I believe we're doing Blade after Hibiki, because apparently the TV-N subs had really bad Translation errors that completely changed the plot or something. |
Update:
I'll be releasing a v2 of Hibiki 01 because some of the lines regarding Kasumi and Hinaka's conversation with Hibiki were wrong, so expect that tomorrow (6/27/2014) as soon as I upload it. It's pretty much done, just the uploading part is left... |
Hey Pika, hate to nitpick, but I just watched episode 2 and it seems like there are lines of dialog missing. It occurs at one point when Asumu's mother is talking to him, the family talking when Asumu first brings in the unconscious girl in (sorry, can't think of her name suddenly), and then when Hibiki is talking to him in the forest.

It seems those were timing errors that happened when I combined two lines together and it got all screwed. It's nothing major and you're not really missing out on anything. (I don't think the lady says anything important there. It's just setting the scene.)
I don't think there'll be a need for a v2. |
I dunno, if it does happen more than once in the episode that's the kind of thing I (speaking as a viewer) would like to see a v2 of. Or at least get some more clarification on what the errors were so I could change it myself.
I haven't checked the episode myself out yet, but if I were to notice multiple lines missing in the second episode of something its the kind of thing that might put me off a sub. Just my 2 cents. |
Actually, it's that this line:
Dialogue: 0,0:09:05.40,0:09:08.37,Dialogue,,0,0,0,,That first step to being your greatest self... Wasn't timed properly, so there's a gap in between two lines. This is what it looks like: Dialogue: 0,0:09:05.40,0:09:08.37,Dialogue,,0,0,0,,That first step to being your greatest self... Dialogue: 0,0:09:08.98,0:09:12.99,Dialogue,,0,0,0,,is knowing what you believe in. This is how it should look like: Dialogue: 0,0:09:05.40,0:09:08.98,Dialogue,,0,0,0,,That first step to being your greatest self... Dialogue: 0,0:09:08.98,0:09:12.99,Dialogue,,0,0,0,,is knowing what you believe in. EDIT: Quote:

Hibiki 01 v2 is here!
DDL UPDATE ON HIBIKI 02: So it seems the line where one of Asumu's relatives talks (around 3:38) is missing, but I have an explanation for that. Most of the line is unintelligible (I could only hear "Asumu wa koko ni ------------ na" or something like that) but I'll listen to it over and over until I can get something reasonable. |
We have a new site, because Blogger seemed to fit our needs as subbers more.
http://pmlg-fansubs.blogspot.com/ Hope there's no inconvenience! |
*Gets on hands and knees*
Please don't stop subbing Hibiki, I don't want to lose another young sub group PLEASE. |

The old one will redirect to the new one soon, I'm working on it! |
*ignore this post, this was an accident*

Episode 3 looks fine to me. Really nice to see this one more clearly - the fight in the jungle looks awful on the old TVN tv rips.

Have your weekly fix of Hibiki. I just released 04.

Just wanna give you major props for doing this.
Hibiki is far and away one of my favorite seasons of Kamen Rider, and that this project is looking to be such a success and is getting others into watching the show just makes me happy. |

Anyone else have positive thoughts? |

But no, this was more of a positive response to the episode being released. I'm actually just downloading it now. |

Hibiki 06 up too, with new typesetting. Also, a faster time than Hibiki 04 and 05. :P |
I watched 3 and 4 the other night and thought you did a great job with the subs. There seems to be a massive improvement over the first two episodes when it comes to timing and everything. Keep up the great work.

I'm actually working on 07 right now, so my goal is to get it up in 3 days at most. |
I'm up through six now and I agree that things are looking great. You're doing good work here and I'm definitely happy to see this show in such high quality (even when the better video makes it easier to see how bad some of the CGI is - oh man, that crab monster :lol).

So, just letting everyone know out there. Pika and I were wondering if anyone would be interesting in Gaim 1080p Blu-Ray releases. The subtitles are by AEsir, whom I hope everybody loves for their dedication and hardwork.
Here's the idea for now: Basically the rundown is typically having two sub tracks.
Any episodes that have the Ornac/Gridon thing, will have four tracks, because we're that insane.
And for Over Lord gibberish, you guessed it.. 4 subtitle tracks.
What do you guys think? Should we do Gaim 1080p releases? Raws are only out to Episode 20, however. Though, realistically, Gaim in 1080p is just too much of a beauty. Like AEsir's 720p HD Subs are pretty nice, but I honestly think the 1080p releases are worth it. |
Honestly, I'm content with the Aesir HD subs. I don't really need the image to look that much better and I don't get bent out of shape over the Gridon/Sengoku thing. That's just me, though.
|
So wait, are all of your file names going to have Delta in them instead of PMLG? Just curious because that is A LOT of file names I have to change then.
