It really is a terrible shame. It all around seems like it was a case of self defense, but we can't be sure until we get more news on the matter.

You know he's gotta feel horrible about this, but at least he has the support of a fellow Ranger in Jason Faunt. (Unlike JDF, who seems to only care about the franchise in his response to the news)

He does seem like a really good man and a great friend to have at a time like this.

The same can't be said for other Rangers who have responded to the news, unfortunately.

Agreed with Bruno. Its sad, and we dont know what actually happened. Ive already edited one persons post who went off with nothing to do with this topic.

I just want to take a moment to remind everyone that while yes this is a touchy subject, and we're allowing conversation to take place regarding it, than any over the top pots inciting anger or arguments will be removed as they just have been.

I have no idea if Ricardo did this, or why he did if he did, and the truth is none of us do. That's why we have a legal system and why everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Honestly this story caught me by surprise. I was online checking Facebook during a Super Bowl commercial break and saw it on the side newsfeed. I couldn't believe it.

If he's not guilty I hope he's found out to be, if he's guilty I hope he's punished. We just don't know what happened yet.

I know it's off subject, but, damn, Austin looked rough. Almost as rough a David did at Thai's funeral. Goes to show how much this is weighing on all the cast, past and present. And how much it will weigh on the future casts as well.

It's a heavy subject and they were coworkers, so it's natural that it would hit him hard.

I'm just going to reiterate what Den-O has already said. That won't be tolerated here. And not because he was in Power Rangers and we're defending him because we're a forum based, largely, on that series. Because a man lost his life, another man is about to lose his freedom, and both their families now have enough to deal with without internet trolls making the whole thing a joke.
