Certainly compared to some of the others at the size, this figure doesn't look too shabby at all. Maybe it's the detailing of the textured arms, or the sash, that gives it that little bit extra. The usual BOA steroids don't seem quite so ridiculous either. Also, loving the fact that you can plug the morpher to his hip, just to add a little more playability

I hope the guys that played Dino Thunder Red & MMPR Red come back for Dino Charge.
Huh.. will the Dino Charge line continue to release past rangers?
Otherwise it'd be pretty odd that the packaging has a section exclusively to say what team he belongs to. |
Nice to see the 5 inch figures are improving
This is a solid looking figure and judging by the female figures shown elsewhere it looks to me like the sculptor might finally have gotten a cold shower.
Not bad not the best but its not bad either
The proportions are just a little weird and the weapons are a strange color, but this toy seems just about perfect for kids. I have a soft spot for 5" musclebound figures since I was super into Toy Biz's Marvel stuff as a kid (and I still like it now, too).
These (and older PR stuff, of course) are the perfect size for play and have decent articulation. I think BOA really excels at what it sets out to do with these. |
I really want the Dino charge team to go with my other figures, probably wait for the pack or whatever though.
These figures don't appeal to me, but this one looks really good for what it is. Definitely seems to be the best figure from the 5" line in a while.
Other than the bulky muscles i really like how the figure looks... But the muscles are just really distracting.
Looks good, but I thought it was supposed to come with its unique weapon too?
I might be mixing it up with the SH Figuarts version though... |
We can never have enough T Rex rangers!
God bless BoJ for the Kyoryuger Figuarts ...& may the Devil burns their collective testicles for picking up this atrocious body style for the upcoming NinNinger figures!!
Looks interesting I suppose, not too fond of the ultra buff look.

Those arms look out of place for some reason.
not a fan of the muscles and gaga boots. I hope they go back releasing figures like they did during Jungle fury original run.
I dig the packaging, and I liked how BoA at least didn't irnogre the darker sleeves of the suits.
WHy Do hIs sHoulDers HuRt?
Because those muscles. However, I do appreciate that they actually painted more than 10% of the figure. Even if to quote Groot "12 percent is better than 11." |
I am actually super impressed with these figures. Nice articulation, paint, accessories... though I have to wonder if BoA slimmed down the figures and used that excess plastic to make the individual weapons...
Go on a diet, stop using 'roids --- get an extra weapon! Huzzah! |
There's something about the back that is really bothering me, I think it's the fact it goes out then back in then out again, which looks excruciatingly painful. Also I like the color they used for the weapons it's close enough to the yellow of the gun and the green of the sword blade to work for both.
Let me guess: batteries not included? That might make this better
still a nice figure I liked kyoryuger so its a good figure to own
Still love my Kyoryugers but I'm glad to see the figures in the US.
The weapons, I'm not sure if its green or lime or yellow but those don't look safe to be handling even as a morphed ranger. XD For a toy it doesn't look too bad overall but man I really wish they would drop this super muscular look for Power Rangers toys in the US.
besides the muscles, this is a nice looking "affordable" figure.
If I hadn't been burned previously by BoA doing a scale change on their flagship figs, I'd be more excited. As it is, awesome looking toy at the price. Looks far better than I was expecting, especially the paint apps.
Great review, keep up the amazing galleries. I love this website
I like this figure, painting looks ok and for it's price it's molded fairly well.
