I feel that the Dragonzord compromised for ZordBuilder out of necessity. There is no pre-existing MMPRs2 revamped merch so one would assume there wouldn't be any need for ZordBuilder needing to be included.

But I could be wrong, so...

I agree, I might not buy the Legacy items, but these are made for collectors, and they are only sold online, or at Toys R Us only, so its not like a complete retail release that every one will buy. They should not be made for a gimmick that is focused in the main toyline for kids. I am one of the ones thinking the next few releases would be a bit worse off with zord builder.

Not gonna buy it anyway, so Ill just sit back and watch the videos of them :lol

Some folks find it annoyingly pointless on the Legacy toys. On the main line it's fine.

Personally I don't care either way. In all honesty, the only ZordBuilder ports I know for certain that can be incorporated every single time are shoulders.

I hope we get a Legendary Thunder Megazord. It would be great to have correct colors.

We need SRCs of the DaiRanger mecha so we can scale them with the old Serpenterra.

It's not really that there's anything wrong with the gimmick. I think for kids it's a fantasticly fun feature.

It's just that Bandai doesn't need to compromise the integrity of a high end collector figure again like this will be, by trying to force the gimmick into the design. It should be a stand alone thing and be a true update to the original rather than trying to incorporate the ongoing gimmick of the main line.

Put me in the no zordbuilder for the Tigerzord group. I think id be a little more excited if it was easier to get the items. I still have never seen a Dagger in store and the one time I managed to place an order on TRU's site, it was cancelled.

Had they not retained the Zord Builder gimmick for the Legacy line the combinations may not have looked horri-bad.

After the Megazord was just a slight retool of the 2010 Megazord Dragon Caesar HAD to have Zord Builder, but there's no reason for the Tiger to have it. Note that the Zord Builder is designed for small children while the Legacy line is designed for adults.

Forgot to mention also, I found UPC's for 6 of the movie figures. Surprise surprise.

Meh, Dragonceasar is not meant to be displayed in that mode anyway. He is meant to either be on his own or over the shoulders of Daizyujin.

Dude he's just saying that because it isn't a primary mode. There is no "meant" to be anything about it. The toy is capable of it, and it should be capable of doing it properly.

Legacy Tigerzord? Does that mean we're getting a Thunderzord? It would be kind of weird to have a Tigerzord that can't combine with anything.

Zordbuilder isn't the reason it doesn't look optimal. Replacing zordbuilder ports with different connection ports doesn't change anything, it's just the way the Dragonzord was designed. It may have been a compromise to have a better looking Dragonzord in standalone mode, but it's got nothing to do with zordbuilder.

It doesn't matter if they're made primarily for kids or adults, toys are toys, and having universal connection ports makes sense. If you don't want to use them for anything other than show accurate combinations don't have to, but many people like being able to mix and match things into new combinations.

A zordbuilder Tigerzord is very desirable to me because it could allow for an approximation of the proposed Zyu3 combination.

Den-O is exactly right. I'm just saying it is not meant to be displayed like that because that is not the primary mode.

And personally, I never understood that mode because it doesn't even have the Pteradactyl attached to it, which I always found to be stupid.

It's not that hard to imagine. Zord Builder ports for the shoulders (like Mastodon's arms) and knees (Like the T-Rex and Dragonzord). And through Zord Builder we can finally do this:

I guess I'm just too used to the original Tiger Zord's design to picture the knees being ZB compatible.

Ivan Ooze for definite? I am SO hyped for these movie figures.

Basically to make the legs on the Legacy one compatible they'd have to make them unplug entirely at the knee. Meaning there's no joint for the legs to hinge up on to get them to hug around the thigh for Tiger mode. You'd just have to unplug them at the knee and likely plug them back on at thigh level or something.

The best way to do it would be to include a similar hinging joint to the original but in Robot mode the Zord Builder peg would be on the inner thigh/knee attached to the joint. Then when you rotate the leg out and up it rotates into place on the underside of the knee cap.

I'll still withhold final judgement til I see a physical toy but I can't help but worry about how the inclusion of that system will simplify the Tigerzord as an individual piece.

So a new Ivan Ooze figure to go along with the first official movie figures? (Not counting the McDonald's toys) Awesome.

Why does the Zordbuilder thing for Tigerzord have to be with that instead of the Megazord like they were planning with the Zyu2 footage many have already shown?

It certainly makes me worry if they're focusing on the Tigerzord linking up to the Dragonzord that maybe they won't be doing a Legacy Thunderzord. Hopefully that won't be the case, but I guess we'll see.

Yes please. I'm not even that big a fan, but heck more new Sentai Figuarts is always a plus, especially if it's MMPR for now.

Now, for this Tigerzord business. I'm allllll for this. Finally! But Zordbuilder? And "morphs with Dragonzord"? Why? I can already see wacky ass combos. Call me weird, but some Zords must stay canon for me, especially my favorites. Won Tiger/White Tigerzord is definitely one of them if not the most important for me. The Thunderzords just have the highest place for me. And bastardizing them is not my idea of fun. But...people are free to do what they will with what they spent their hard earned scratch on. The fact a Legacy White Tigerzord is happening is enough. So ends my useless complaint.

Sadly it's not likely to happen after the 4 inch figure pegwarmed. Though it doesn't hurt to let Bandai know you'd want to see her in the legacy line.

I'm excited for the Legacy Tigerzord. I sold my original DX & Thunder Megazord a while back, but if the quality of the Tigerzord on its own is like the Dragonzord, I'll take it!

These reports of it morphing with the Legacy Dragonzord works for me, as I'm not interested in a Legacy MMPR Megazord nor a Legacy Thunder Megazord. If the Dragonzord and Tigerzord have a decent combination, then that gives me more display/play options. I'm just hoping this means that Tigerzord will somehow provide a way to put arms on the Dragonzord Battle Mode without having to use the 2010/Legacy Mastodon.
