has obtained the power of a god.

Kouta sure knows how to make an entrance with his upgrade forms...

Jinba Amrs - Uses the finisher right off the bat

Kachidoki Arms - Guns down every trooper, and takes out flags for the kicks

Kiwami Arms - Uses about 5 different Rider weapons and 2 finishers for the funnzies.

He was a street dancer. Makes sense that he'd know how to bust some heads in style.

Spoilers from the sub, here we go.

Malika/Marika abandons Ryouma for Kaito.
Sagura explains to Kouta that to beat an Overlord, he must become one, and what he does after that is up to him.
Mai warns Kouta that he's being used, but Kouta takes the Kiwami Lockseed anyways, to fight for his friends.
Ryouma peaces out, abandoning Marika/Malika.

And the next episode is the one we've been waiting for.

Mitchy fights Kouta and Oren ... and Oren reveals Zangetsu Shin as an imposter, to which Kouta yells "WHO ARE YOU!"

This series is so fucking good.

Kiwami Arms is perhaps the most gaudy Ultimate form I have ever seen.

But god damn! This show found a way to make it look awesome.

I thought "gaudy" meant extravagantly bright and showy to the point of tastelessness and Kiwami received flak upon reveal for being too bland?

The stripes on the legs of Kiwami are killing me for some reason. Everything else looks pretty snazzy in motion (that rainbow visor is sweet) and that is a darned neat first appearance. I still think Kachidoki is better, from an aesthetic point-of-view, but I appreciate Kiwami for what it is.

Also, that other stuff in the episode happened. :lol

God this episode was epic, probably one of my all time favourite episodes in the series. I don't have a lot to talk about because I was just enjoying it so much I just sorta chilled back.

Speaking specifically of Zenith though, I don't think it actually looks quite as horrible in motion as it does in the stills. I mean it's still ugly as all hell and looks thrown together out of the spare bits in the costume departments bin but the textures and details are much easier to appreciate in the show than they are in scans and the implementation was pretty cool.

Yeah, that was pretty much amazing. It was great seeing so many of the Riders working together. Kiwami Arms does look better in motion, but I still don't like the fruit all over the chest and, ultimately, even mixing and matching all of the weapons is held back a little by how, even after all these months, I still think the fruit gimmick is kinda dumb. I'm actually surprised there's no new weapon exclusive to Kiwami like we've seen in the past several shows. Still, it was a great episode overall and I'm very interested to see what's next now that there's a full invasion underway.

That said, I'm a little concerned with the whole "you must become an Overlord" idea Sagara mentioned. I can see an ending now that is very much a repeat of Blade and I'm hoping the show is more original than that.

This is EXACTLY what I thought as soon as I read that line. I love this show to pieces and think this is a truly compelling storyline. But I was really bored with Blade. So even though this is a recycled storyline, it's presented in a much more interesting manner.

I loved Kiwami from the first images we had of it, and this episode sells me so hard on it and it's gimmick, it's ridiculous. Absolutely brilliant final form. And the fights this week were downright beautiful. Knuckle/Baron Vs Demushu was incredible. But the team up near the end of the episode. Now that was some good good stuff. This show somehow succeeds in getting better nearly every week.

When you go back to the very first scene of the series, it all starts making sense in a new way.

Yeah I'm personally not a huge fan of Gaim's action/powers but every fight this week was just great. I know this is supposed to be the episode to show off the new form but it had a lot of competition with Oren and Jonouchi's epic entrance and Demushu being his usual badass self.

That's because the Energy Arms don't occur in nature. They were created by Ryoma.

But when the Arms circle Gaim, Melon Energy disappears and Melon is there instead.
