AWESOME! Kinda bummed the White Ranger isn't there (him and the Yellow Ranger were the only movie ones I managed to get from McDonalds, back in the day) but hopefully you're right about him being released later. Otherwise, I think I'm up for all of 'em. I always wanted full-on figures of their movie armor.

Well, unless Bluefin manages to strike a deal with BoJ for Figuarts versions of these guys, they're all we're going to get really.

They aren't as bad as I thought they'd be...though who knows if these are to be the finalized looks for them.

Movie suit Power Ranger figures really. Never thought I'd see the day (not counting the McDonalds toys anyway)

They don't look that bad. I never imagined we'd ever get new MMPR movie figures. Ever. So, color me surprised.

A little sad that only Pink Ranger appears to come with her move-exclusive weapon though.

Well, only she and Blue really got new weapons. Red got that visor thing, and Yellow got... Headlights.

White and Black didn't get jack.

It is really funny how little in-suit fighting they did in the movie. Something I hope the new movie fixes.

Not to mention the actual morphed fight scene was kind of lackluster to begin with. The score for it is always what bugged me and made it have almost no energy or kick. It was just this weird jazzy type tune, it's almost comical. I was also always bummed that they never had an end morphed fight before the Megazord footage. I wonder if it was due to runtime or budget that they didn't have one.

Actually no. White Ranger still had Saba from the TV show.

I'd always assumed it had something to do with the film having to feature the faces of the actors for a significant portion of the film (due to contracts or whatever), which limited the amount of morphed footage it could have. Likewise why the Turbo movie is mostly unmorphed stuff.

Of course I'm probably WAY off the mark, but that's how I've always explained it to myself :lol

I honestly doubt they had any kind of significant detail of facetime in their contract. I just think it was to make a film as cheap as they possibly could. I mean, I don't mind the movie, I just think it's silly to not at least give one battle on the ground in the end game before resorting to the Megazord because it goes against the logic and format of the show completely. I really wish we could get our hands on the original script for the film to see what exactly changed from page to screen, if anything.

Don't doubt that. They never looked too sturdy to begin with. I really wonder how that suited fight would actually look on blu.

I did read that they were on the verge of tearing apart and couldn't handle stress like the TV suits.

Where is green ranger

There was no Green Ranger in the movie.

This is the movie. So no Green Ranger figure. :eyebrow

But I am sure White is somewhere down the line.

I know there was no green ranger in that movie, but I would love for BOA to be BOA and make a figure for a character that didn't exist.

Well, I do know there is fanart of how people think Green Ranger might look in a movie styled costume is you google it.

Sums up just about what my reaction was when I first found out about all this.

I need to find a new imagehost site so I can use my pic from slammi salmon of the guy screaming do I look like I give a fuck. no disrespect just feel like the right place for such a pic since I would also love a green ranger done in movie form even tho he wasn't in it.

That's great if that's what you want, no need to flip out over it. It simply isn't something that ever happened, so I'd rather see a White Ranger which did exist before some made up Green Ranger from the film. I'd probably buy a green as well in movie style. Just don't understand why people are confused as to there not being a green in these images when there shouldn't be one anyway.

Now, while it would be cool to see a figure of a movie-esque Green Ranger, I don't think it should be a make-or-break point. The Legacy Line has yet to deviate into toy exclusive merchandise, so I highly doubt we'll see one.

Also, considering that the timeline really wouldn't work for a Green Ranger, seeing as this is post-Jason/Zack/Trini, that would mean that including the Green Ranger would be counterproductive to canonicity, even if the movie takes place in an alternate or otherwise deviated timeline.

I wont die if they don't do a green but I will flip out if a white range isn't made/ or is made to be some sdcc exclusive that I have to sell my soul to obtain at a reasonable price. I may even threaten to write saban and Bandai a mean letter

but its tommy. and we know they'll pimp tommy like like a 2 dollar street walker to make than green. pretty sure theres a guy pimped out in a velour power ranger suit at Bandai that demands more tommy product.
