Holy hell I forgot how bad that looked. Did they even look at the original toy/suit design for that? :lol

You know when I was young and watched that movie... Even I question why the Crane Zord head look majorly different from the toy/actual show.

I'm interested to see if toy companies like Hot Toys and Neca that usually make movie toys take a shot at making toys for this Power Rangers Movie. Also, if there will be Figuarts of the movie Power Rangers.

The CG for the original movie was bad even back in 1995. Four years after Terminator 2 and they still can't pull off good CG. Even Beast Wars had better looking CG then the MMPR Movie did.

It was really quite bad, I wonder why they attempted it. If it was so bad, it would be better to just use costumes and props like they did later in the Turbo Movie.

That my friend, is the MMPR movie ninja Megazord.

As awful as the movie Ninja Megazord looked, there were elements of it that I really liked. The transformation was pretty neat, they ditched the "power gloves" and gave it working hands, and throwing in the Shogun Megazord's sword was cool too.

Just...that head :lol

...people paid money to see that in a theater? *shudders*

Well, the rest of the movie wasn't too bad. It's not terrific, but you can see they were a little ambitious there, and that's nice to see.

And when turbo cannon movie that linked zeo to turbo came they went and used suit megazord. Also turbo serise first half ended up with continuity errors

I guess they didn't have the props from Kakuranger at the time when filming it. Also in the 90's, CG was a brand new thing for film making and I guess Fox & Saban were like "It would be so cool if we made the Zords CG!". I do remember some of the marketing for the original movie was like "Special effects would knock your socks off!" lol.

*screams in terror* We NEVER talk about that atrocity, Losondro!

If NECA makes Power Rangers toys then I bet they will only do the original MMPR/Zyuranger and the 2016 movie suit designs. They will ignore the rest of the teams like Tamashii Nations does with the Sentai Figuarts.
