WOW. The megazord looks pretty dumbed down from the original. I know it isn't a great image but I can already see where the legs/ankles, hips, waist, and shoulders were simplified. The arms don't seem to have changed too terribly much (purple WTF?) aside from a few noticeable details. But overall it looks like what I've come to expect from BOA.

Weren't the batteries supposed to have 4 sides? That could explain the Ranger in the image.

Edit: It was 4 not 3 lol. I'm wondering what the last side could be on the batteries(If they keep the same two from Kyoryuger's)

My same thought. Does that mean they're going to start off with violet, or is it just a bad photo. Glad to see the morpher is still the Gabrevolver, but we know the electronics won't be in there.

Fingers crossed the Jyudenchi still retain their gimmick. I hold my judgement on the Megazord though. It looks ok, except the purple Dricera which is just confusing. I know better though not to trust a picture. I'll wait to see how it combines

Hmm, really? I think it looks far, far better than what I expected. The Kyoryujin was a humongous toy so I thought they were going to really cut corners to get it down to a $34 toy. But what they've shown here actually greatly exceeded my expectations.

I'm guessing the purple is just a problem of snapping a photo of a screen. I wonder if the Megazord will keep the battery gimmick? I hope they get rid of it, personally.

I didn't care for Kyroyuger. I was probably going to watch this though just to see. But a massively prominent pink Zord in-show cannot possibly pass as purple in toy. As it seems I've said every time new toys get revealed for Power Rangers...

Which also brings me to the batteries having rangers instead of dinosaurs... What the hell was wrong with that? That was actually cool! This sounds a whole lot less interesting. If they are actually 4-sided and still have the dinosaurs... That's a weird change but fine, that would actually work.

If Saban decides to lazy up again and not properly edit footage then we're gonna get like 10 close-ups per episode of the batteries being switched on and showing the original dinosaur stickers that were in them. Just like they did with the Goseiger cards in Megaforce still saying "Gosei Red" etc. Gotta love the production values. :lol

I'm left cold by the pictures, but I'm not particularly disappointed. The megazord definitely loses some appeal without the black elements, and if the purple-pink is real then that's kind of strange. Zordbuiler seems to be in no short supply, but I'm wondering about the battery gimmick staying in place with the megazord.
The safety orange isn't too offputting on such a wacky gun, but it's still kinda silly to think of anyone mistaking it for a real firearm. Hopefully the black elements there are just being obscured by the background.
Not much to say about the figure or the battery/prism though.

Either then the purple Dricera (I assume that'll get fixed), the Kyoryujin doesn't look too bad. In fact I think its looks good. I love my Kyoryujin, but that thing was loaded with problems. This is definitely better then the atrocity that was the Super Megaforce's entire toyline.

That's why I'm holding out for this one too. Considering the breakage reports for Kyoryujin, I don't mind waiting for this one.

Considering that Megazord is coming from the same company who decided against female Ranger Keys, I really think Purpleceratops is here to stay. BoA seems to be in the mindset that pink and anything considered girly is a problem when it comes to sales. Which I can see to an extent, but there's gotta be a line, and a pink arm sure as hell isn't crossing it.

Really disappointing on a few levels, but I really wanted a Kyoryujin stand in considering all the problems with the BoJ version.

The Gaburevolver looks decent. It kinda loses me at the grip. The rest of it looks spot on and loaded with detail, but it loses a lot of balance, design wise, when I see that plain yellow growth sticking out the bottom. Hopefully it'll look better in hand.

Well a long time ago, they recolored a White Zord pink in the Shogun Megazord, so it's hard to say if they're really against Pink in a Megazord set. We have gotten the MMPR,. Samurai, Gosei Great and Legendary Megazords so far without a problem, for example.

Yeah, but the Shogun Megazord was almost 20 years ago. And the most Pink Ranger zords have been primarily white or grey with hints of pink on them up until Kyoryuger/Dino Charge. The last one I can truly think of was mostly pink was Magi Fairy, and even she had a lot of black and silver thrown in.

You have a point I guess. We'll see if this is truly going to be an issue later on, or it this is just the fault of the toy being a prototype or the photo being unclear.

I really hope this turns out to be some pre-production model, and they just happened to have some purple plastic lying around. I just don't have high hopes for it. Maybe I'm just too cynical, I dunno.

It does tie the blue and red together quite well, doesn't it? It's hard to look at it from a toy perspective for me though. I spent hours of my life just looking at Kyoryujin reviews and pictures while I was making the long debate on whether or not to buy him. Now I'm accustomed to the blue-red-pink dinosaur rainbow.

It'll probably look fantastic slapped onto a Plezu-Oh though. And I like purple. Maybe there is a silver lining here.

But if they've really repainted Dricera for the reason I think, then FUCK YOU Bandai. You ain't getting another dime from me.

Not really sure what to make of purple Dricera for now. Right now I'm willing to chalk it up to a bad picture and wait until we see some proper physical shots before making judgement, but if it really is because it's pink than that's awful. No point in getting mad about it yet though.

(That said, it looks great in purple :lol )
