It does feel good rooting for Ryugen again after so, so much. It's a llllooonnnngggg shot but perhaps the others will regains their Sengoku Drivers too someday? |
Now THIS was a great episode!
Though it would be nice if the other riders got their belts again. And Jam? Would like for him to appear again but with someone else taking it over. |
Seeing that scene from early episodes where Hase and Jounouchi were the mad Nut Bros and Jounochi becoming Kurokage gave me them feels, does he know the truth finally?
Great thing Drive wasn't there to ruin the BFF moment of Kota and Micchy, the fight was awesome with Just Live More playing! And Kota is like Rosho and is OP now - top that Decade! Noticed some things too. - Gaim first appeared in the TV series having a cameo in Wizard coming in as an orange meteor thingy. Gaim then last appeared in the TV series in Gaim as some Golden Apple meteor thingy. - In his first TV appearance Gaim and Wizard rider kicked together, then in his last TV appearance he rider kicked with Micchy. Am I going too deep on this or is there something the writers have planned? |

Yay! Micchy's back! Yeah. I don't know. It's hard to like a heel turned good guy again, but I'll accept it. Would I watch a series just with him? Yes. Yes I would.
While we're at it, will someone PLEASE give Jonouchi his own Rider series? I think he actually overtook Oren as my favorite sub line character from the series. What was up with the Star Trek like musical overlay on the final scenes? Sheesh. It was nice to see that they gave very equal time to everyone that mattered. Overall, this was one of the best Kamen Rider shows to date that I've had the pleasure of watching. I think it sets a very high bar for other series to come for plot, story, characterizations, thematic elements, action. Granted, some of it was rips of other series themes, and the heavy pseudo-religious elements are overblown, but when put into the Kamen Rider universe, it worked very well. Bring on Kamen Rider Michelin. While I'm at it, I'll be binge watching this series again and again. |

Very nice eye..it sounds defo what Gaim Writers and I did think of the dual rider kick harkening to wizard but you got the best detail.. It sounds like Urobutchi was about to put Jounouchi as a more involved characters..which was downplayed disappointingly for some reason? (other writers?) Oren was well-repped so why could'nt the Acorn as well? |
is jam considered a female rider?

Plus Jam still existed (somehow) after being separated from her. And was still a dude. |
This was a beautiful way to finish off Gaim.
Mitsuzane's solo fight looked very Showa-esque to me and I can't explain why. It was awesome. The Gaim + Ryugen fight was all types of KICK ASS. Jonouchi fighting as Kurokage was a great touch too. I loved, loved, loved this series and to me, it's surpassed Ryuki. |

As for the episode, I enjoyed it for the most part. It wasn't as good as the last episode, but it wrapped things up nicely and I was glad to see Mitsuzane get at least some start at redemption. The final battle was particularly exciting, I really liked the Gaim and Ryugen team-up with Just Live More playing. Overall I thought it was a fun episode, and a great ending to a great series! |
So no drive crossover huh. Weird.

It is actually a better end.
Kougane is the reason Femshinm was at war. When the war has extended itself to Earth he is the one to be blamed. Kouta helping Mitsuzane to get back on his feet is cool. Together they finish off the source of trouble and start fresh is what makes it better. |
Subs are up at Aesir.
|
Well, well, well. This episode may not have been the Kamen Rider Ryugen series I've always wanted, but it was pretty great. It mostly tied up the loose ends I was wondering about without introducing anything completely new. I think it would have been cooler if Kouta didn't physically appear during the fight, but Micchy just heard his voice and had a ghost Kiwami Arms fighting alongside him. That would have still made the requirement for main character suit footage without making it seem like Kouta's always on speed dial for Earth.
I think my opinion episode-by-episode adds up to this having been a fantastic show. I really enjoyed it, and judging from all the toys I've amassed, maybe a bit too much. That said, I'm ready to say goodbye to Gaim and hello to Drive. |
The villian kind of sucked, but it was a nice and tearful way to cap off Gaim.
This episode was needed, more so for Miichy I feel but watching Junochi picking up Hase's mantle was cool too, even if that part was very short lived. Overall, it's been one juicy ride and it sucks to see Gaim go... |
I thought it was a good episode, but I felt like Episode 46 was a better ending in my opinion. Jam was pretty cool and at least the summer Gaim movie is canon now. I like a straight continuity and I never like how most Kamen Rider films never fit into the show or pretty much ignore (Wizard in Magic Land). I feel like Kamen Rider can be just as bad as DBZ when it comes to movies fitting itno the continuity in the show's timeline.

Now that the subs are out I still think the last ep was ok. But I would have liked to NOT have seen Kouta show up. It would have been cooler to have Kouta's voice and then him pass off Orange Arms or something like that. It was nice to see the closure with all the characters though. Especially Ginochi

I want a Jam Lockseed set and ACPB figure! Does anyone else?

