It was a Greatest Kamen Rider episode ever!
so Mai is become ill when Rosyuo put Golden Fruit on her which is ironic that Mitch trie to save her which cause her to become ill. Will Mai live? I doubt that. I will debunk at Kickback's theory because he saids the queen who Rosyuo trying to revived is actually Mai from the future but the queen is NOT Mai, The queen is played by Bravo's actor's wife. NO! I don't want the whole timeline theory! They already did that with Ryuki! If the theory of timeline is right, then Gaim will be the rip-off of Ryuki by changing the whole timeline and will be waste of our time. I think Gen Urobuchi is trying to pay homage of early-heisei Rider show but does he have to put Ryuki's timeline changing in Gaim? That will be bad idea if they change the whole timeline and revive people like Ryoji Hase, Yuya Sumii, Sid, and anyone! That will be waste of out time! Ryuki was Controversial because that ending in Episode 50 pissed off the fan. I blame Toei for bringing back the dead rider from Ryuki because they only care about Money. |

-=- This was the single greatest episode of Gaim I have seen yet. And the ultimate climax was Kouta reforming the Kachidoki Lockseed, the theme starting up, and him just smacking the good shit out of Redeue. This whole episode is why everyone should love and appreciate Gaim and be absolutely distraught that it's going to end soon. So Mai now has the Fruit and is beginning her transformation into The Mysterious Girl. And you can't help but just feel absolutely sad for the poor girl. She never wanted any of this. She just got thrust deeper and deeper into the world when all she ever wanted was to dance and be with her friends. Be near Kouta. And now she was forced to take the Golden Fruit inside of herself and be slowly torn asunder by the power. (now this is just my opinion) But she is the single most tragic KR figure I've personally ever seen. Episodes like this are why I am going to miss Gaim when it finally ends. |
This was fucking badass! I loved Kaito and Micchy's slugfest and then Bravo and Gridon vs Micchy was great too I loved how they escaped. Kouta and Kaito vs Roshuo was insane! Man was he OP. Ryouma was great, I love that evil genius lol. Kouta was fucking brilliant I loved how he revived the Kachidoki lockseed and was empowered kicked Redyue's ass.

Okay I just finished watching the episode and I just have a few things to say.
First THIS EPISODE WAS BEYOND EPIC!! ahem.. Second, They really should release a Roshuo and Redyue figuart just so I can recreate BFG Kiwami arms fight Third If Kouta does get the power of the "whole" golden fruit, would that automatically make him the most powerful rider ever. Bordering on reality warper levels of hax and surpassing even Kabuto, Wizard and OOO. Fourth I want my above statement to happen and finally, JUST RELEASE RANBU ESCALATION ALREADY!! Now that that's done I'm going back to playing Phantasy Star |
I like how the actors got so batshit insane in this episode. Redyue's scene was so intense, my hands were curling up from it.
Urobutcher totally wrecked the whole monsters are final boss trope by wrapping up the Overlord arc this way. We have a good 6 episodes or so to wrap up the plot threads... I think that's a healthy amount of time to do so. Especially with DeathRyugen already on stage next week. Can't wait for Overlord Baron! And I wonder if they'll do an Overlord Kouta too. On a side note, the Overlord-to-character parallels here... Amazing. Both Takatora and Roshuo were betrayed. Both Mitchy and Redyue betrayed their respective counterparts, who were both authority figures in their lives. And it remains to be seen if Kaito will give in to power just like Demushuu did. |

I tried to finish the episode, but my computer turned to solid gold due to the amazingness of it!
|
It had some slower parts, but GOD, this episode made me crack up again ;_; Kouta... *sniff* You've deserved better than turning into... whatever you might become exactly.
|
I can't help but look at fight scene with Kouta and Redue and not think that Kouta used Vine Whip.
Which was looked Super Effective. :lol |
DDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNN
This episode was amazing. Thats all Ill say, if the rest of the season is this amazin, I have no worries about the finale. |
Oh. My. God. This episode certainly was intense and I'm eager to see the next part... but I do feel the need to gripe about two things.
One, I'm disappointed that Micchy won't be going back to Ryugen by force due to his Genesis Driver being destroyed, unless he gets into a fight on the way home. It seems like crawling back to Ryugen should have been part of his last stand and his desperate struggle to see his plans through to the end, not just a choice because he got bored of it or whatever. Second, is it just me, or did anyone else think it was kinda pathetic to see Roshuo go down that easily? |

So Kouta can fix lockseed now? Coolio.

THE BEST OF GAIM EVER!!! For me.

You know, it just hit me.
Does anyone else think that bit from an earlier episode showing Kouta charging into battle again Baron with an Inves army could be Decade-esque foreshadowing? Considering what's happening to Kouta, it seems like it might be alluding to Overlord!Kouta's final battle against Kaito's "Knight in Shining Armor". It helps that the 43th episode is listed as "Baron's Ultimate Transformation", which could be a hint towards either Kaito becoming an Overlord or being given Kiwami-esque powers to destroy Kouta after he goes over the edge as an Overlord. |
All I wanna know is where the heck is GAim's horsey?!
We see the pony in the Opening... And not one HORSE has appeared on show.... I demand to see Gaim's pony now. |

O.O
when I posted my ramble two episodes ago about how I thought Mitchy's plan to keep Mai with Roshuo as protection and a final test to see if Humanity is worth saving would actually work and change Roshou's mind...I half expected to be wrong. I didn't expect to be proven right in just two episodes...but Rousho giving Mai the forbidden fruit and then fighting Kouta and Kaito to test if there really was a human worthy of the fruit . So does that technically mean Mitchy helped save the world from being destroyed by Overlords. I mean I don't want to give the psycho too much credit as I know he will most likely become the next big threat to humanity, but it's an interesting thought. I was hopping Mai would convince Roshuo to change his mind by using her strength that I have grown to admire in the series like how she immediately takes charge when she knows of problem and works her ass off to change or adapt to a bad situation no matter how hopeless it seems...but no it's just that she says something that reminds Roshuo of his dead wife... still great episode thought |

Well I think it was his dead wife that chose him to be king since she had the one red eye and all that, so by giving Mai the fruit, he was helping humanity in the only way he knows how. Ultimately it didn't work out for them, but he's gambling on the small chance that it might for the humans. He's easily the most cynical character in the show, but when he gave Mai the fruit, I realized that he might have been hopeful and naive in the past, I guess an eternity with a bunch of douchebags is a terrible fate to endure. |
Shout out to the overlord queen for seriously being really beautiful.

Did it seem to anyone else that Kouta might have been...laughing after he killed Redyue? Because the way he just stood their afterwards already flared warning signs for me, and I could swear I heard a little chuckle.
|
I really hope Micchy has an epic Light Yagami breakdown at the end of the series...it'd be perfect.

This episode really had it all. Nice story advancement, Takatora trolling Misuzane, and really good fights. I need an mp3 of Kiwami Escalation even more now. I already thought the song was awesome, but it really puntuated that fight with Redue.
