Selfish superheroes are the best! Look at Darkwing Duck for instance, he's a megalomaniac who does the superhero thing for fame and fortune and get he's one of the greatest heroes ever!

I'd head over to the nearest police department & ask to be enrolled & trained to work with them. I've been looking everywhere for a trustworthy place to learn to fight & having powers like these will no doubt make them take me seriously, especially since I'm not running around going all vigilante-wanna-be-superhero. They could also aid me with scientific studies of my powers & the monsters that I'd fight, no way I could handle that on my own.

Meh I say strap on that belt and take me on the ride however it plays out although knowing me i'd piss of the government and be on the run for months until they realize im actually a good guy
