Jiraiya spoke English in Kakuranger, so it's a possibility.

Jiraiya didn't just speak English, English is the actor's first language. I feel as if that was part of what made Jiraiya work. I hope Ninninger goes the same route of casting a non-native to Japan as this non-native character.

I also would be happy if they brought back Jiraiya's actor for the part (not the character, the actor).

I thought this was shuriken sentai ninninger not fast food sentai ameranger but in all seriousness (psh ya right i am never serious) I like the overall suit design and the cowboy mofit is great and the mecha is cool but... that burger charger... is just too much for me. now excuse me i am going to eat ten burgers with fifty sides of fries.

I did not know this as I've never seen Kakuranger.
I started watching tokusatsu back when Decade started airing.

The only english speaking toku character I've known of until now was Kamen Rider Psyga.

They actually did it. My chin is on the floor right now, yet somehow I'm grinning the biggest grin I have ever grinned. I'm markin' out bro! Our first cowboy ranger, and he is also a ninja!

While I'm not to thrilled about gold again, especially after a beautiful orange, I can't stay mad at a fellow American for too long. That's right...American. He is stereotyped all the way, but I don't care. I want everything guitar playing, burger eating, cowboy ninja related like yesterday. I love that he has a "shield" which is actually a poncho/bandana, because of course it is. I feel like a sixth hasn't had a shield in a long time. The red, blue, and black accents also help break up the gold.

The burger changer is weird, but still awesome. The shuriken becomes the cheese people! The cheese! It actually reminds me a lot of Shurikenger's changer because of the way it's held, and it's shape. It also has flames on it so this isn't even hard. It's a buy. The guitar sword gun is just more awesome, and stereotypical cowboy so it's a buy too.

I'm hoping we get a look at BisonKing in these scans as well, because that will just send me over the top. What I can make out is the tassels on its legs. How cool is that? I'm hoping it isn't sentient though. I mean the Bison can't be thrilled about StarNinger getting his power from some beef changer. I'm so happy right now.

NinNinja is stupid and nonsensical. There is no rhyme or reason why any of these designs were chosen and they clash horribly, almost like the show was designed using a dartboard covered in random words. Goofy, incoherent, absurd beyond belief...

And I can't wait for such a glorious show to begin! Go Ninja, Go Ninja GO!

Not going to lie, this knocks my interest in the show down at least three notches. This reeks of trying to recapture Shinkenger's popularity, even moreso than all the other stuff this show's been doing that is obviously inspired by Shinkenger. I may cut my trial period on it down from five episodes to one.

For me, I just feel like it's trying too hard to be goofy.
It didn't necessarily drop my interest, but unlike everyone else here, it didn't raise my interests, either. It's mostly head scratching, to be honest.

Everything else I've seen of the show has been relatively fine, whereas this reveal is just too silly.

Ok I thought this was a joke for a second but I remembered the foodriods from foruze and how I wanted a few so maybe this isnt so bad? My semi new opinion after it sank in is borderline insane and genious. The disc being the cheese is really the best thing I can say about it though. The awkward flame stickers on the sides screams burger king flame broiled whopper but atleast tries(?) to hide the ugly black joint necessary for the cell phone top bun flip over thingy only to nullify the effect with the white coffee mug handle on the opposite side. I would have to see more of this but really honest pass. That guitar though looks awesome reminding me of the green hibiki rider but totally murica-fying it. The only thing tieing them together is the flames because why not. I would so buy this if I could but I already have 2 guitar hero controllers gathering dust in the corner and my girlfriend is waiting for the moment im gone to donate them. First impressions on the burger 5 out of 10 whoppers and for the guitar 10 out of 10 bald eagles carrying an ACDC album
