I thought it was neat seeing a mini-stego in Koda's hand. |

Also why has no one edit Machine Chaser, and Chase together yet? |

Loved the episode! But man the pacing was INCREDIBLY fast, I would have liked there to be a bit of time and a scene with Riley finding out about the Dinosaur Museum, definitely was rushed. Other than that though, I enjoyed the episode and definitely finding it nice to return into the PR fray after being away from it for so long. Few notes:
- When Tyler was like "It's about to get wild!" I certainly heavily reminisced about Daigo doing his battle cry haha. - Shelby is one feisty chica! Lol. Maybe there's gonna be a feud between herself and Kendall? - MOAR Koda lines = WIN! - Sooo... a steel rod can become a supercharged weapon? Lol. - (Sigh...) Where are you Torin??? Keeper is great but I want a more imposing and majestic mentor figure. |
i can't watch it. even though i have nick on my cable plan there stupid website says my cable is provider is not on there list so i can not watch it on the there horribly broken player
and sense i work form 7pm to 3am i am a sleep when it airs on TV... RAGE!!!!!!!!!!! |
Really liked how they did not waste our time with introducing Riley and how it connected well with the end of the first ep. The morphing was well chorographed, and if Kyoryuger did not have the whole samba element going on I would have liked to see Kyoryuger use it for their henshin. Chase and Koda are much cooler and I like how they were very welcoming of the three new recruits instead of going Rexkwondo on them and say "bow to your sensei(or senpai I guess in this case)". Slowly adapting to Keeper. He is okay enough to have me stop the "KEE.PER.PHONE.HOME." jokes and feels like a cross between Prof. X and Splinter. And the ending with Sledge was nice. |
they say "It's Morphin' time" im happy =)

Nick.Com loaded the episode on their website. Thanks to Xros for letting me know.

I could do without the talking during the fight scenes but at least it's not as cringe worthy as the ones from Super Megaforce/Megaforce.
I'm sorry, but Keeper is just...creepy though I appreciate that he seems to be a more effective mentor than Gosei will ever be. |
Just caught the mid-quality pirated version after failing to find a torrent that was actually watchable. Continue to eat a bag of dicks, Viacom.
As for the episode itself, I really, really liked it. You can tell that there's someone involved now who actually has an understanding of how to make likable characters. These Rangers, especially Shelby, are easily the best group we've had since RPM and we're only two episodes in (granted, that's not a huge challenge, but it's still impressive for a modern Saban series). Getting Judd Lynn back is clearly paying off already. Can I also add that I love the morphing sequence? It's so wonderfully subdued after seeing how Kyoryuger did it, and the voice of the... whatever the guns are called is infinitely better than the screeching Japanese version. I really only have two complaints. The first is Saban's continued insistence that the Rangers cannot do anything while morphed without quipping. That is stupid, but it's not as annoying as Samurai yet. The other is that I'm really bummed Keeper is still around. After watching the first episode, I really liked the idea of a team of Rangers who had no idea how their powers worked and who'd have to figure it out on their own as they slowly form a team over the first few episodes. I shouldn't be surprised that we do have a base and a mentor as per usual, but I was briefly tantalized with another option and now I'm sad that the show isn't going that direction. (As a side note, am I the only one getting a Felicity Smoak vibe from Kendall? And how long will it be before Shelby gets fed up and smacks her?) |
ADR was stiff, the talking while fighting is so tiresome that it caused me to roll my eyes, but the rest of the episode was 100% solid.

This was a great episode! I loved Riley's brother and the farm. Plus, the guy faces a monster to save his dog? Hell yeah.
Also, the way the team interacts so far, also great. Another fantastic episode. |
I'll just leave this here.

