Does he seriously think that Ryouma's not going to wait until he's gone, then just grab a saw or something and cut the Golden Fruit right the hell out of Mai's chest in the most direct and gory way possible? Come on, man, this is the guy who cut his own brain out once for the lulz; your unrequited crush doesn't mean shit to him.

Obviously she's fine next week cause she's glowing gold and floating around in the preview, but Micchy doesn't know that. It amazes me that anyone who's been around him for more than five minutes even slightly trusts Ryouma. Even the crazy dude who keeps arguing with his dead brother.

This episode made me feel sympathy for Mitsuzane. Something I didn't think I had for him anymore after all he's done. But this episode managed it. Takatora was right though. For all his schemes, and plots, and betrayals, he forgot what he was even trying to protect. And ended up with nothing.

Finally know what Sagara is now. The snake. And if everything is going by that and Mai is the Woman of the Beginning, or Eve, would that make Kouta 'Adam' then?

And maybe Junnoichi has really been the real hero this entire time, but I don't see that happening either.

Great episode! I've gone from Micchy being my favorite character, to hating him for being a betraying asshole, to loving him as a psycho villain, and now I feel sorry for him because he's realized where his path as taken him. I love his Hell Fruit form, it looks amazing and it's one of the best he's fought in the series. I don't trust Ryouma at all but I haven't for a while lol. I enjoyed Kaito and Yoko's talk, and I loved Zack, Jonouchi, and Oren's scene together those 3 are so fun. I feel bad for Kaito too. Also Sagara being the Forest is huge! I cannot wait for these next few episodes.

This episode is just setting up the finale. It was good though.

Kaito and Minato's talk was interesting, glad to see they didn't forget about his motivations. But man, did they not do ADR for that scene? The audio was awful.

So Sagara is Helheim. And Mai will become the Women of the Beginning. Intriguing.

Everything with Mitchi was pretty great. I kind of sympathize with him, since he finally realized he lost track of what he was fighting for.

Yomotsu Heguri was kind of disappointing IMO. Came out of nowhere.

So... the Yomutsuheareyoukiddingme Lock was the prototype of prototypes. Kinda makes me wonder how a Zangetsu Yomi would look... Still, Ryoma having it seems like something of an asspull considering it harnesses OVERLORD weapons, and he didn't even know about them until after the initial Driver testing... Ah well.

Unless we get some extra context in the next few episodes, which I really hope we do.

I teared up when he broke out the Yomu- you know what, Raisin Lockseed. I ain't typing all that out. I teared up when he broke out the Raisin lockseed. He's so completely broken and beyond hope, he's lost everything he ever considered living for- his friends, Mai, Takatora- he has absolutely nothing left to do but die and take as much with him as he can, which is an interesting parallel to Kaito. I wouldn't be surprised if his last words are him both damning Kouta and begging his- and everyone's- forgiveness.

I have to hand it to Gen and the rest of the staff for creating such a compellingly tragic character.

Just as importantly, we finally have context for Blonde Mai:

a projection of the golden fruit itself.

It's so goddamn obvious I feel like an idiot for not seeing it sooner.

Although, you could argue that Ryoma was tinkering with the Lock after he found about them and using the data from the Kiwami Key but, yeah, that was the weaker part of the episode IMO.

I liked the Yomi lock seed and everything, they did a good job of displaying a sense of dread. But I think it just clashes with the fact that Ryoma really does pull it out of nowhere.

Watching the Henshin sequence, it just feels like something humans shouldn't have been able to make themselves.

I'm not against the idea of him toying with it after seeing Kiwami in action, but like you've said, its origins just completely clash with its function. I really, really hope we get some more context, some kind of reveal about its origins, somewhere soon. That he only told Micchy a fraction of the truth about its origins and is simply using him as a guinea pig, which would fit PERFECTLY with the Bad Professor's modus operandi. Something this drastic, this horrifying, shouldn't be relegated to having such a mundane background.

Ah, I thought the only one who felt a bit of sympathy for him. I guess I also feel Kouta's pain of losing a friend in this as well. It's hard to see what poor, naive Micchy has turned into, now that he has made all these horrible decisions. And he knows that he is wrong, deep down somewhere, but he doesn't care anymore. Poor thing.

For a character that started out good, and now has to die a villain. *sniffs* Micchy, you could've been the one who saves the world from Inves. And the way it shows how much he's in pain using the Yomotsuheguri Lockseed, it's saddening. So tragic, really.

I'm kinda sad that he has to die like that, and Kouta's the one doing it. You can clearly see Kouta still cares for his good ol' friend, which adds up to the drama. I can't wait until next week.

So did I. And before this episode I hated him and wanted him dead. Slowly, painfully, dead. And then this happened. They broke Micchy, Dammit! No, I think knowing the Golden Fruit is inside Mai and slowly killing her is what broke him. And finally coming to terms that he killed his Brother. And damn Ryouma for taking advantage of that. He's now on my want dead list.

