I haven't opened it yet, but looking at it in-package, it doesn't appear the chest on Gaim Kiwami is cracked. It does look like there's a crease on the fruit sticker underneat it from the sticker getting bunched up after being applied, but if that's all that's wrong with it, I can deal with that just fine. I'll open it tonight or tomorrow and see for myself when I have time to fuss with all the other new stuff that's arrived.

No offense, but why would you buy the more expensive version of Tankor when the American one is a massive shelf warmer?

So I broke down and bought the Super Megaforce morpher with the 20 keys at Toys R Us today.

It was on sale for today and tomorrow for $29.99 rather than the original price of $79.99. So..yeah, the cost of the regular release morpher with a bunch of free keys basically.

Because this one has more/different paint aps, so it looks better to me and is worth paying the price to import (which, with shipping averaged out, came out to a little over 2700 yen, and with the exchange rate what it is now...it's not a great deal different than paying for a Hasbro deluxe at retail).

I didn't give a shit about the status of the Hasbro version, so its shelfwarming status is irrelevant to me, let alone any price difference. That's not always the case (I picked up the Hasbro Roadbuster), but it was here and has been/will be in other instances.

It's your money, I was just curious what the difference between the 2 versions was.

You didn't exactly ask it that way, but as for the differences:

- Big difference is silver paint on the hips, lower legs, crotch, arms & face (as opposed to unpainted plastic on the Hasbro version)
- What's left unpainted on the arms, legs & chest piece is a bluish-gray plastic rather than that bluish plastic on the Hasbro version
- Vehicon logos on the shoulder pads, rather than the chest

Yeah I could have worded that better and used less hyperbole. Because I don't collect mainline Transformers anymore I didn't know if there was still a significant enough difference to warrant paying twice the price.

I needed a Titanus to finish up my MMPR season 1 zords and the condition and price were too good to pass up. At worst, all I need to do now is track down the sleds so Titanus can pull around the Megazord in tank mode. This also finishes up all of the main Megazords from MMPR. Now I just need to track down Ninjor. Machalcon finishes up the Gokaiger mecha, but damn is this guy BIG. I didn't expect it to be so large. The keys just get me a little closer to completing an American run in the BoJ keys. It's going slow, but it will get done.

Nice, apparently it's really good except for outward hip movement, but I don't exactly recall Gippy-D pulling the splits in the middle of Hong Kong.

I know what you mean, I thought I was done with Transformers but the new Masterpieces are too hard to pass up.

I don't grab them all, but they are starting to delve more into characters I really want. I sort of wish I'd pre-ordered Ultra Magnus, but my wallet is glad I didn't. If they crank out an Ironhide, I'll be in some trouble. :lol

Almost done with the Super Megaforce 5 inch line. Bought Red S.P.D., Red Turbo, Red Lost Galaxy, and Red Operation Overdrive today along with a Star Wars Black ROTJ Luke Skywalker.

God...imagining if they decided to do all FULL teams of Rangers in the SMF 5 inch line... That would have been insanely awesome and terrifying.

Congrats! Yeah, I need a MP Optimus Prime...I even considered that YotH version in TRU. But glad I waited until MP-10 came around. Seems a bigger improvement over MP-01.
