I'm calling DJ Sagara. It makes the most since to me thematically. Sagara is the embodiment of the real threat of the show. That screams final boss. It also makes the Rider's name a pun and Japan loves those. Plus, Sagara is the Serpent to Helheim's Garden of Eden. A black apple Lockseed is fitting for the Serpent to have.


On the other hand, the helmet design sort of looks like one of Ryoma's drawings from way back in episode 15. There's nothing else I'm seeing suggesting it's Ryoma other than that. In fact, I'm betting Ryoma is going to die next week anyways. It's just a gut feeling.

The lockseed is called the Black Ringo Lockseed.

It's another apple Rider yet it uses the Daidaimaru?

But yeah, this is fairly exciting. I don't really know where it will fit at all but cool to see another Rider. And the helmet is pretty awesome.

I also think it's Sagara. If you think about it, why would Ryoma abandon his greatest creation (The Genesis Driver)?

Well Ryoma has been shown in the series to be very surprised by the Sengoku Driver's potential for power (Jinba Lemon, Kachidoki etc) and we've seen the power of a Sengoku Driver with the right Lockseed (Yoma) so it's entirely possible he'd switch things up.

If you look at the top left corner Jam is slicing someone in blue armor but the blue guy has a sengoku driver. Weird

But Ryouma's been actively gathering data on the Overlords, Kiwami Arms, and I suppose Yomotsu Heguri as well. He's been compiling new information and as we've already seen he "overclocked" his Genesis Driver to full capacity. He's the most logical in that regard to me. He could quite easily have just created a new type of Sengoku Driver to accommodate this lock. His progression breaking back into Yggdrasil while simultaneously gathering vital data on final attacks, special moves, and forms leads me to believe he's the most logical user for the suit.

With the power Sagura has, would he really need to stoop down to the level of humanity and use their play things to harness his own power? I'd think not.

But again, I could be totally wrong.

Decent argument. You could be wrong, I could be wrong. We can both be wrong. Heck, we even could both be right. Maybe it's Sagara until Ryoma comes in a kills Sagara claiming the power for himself. Or something else entirely. It's Gaim after all.

So if he appeared in Drive, would that make him Kamen Rider Traffic Jam? :p

Jam is a hilarous name just ripe for jokes. But why did they reuse the movie suits for any reason? His head looks more like a knockoff then anything else. I think the villains in the movies Gaim has been in look like they have had a bigger budget this this Black and Pink Rotten apple.

Say what you will about early Heisei era Rider, but those final Villains did not look thrown together.

By the way, it's not supposed to be the English word 'jam' unless it's supposed to be a double meaning. It's written with the kanji 邪武, which I have no idea how to translate. I know the first one reads as evil or wicked, but I'm not sure how it fits with the second one.

The second one apparently translates to the name "Takeshi" which means "Warrior."

So maybe "Evil Warrior." But that's not even trying really... No, there must be a deeper pun.

Roughly translated, it's actually.. 邪-Evil, 武- Warrior. I also noticed that it shares the same kanji with Gaim's, which was this: 鎧武/ガイム, which means Armored Warrior.

Some translator buddies of mine translated it as "Sha-Mu" or "Jaa-Mu"

It's literally the same kanji as "Gaim" with the first section removed and replaced with "evil". Hence "Jaimu" or Jam.

This guy said it better. It's basically evil Gaim, which would sound roughly like Jam/Jamu.

Even if there is some difficulty reading with the kanji, the katakana right above shows how it's read. Jya-Mu. Kamen Rider Jam.

- Fruit turns to jam when processed.
- Jaa Mu, which means Evil Warrior
- Jam, which fits with the initial dance battle theme
- And if it's Ryoma, he DID jam the communications system in Zawame using the Master Intelligence System
- Ryoma also jammed the phones of the international Yggdrasil members.