But with the Overlords dead except Baron next week, it makes me wonder who the final battle will be against. Foundation X? Ryouma? Terror Dopant?!

Ryoma. Unless Sagara as the embodiment of Helheim takes action, I think Ryoma will be the one who threatens to destroy both worlds in his madness. He clearly has something in mind and giving Mitsuzane the new lockseed wasn’t just out of good will too. I bet he tests this creation of his and will use a more perfected version in combination with the power of the golden fruit to become Final Boss-Ryoma.

My sentiments exactly. I'm hoping that he was either lying or "creatively telling the truth" about the origins of the Raisin lock he gave Micchy. With it as it is now, he's killing two birds with one stone, three if he's lucky: He gets test data, he eliminates Micchy for sure, and absolute best case, he eliminates Kouta.

Ok I absolutely love Ryugen Yomi. Design wise, concept wise, what it represents for Micchy. It's freakin kick-ass. It's a nice way to bring everything back to the beginning by using the Ryugen base once more, symbolizing how far Micchy has fallen since he first became a Rider. I also love how he's become a total berserker now and it seems the Ouja comparisons are coming true with how ruthless and apathetic he's become towards human life. And dammit the idea of a Tertiary Rider getting a dark rider form is quite unique.

At this point it feels like Micchy is more the Secondary than the Tertiary Rider. Truth be told he seems to have been switching back and forth with Kaito since the mid-teens.

I love Ryugen Yomi too, don’t get me wrong, but I'm a little bit angry about how half-assed it is. Only 2 episodes of appearance (apparently), no explanation about how he has Overlord weapons (or both of his Rider-weapons for that matter) and no real technique to summon them. I mean Kiwami-Gaim turns the key and the belt announces the weapon, with Ryugen Yomi he just pulls it out of nowhere. Or maybe out of his ass and that’s why it hurts so much.

I think this form was rushed or never planned, reason being its just a repainted mix of two already existing suits (even the lockseed is a repainted Budou) and it also only uses weapons that are already there. They didn’t even bother repainting the back of the Kiwi-helmet or his weapons.

And Ryoma just opening the drawer and pulling the lockseed out was anti-climatic as hell. I hope we get back at this, with Ryoma unveiling his reasons behind creating and giving it to Mitsuzane, and that it is actually a very important part of his plan.

Because if they just throw this out and never talk about the damn thing again I'm really mad.

Everything else about it is cool though, especially the way the armor gets summoned and attaches. But that’s the next thing: Its definitely no crack. Then what is it? I wouldn’t put it past Gaim to actually include this, that maybe not Yomutsu Heguri itself is the deal, but the world it comes from. The series will end soon, but Ryoma harnessing the power of another world that was previously devoured by Helheim could be a thing.

Outside of marketing, Gaim doesn't conform to Main, Secondary, Tertiary, etc. It's more a tier set up with the top tier being the most important Riders with the most focus, the middle tier being important to the story but have less focus than the top tier, and the bottom tier being Riders of the least importance.

Top Tier Riders: Gaim, Baron, Ryugen
Middle Tier Riders: Zangetsu, Duke, Sigurd, Marika
Bottom Tier Riders: Bravo, Gridon, Knuckle, Kurokage (Both Hasse and trooper).

PS I just noticed that these tiers match their ranks for power to with the top being the most upgraded Riders, the middle being Energy Riders, and the bottom being the rest of the Sengoku Riders.

Please. We all know the differences in tiers are between Fruits and Nuts. In Mitsuzane's case, that's as close to the truth as possible.

Sadly I figured out where all this is going. And it isn't to a nice place. I do find Sagara's reveal to be quite interesting. He's the Q of the Gaim universe.

I'm also saddened that we're reaching the end of this story. It's been so good, it's going to be a hard series to top in any fashion.

Oh, and Kamen Rider troupe is active! Repeat, troupe is active! - If you're the sidekick, your belt is probably trying to kill you.

Because Gaim is like Ryuki, Faiz and Blade all squished and blended into one with a fruity flavor. Plus, he's probably gonna rip off the ending from Blade.

So...I know a lot happened, and it was all dramatic, but I'm gonna be honest.
This episode was surprisingly underwhelming.

Nothing that happened really surprised or intrigued me.
Even the revelation that Sagara IS Helheim only elicited an "Eh" from me.
Everything else was just kind of par for the course for how Gaim has been moving recently.
Kouta being a dumbass who still refuses to lift a finger against someone trying to kill him? Check (I'm willing to grant a little leeway on this one, but at this point, he's not even defending himself against Micchy, which is where the line is drawn).
Kaito being a complete douche while spouting some nonsense about power? Check.
Peach being a complete satellite and not making any choices for herself? Check.
Ryoma puppetmastering everyone because all evil geniuses have to do it at some point? Check.
Micchy showing how horrible his common sense is again? Check.

I really wanted to be wowed by this episode, as a lot of major developments and revelations occurred. But it really feels like Gaim has a hard time just finding an identity for itself...
