I wasnt upset about Purple Dricera, but that toy looks like shit.

Tigerzord and Saba are a definite want. The Movie Edition White Ranger Morpher is a maybe, if I can find it on sale or something.

I don't really need any Dino Charge stuff since I have most of what I want from BoJ. That purple Dricera though, they could have at least chosen a shade of purple that didn't look so similar to the blue. I do wonder why they suddenly decided to change the colour of the pink zord.

I am very excited for the Legacy Saba, never had the original so really looking forward to that.

the legacy zords are conflicting to me. I feel guilty buying them when I already have the originals and they are fairly pricy. Plus I didn't buy the legacy megazord so I feel like there is no point to get the other two.

I really wish they would sell the PMC exclusive keys on the PMC website or something for people who can't go, even if just for a limited time.

But I guess that defeats the purpose of making them exclusive, just add them to the list of SDCC exclusives I am missing :(

I do wish we could just get a set of Legacy Ninja coins.

Dricera isn't even purple, just a different blue. Even a pinkish purple would have worked for me. Man, that's disappointing.

While I'm glad Dino Charge is keeping the way the arms work from Kyoryuger, I loathe the Triceratops being changed to purple-blue. What's next? Making ToQ Pink's mecha purple despite that defeating the point?

The Triceratops being painted DERPle aside the Dino Charge toys look really good. Too good. I expect that these were painted specifically for the con and that the final products will be missing much of the paint we see here.

I'm surprised that they didn't show the Megazord mode though. Oh well, there's plenty of time for that.

Still pisses me off. No reason it couldn't be pink like the show other than Bandai of America's continued disregard of female merch.

Looking back on all the pink zords in PR, this would have been the most pink. Usually its predominantly white or black, but Dricera is completely covered in pink. Absolutely does not excuse what BoA has done, but it kind of explains it.

The pictures show the beast battery is pink not purple, so that's weird.

They could've gone a different route. Look at Gosei Great, and Gokai-Legendary-Oh Megazord. They could've gone white and pink. Instead they go purple, and the worst shade of it I've ever seen.

It looks like when you were a kid, painting in school, and accidently got black or brown mixed in with the purple. It's not a good color.

Legacy Saba and the Tigerzord look really good, but the reasoning behind that triceratops color change is just too much for me. I don't think I'll be giving BoA anymore of my money.

Had the Bandai rep said something like "we found in our focus testing that kids, who are our primary audience, did NOT like the pink Dino. So we changed it to a color that suited their tastes more." I would be ok with that reasoning. They are in the market to sell toys.

But no. They took the "Pink no for boys" tactic. And said it like we are fools for asking. It's the same mentality that made Cartoon Network cancel Young Justice. This line is aims squarely at boys. GIRLZ NUT ALOUD! GIRLZ BAD!

And that, right there, is what pisses me right off.

So where's the quote actually saying this was the reason? Because I was already convinced it would be, but no news article does... Don't want to be treating it as solid fact without proof, ya know?

Exactly. There's nothing inherently wrong with the color change and if kids really did like it better, fine. But, the fact that instead it was the result of this sexist mindset is what makes it so problematic, at least to me.

The Legacy stuff looks awesome! Now Thunder Zords and Dairanger is complete for me.

Now the Dino Charge toys look alright. I'm gonna get all the ranger figures, since Cyan, Purple and Grey, and Silver got nothing in Japan.

Now, the Purple Dricera, love it! I don't have the BOJ toys, so it's alright. Doesn't bother me.

Don't get we wrong; I think changing a pink zord to yet another shade of blue is counter productive but still it could be changed to a salmon color during its mainline release. There's always hope.

Well. I was willing to doubt the purple triceratops, but now it's just solidified. I'm not a fan of changes like that whatsoever. I'm not really sure how Power Rangers can be a global brand when one of the most integral parts of it (the toy line) goes out of its way to exclude 50% of the population.
Rant aside, my two favorite rangers' keys are PMC exclusives. Shame.

Hey, if you like the purple, that's cool. That's not what I'm mad at. I'm mad at the flippant response to the question and the feeling that they don't give and F about female fans.

Also, anyone else notice that Tricera (Dricera) has an extra part on it's back that looks like it detaches and might become a shield?

The only key I wanted was Titanium. I'm pretty disappointed by it.