I...
I really am really let down to be honest folks... Don't get me wrong, the overall show? Fantastic, and has graciously taken it's place on the number two spot of my top five. (OOO, Gaim, W, Kiva, Den-O) however, it could have easily been number one if not for one reason. Cheesy out of place movie, or other media tie-ins. They where out of place, and in my opinion seemed to be worse than any kind of filler episode, because not only is it a filler, but it is also a blatant advertisement for something else, causing you to lose focus on something that is supposed to be awesome just on it's own, and sell toys on it's own, not sell other people's useless junk! Had the TOQ, Kikaider, Soccer AU, and this last episode not been included? This could have easily been the best Kamen Rider show to date, however selling to things other than the main line? Really distracts from the overall story-telling and attempt to advertise what they are trying to sell in the first place. Other than that? I think we had an okay show here otherwise, it was engaging and not as brutal as it could have been. I think that really the only thing we needed a little bit more of? Four episodes dedicated to the ending (That we could have had...) as the end seemed pretty rushed as far as the final battle went, and everything was pretty resolved quickly ensuring that there (for the most part.) where no lose ends. Really these tie-in episodes where what did me in, and really is hurting how I feel in the end. The previous episode? Though not great, did enough justice to the overall series comparative to the back-hand that this episode was, as even as en epilouge all they had to do was not relate this to the movie, and everything would be semi-peachy keen. Though part of me kind of wishes that Kouta would have died, instead of just following the Madoka ending... bleh. |
That was a grape finale!!
Kamen Rider Jam was a crock of crap though. It is just some random spirit or something that possesses some girl and was a waste of a villain. He was pretty much just a Monster of the Week rather than a final villain. I'm surprised they did not end with at least all of the Lock Seeds being restored for the future movies. That was very pleasing to see and this is definitely one of the best Kamen Rider finales of all time despite my issues with Jam. Well done. Overall the series rocked and I give it a great big 8/10 stars. |
It's so nice having subs up so we can understand the story better, but geez Takatora. You don't just break EVERY single Sengoku Driver save for one.
Common sense is not a trait Melonhead has much of at times. |

The only thing I didn't like about the final episode is that I feel like Jam was totally wasted. I didn't see the summer Gaim film, so I have no idea on how he came back.
|
Even though Jam was kinda lame(in the fact that he didn't do much), I would die for an AC figure of him. They nailed it with the purplish-pink, white and black!

I liked it. The episode was pretty superfluous to the overall story, but it worked well as a small epilogue and a lot of the character moments still managed to carry some emotional weight.
I especially liked Kouta and Mai's last messages at the end before they left for good (until the Movie War). If I had any one wish for this episode it would have been to have Junouchi come back in during that final fight to help out, although I think that would've lessened the emotional impact of Kouta and Micchy fighting together as allies one last time. It would've been nice, though, if Junouchi getting the last belt and Lock Seed to fight on for Hase didn't just end in him getting curbstomped. |

This episode
http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/...66/409/b76.gif I'm going to miss Gaim. :cry But at least we have Drive coming next week. :) |

Anyway, this episode actually made me think of the final episode to Sailor Moon S. |
I really enjoyed this episode. Jonouchi was totally awesome, I really wish he would have killed the Grasshopper thing rather than Kouta so it would have made him turning into Kurokage mean something rather than just be defeated. I loved Zack, Oren, Jonouchi, and Takatora fought Kougane and monster without powers. I hope that maybe Takatora finds a way to give that back powers or that Kouta could give them more fruits from Helheim or something. I enjoyed rooting for Micchy again, that was a lot of fun it was great to see him be a hero again and defeating Jam with Gaim too. I did like Kaito's last scene too but I wonder if he can come back as a Spirit or something. I can't wait for the Gaim x Drive movie to see these guys again. It's definitely one of my higher favorites because of all the characters I love from this show, and Zack, Jonouchi, Oren, Micchy, and Takatora are some of my favorite characters.

Micchy is Ryugen and will always be Ryugen as of now. No need for a Orange Grap Arms of sorts. |
Good episode. Although I find it cheap and annoying that Kougane possessed the girl rather then coming back proper.
Plus, isn't he the artifical Golden Fruit, so he knew he was second dog to God-Mode Kouta anyways? |

Kouta Kazuraba have become Chuck Norris of Kamen Rider due of his status of Man of the Beginning
Great Show! Finally! No Ryuki-style ending! I give this show, 10/10! And as Angry Joe says "Badass Seal of Approval!" |
Just saw subs.
I think Mitsuzane has become a favorite of mine, however controversial that may be. Him becoming a hero has more emotional weight to me than most other Riders just because he's played every role one could play, from hero, to anti-hero, to anti-villain, to straight up villain and had to learn the hard way what it means to actually be a hero. He's honestly deserving of a series all by himself. Would love if he became the main Gaim representative in crossovers. |