I like the episode and I've jotted down my thoughts.
[U]Good/[U] -Good intro to the green ranger. -Neat way the green Energem was found. -Green ranger holding the sword (for the first time) like KyoryuGreen -Fight choreography and cinematography continue to be amaze-balls -Hey, common sense from the main characters. -Very Very cool command center -Rexie…heh. -Can’t tell the difference between DinoCharge & Kyoryuger footage most of the time -I LOVE THE MORPH [U]Bad/[U] -How did he hear the dog barking MILES away. -Metal conducts electricity. Therefore, ZAP. -Fury taken out by a tree branch -How were they not able to pull the dude from the car? -“Is that the museum?” Wasn’t he just there a few hours ago??? -Command center isn’t that deep underground based on the slide -Why were people running TOWARDS the Super Vivix? -Voice filter over the rangers while morphed. (a constant issue). -I don’t like the unnecessary words used in the morph. Too confusing. Which one is the catch phrase? -Keeper needs more facial animations. [U]Neutral/[U] -Dino Charge Rangers brought to you by apple products. -Why does music from iLife show up? Tow Seater Short. -What has Keeper and Sledge been doing FOR 65 MILLIONS YEARS?! |

Not a big Power Rangers fan since I almost always prefer the Sentai but since Kyoryuger was my favorite Sentai to date I gave the first two episodes of Dino Charge a try today....and I'm actually pretty impressed with the adaptation so far.
~Positives~ -Characters actually seem interesting so far, and the acting isn't half bad! -Keeping the missing father story line. -Sledge. I actually like him more than the Chaos as the introductory big bad. -The idea of using Sledge's collected bounties as the mosters of the week is a great idea, really loving it and being able to pick out monsters I remember from Kyoryuger. -Rexy. I was hoping they'd keep the bond Daigo and Gabutyra had in Kyoryuger and they're making that apparent early on. -Keeping the Black Ranger as the lady's man sharpshooter. -Obvious Violet Ranger is obvious :lol -Keeper not being as annoying as I thought he'd be.... ~Negatives~ -But Keeper is still no Torin. At least not yet. -Fury taken out by a branch? Yeeeeeeeah -That's a pretty silly entrance to your secret base. I mean what if some kids play in there and accidentally find your lab? -As mentioned by others. What have Sledge and Keeper been doing all this time? And lastly this is a nit pick but this bugged me a little bit. Why did they have the three new recruits be the red, pink and green rangers? It would've made a lot more sense if red, pink and blue were the new rangers while green and black, two weapon specialists, were pre-existing rangers before they showed up. Plus it would give the writers the perfect set up to explain why the Megazord only uses the T-rex, Triceratops and Stegosaurus zords to begin with. Red, Blue and Pink know each other more and their ener-gems are more in sync, so their zords can combine initially, and as the team connects over time the other ener-gems sync up and they can use the other zords. Again it's a nit pick but it's a distracting one for me at least. |
I nearly fell out of my chair when i was watching when he said "its gonna get wild".
Also that cover of the theme playing during the morph, THAT needs to stay. |
Does anyone have a download link so I can watch this? If I wait, I won't see it until October...

Other than a continuity error showing "Rexy" with a charger in his mouth, and then not tens seconds later showing him without it, I found nothing really wrong with this episode. I love the voice on the morpher, it sounds pretty cool. I personally would have loved all original fight footage. Nothing brings me out of the zone than BAM Japanese Kanji. I guess that's why I loved RPM so much. That was the last season a company actually gave a crap about this show. Oh well, the original and stock footage still blends well enough. I can't wait to see what else this show throws at us.
Also, can I be the first to say how awesome the cell blocks scenes are? Seeing all those monsters in one shot was so cool. And from a filmmaker point of view, I can only imagine the time it takes to get everyone in suit and in place and get their proper movements. I cannot wait to see what else this show has in store. Also, one last thing. I do hope that becomes his tag line, "it's about to get wild" I can't really remember Daigo's, something like "It's gonna get wild, so try and stop us"? Oh well, still, all I said stands and I have high hopes. So far RPM and Jungle Fury remain up top (which is funny I hated JF when I first saw it) but this may find it's way up there to. |

Loved it. Watched episode 1 and 2 with my mom and she actually found it bearable. Most of the time she hates Power Rangers for poor acting and such.
Also, I'm hoping that we find Power Ranger Aqua soon. And two episodes, no Megazord? Nice! Not so nice: Violet's a bit of a bitch. Oh well. I'm going to go PM Sentai fanfic idea. |

Just watched the first two episodes and so far it is very good. It definitely has the potential to be one of the top PR series if they keep this momentum up. My only complaint is that we did not get this type of quality writing and delivery in Samurai and Megaforce.
