"Takatora is finally stuck down by Mitsuzane and falls deep in to the sea."
What would be the point of leaving out the words 'killed' or 'dies' if they expected us to believe he's actually dead? I still think it's all far too vague in both what we've seen and heard for any of us to be jumping to conclusions. |
Btw, anybody else find Ghost Taka really eery?
The way he's taunting Micchy throughout the entire episode and how he just appears out of nowhere? |
So we can all agree that Micchy is a few grapes short of a bunch? :lol

Bicchy. That is all I am saying, because right now, I am as pissed at Kouta.
|
Micchy used Cheap Shot!
Micchy (lvl 27) defeated Takatora (lvl 91)! Plus 1594640 exp! LEVEL UP! Micchy is now lvl 67! Learnt "Grab Finisher Out of Thin Air in a Badass Way" (nullifies up to two other finishers from enemy) Learnt "Eerie Chuckle" (hits targets' conviction; reduces enemy strength and accuracy by 50%) |
Damn it, Kouta, even Shinji and Kenzaki would have given up on Micchy at this point. What the hell else does he have to do to make you realize he's the god damn bad guy? I love this show, but Kouta is starting to annoy me. At this rate I think Micchy could tear Kouta's arm off and start beating him with it, but Kouta would still be convinced it was just a misunderstanding. :rolleyes

Holy fuckin shit this episode was awesome! Finally, we see how mitsuzane is absolutely bat shit crazy. Kouta was going through turmoil as well. Kaito's hot something wrong with him. And takatora why'd you have to go down.
|
Here's a guess, they are using Mai to like transfer the energy and reawaken the queen.
So this episode was pretty good, nice seeing a rider in shorts and Duke. |

This episode was pretty good. The Duke fight felt really unnecessary, but I guess the Micchy fight just didn't have enough footage to make the weekly suit requirement.
I really liked the whole part with Peco. It did well to make Micchy look downright evil. Also Micchy is still getting cuter the more evil he gets |

I loved this episode, well first of all, Yay! Knuckle appearance! Damn Micchy has totally fucking lost it and has become stronger, this Villain Micchy and being known by Kouta and everyone I actually like a lot more than the sneaking behind their backs asshole he was. I am happy Ryouma is back he brings something with him that is awesome even being the dark guy he is. I can't wait to see what happens next week to see my other favorites fight. =)

Well It sucks that we are most likely not going to see normal Zangetsu again but that does bring up an important point and that is the war between Gaim, Baron, and Zangetsu we saw on episode 1. I think that was a possible future that could of been but I think either Other Mai or Sagara must of done something to change that future, my money is Sagara telling Kota about the over lord which Kota gave information to Takatora which made him question what he was doing and stop following Ryoma Sengoku plane and the rest followed

Oh, I forgot to mention my favorite part of the episode: absolutely no reference in any form to last week's.

You know, after watching the episode again I can kind of forgive Mitchi's power. He's utterly insane and actually enjoys the fighting now. It's not like he's truly improved as a fighter, but now he's unmovable. Nothing phases him.
But the finisher part is stretching it, IMO. However, it does set up Mitchi as a formidable foe. |
I think it's safe to say Micchy has definitely flown over the cuckoos' nest.
|
I went with my gut reaction on this episode and I ended up voting excellent. I´m not quite on board with how powerful Micchy was but his actor totally sold me on it. His insanity came out in this episode really really well.
Him being haunted by his brother is so well done and I always enjoy Super Villians that are constantly talking to themselves :lol |
I've come to slowly hate every scene with Mai/Kaito and/or team Gaim's stupid hangout in it. I feel like, for whatever reason, any scene including those elements just fails entirely. Mai because she's totally irrelevant, Kaito because his acting is so bad, and that hangout because every single scene with it is just pointless air filler of everyone just sitting around discussing things we already know.
Gaim has a shocking amount of just dead air in it these days. I'm actively skipping any scene with the aformentioned and I have missed out on nothing. Also, Takatora as a halucination is very cliche, though not as cliche as "random damn flashback to their childhood when none had ever happened before just to hamfistedly remind us that they're brothers." Micchy is falling apart brilliantly, and the actor just a good enough job. But it's sprinkles on a carboard cupcake. |

Speaking of Mai…I love that she's still insistant on paying for the food their using in a city where money has practically become useless.
I'd love to see her in the Walking Dead. |

At least Mai isn't in every episode and getting in the way of plot progression like Yui
|
I am less put off by the seeming out of character badassery of Micchi/ShinZangetsu now that I see it with subs.
All the characters, from Redyue to Kaito acknowledge how Micchi isn't "supposed" to be able to walk through a fruitbasket/Lemon energy finisher. |

Must be pretty easy still getting a paycheck for a restaurant that has absolutely no customers except for the ones who don't pay :lol |
I am so convince that Micchy is the Main Antagonist (Villain) because he lied to his friend a lot, almost killed Kouta twice and he even have Overlord Inves to brutally beat up Peko, and he kidnapped Mai! Not cool man! Not cool!
Why Kouta didn't defeat Micchy? Doe he realize that Micchy is now his enemy or he just idiot hero. Kouta. Stop of trying to get him good. He hate you. Micchy is Best Villain Rider because he despise Kouta for getting people attention and take his love away from him. |

Micchy is now a low rent Tony Montana.
He has become a chunibyou syndrome deity. |
Two things I noticed while watching on my lunch break last night:
1. The broken Driver is the same prop they used for Hase's. The tragic irony of the situation offsets what would otherwise be considered laziness. 2. Micchy's room seems to be becoming increasingly infested with Helheim plants as he slides deeper and deeper into madness. |

Does seem a bit wasteful creating two separate props for the same end result in very similar circumstances, though. |

Oh, and the episode was alright. Delving into Micchy's psyche is always a fun ride, and while cliche, I liked the hallucination. I also liked that it wasn't an ongoing thing that haunted Micchy for the remainder of the series and he cleared it almost as soon as it showed up.
Ryoma, though...Man, those weeks where he was gone? Beautiful. He's so boring and predictable as a villain it hurts. Ryoma feels like a low rent Lex Luthor. "I'm a total monster and completely untrustworthy, but you spontaneously need me so you have to deal with it despite everyone knowing I'm going to stab you in the back. Oh? You saw it coming and had a plan? Well I had a SECOND plan because I knew you'd anticipate my first plan. Oh, you had a second plan too...Well, um...I have a THIRD PLAN because I'm just that smart and untouchable." When the most shocking possible twist for their little alliance is that it's not a double cross, it shows how cliched the character is... |
