Easily my least favorite Drive form. I'm not a fan of the shade of green chosen and the way the tire changes deeply unsettles me, somehow even moreso than the more gruesome bisection done for Type Speed.
curse that glitch that was purposely engineered into this figure!
Man I love the color and gimick on this figure. If I collected this line I would be stoked for this. I just want to get him and do a stop motion animation with his robotic flow.

Such an odd place for a tire.

I like how the tire looks like a collar, plus his gimmick is unique. It's not often you see a Rider form that boosts skill instead of strength/speed/armor/whatever. I'll say it's quite neat. |
So is it Technic or Technique?
An abstract alt. form for a rider, but its debut made me think RoboRider. Plus Technic's first fight was pretty cool, too. I like it.
I've gotten used to this form.
While i like the color scheme better than wild, the center tire is just odd, and as stated fails to work with Vegas, which is my fave.
Yeah, I saw Baltmatrix's review this morning and was agreeing with how awesome he looks. It is a shame that not all of the tires work with him but on the flip side it adds some variety to the tire gimmic; this one works great for this figure, etc.

Glad to hear the shoulder articulation isn't really hindered, that was my main concern when the first images came out. I like Types Speed and Wild more, but this one certainly looks like a cool figure nonetheless.

The tire placement on Technic is just too weird for me to love
Just to say I really like this figure the tire being at below the neck is weird but the design is cool but the way the tire koukan is set up it is annoying but its still a good figure.
I feel like he's a meh of a toy. I like how the figure stands out around the effect piece.
Unless I missed something, despite the review saying it has a decent range of motion in the shoulders, I don't see any indication Technic can raise his hands above his head.
Looks like a nice figure, I like the design but I kind of want to wait for the Figuart on this one.
The gimmick is well done IMO, I don't think the lack of full Vegas is a problem, and Fire Braver is a really cool tire with the expandable arm. |
Something about this form really appeals to me, it's a shame about the vegas compatibility though
I lost it at the Mad doctor photo xD Nice gallery.
I think I feel the way KyoryuRed looks in that one pic... "What?"
The TK gimmick on this one is a bit of disconnect for me. I suspect if I get this one, I won't be swapping tires out too often. Other than that disconnect, sweet looking design and an interesting color scheme. |
I like this form and I might get the figure but it does seem like it would be awkward to switch the tires. Fire braver is a very cool tire too, so that's an advantage.
Every Rider series has that one form you wonder why the hell its a thing. This is the one for Drive.
You know, I think I've figured out what bothers me about this figure. It's the first symmetrical design out of Drive. Adding that to its overall boxiness due to the tire placement and it just looks dull compared to the rest. Also not too big on the colors for the basic Types. Hopefully Mach will offset all of the black going on with these undersuits.
The TK figures, much like AC, confuse me in terms of quality.
It's the articulation. If they were just better-painted, these would be competing with Figuarts for my attention. The molding detail tends to be really good, and I'm surprised that the articulation is so great. (In fact, looking at your "green Riders" shot, I wasn't 100% sure which line Kamen Rider Bravo was from.) Anyway, I love these galleries, and I confess I'm fascinated by how much the Tridoron seems to add to the value of these figures. |
Yeah this is probably that one Okay figure of the TK line
The more I see of Type Technic, the more I really like the design. He's what would happen if Robocop mated with a Caterpillar vehicle.

I really love the design, and the look of type technique as a whole.
But the design of the arms is very extreme, and it's a shame it doesn't fit all the available tires. The gallery is great as always. |
I supremely like the design of type Technic in the show, despite the toy having some issues, it will probably turn out to be my favorite, and thus least used, of Drives forms.
Eh, while I do understand that Bandai has to mix it up with this tire change gimmick like in Gaim, this is REALLY pushing it. It was already pushing with Type Wild, but this has gone a bit too far.

Only thing I don't like can't use all the tires with him
Kinda sucks that all the tires can't be used with this guy simply due to the design, but I like that the helmet doesn't look like a completely different rider's, like Type Wild's does.
Colour is very lime, but I like it.
The way it splits is the stuff of nightamres...
But it does look like a really cool toy, and very different to the other 2 forms. |
Still not a huge fan of the design compared to type drive, but I do like how its used in the show.
