I don't know how I feel about the designs.. yet.

Looks to me like they have shurikens in their swords and on their belts. Gimmick is shurikens? Seems kind of Shinkenger esque to me.

I noticed that as well. It appears that the Shurikens may be similar to the Discs from Shinkenger in that regard.

All 5 visors are basically different shuriken designs. :)

I still have my salt but I remain optimistic.

Finally a 2 female team ninja Senta!! The suits don't look half bad. Better than Toqgers!!! Can't wait to see what the mocha look like!!

Typically it's brown and served in a mug. :D

Its hard to tell but the swords look like ones in kakuranger.

Oh wow....I really like these suit designs. And each of the face plates are designed after actual shuriken.

If these are based along color symbolism (IE: Red is fire because red traditionally is representative of blood and fire in Japan), then by using an out-dated Google reference site we can play "IT IS WAY TOO EARLY TO BE DOING THIS".

Red - Fire
Blue - Water
White - Wind/Light
Yellow - Ground/Earth
Pink - Life/Youth

That leaves us possibilities of:

Black - Death/Darkness/Evil
Gold - Royalty/Heavens
Green - Nature
Purple - Wisdom
Silver - Maturity/Modesty
Orange - Energy/Enthusiasm

The zord rumors also suggest animals tied to the Ninninjer powers. What creatures could be tied to those elements???

If the fox zord is true, it will probably be either red or blue.

Highly doubt it. The fox rumor was in the same batch of rumors that promised the team's colors were the same as Toqger's. Although a fox zord is still possible, it's less likely to be true.

Well no it would be Hurricanger 2 if anything.

I'm not too big on the visors yet, but that might have to do with them being the most out-there design since Shinkenger. The colors are nice, for sure, and the suits look good. Looks to me like the swords will be the henshin devices, since they all have the same one and nothing pops out on their belts.

I will laugh so hard if they instead end up with Yokai mechas.

I've been hoping for something wild like a Kappa for a while.

I know what three of those are and what half of one is.

What's Nue and what type of Cat is Bakeneko?

Am I the only one getting a real Ninja Captor vibe from them?

Honestly these are the first suits I've been absolutely in love with in awhile. Hopefully the show itself ends up being good.

I get more of a bird feel from pink's visor, so maybe Tengu would go to her?

i was hoping a bug and frog zord but yokai zords would be awesome would go up with magiranger and go-onger as having the coolest zords

what yokai do you think would be for a purple ranger because i want the sixth ranger to be purple

I unashamedly prefer vehicles to animals any day of the week. But those are literally non-options with Ninjas :lol So I'm hoping for crazy mythical japanese animals like those listed in this thread.

If that fox rumor is true, we might be seeing a kitsune of some kind.
