I'm guessing she didn't because of how she viewed things. Also she said "She'll burn out" or something like that. She knew that this was going to happen and eventually come to an end. So she ultimately thought this would help her get it out of her system. That's my opinion.

I look at Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire, like mothers to Steven. Their fight this episode and Stevens comment...It reminded me of what every child goes through when their parents fight and potentially break up. I went through that when I was 16 when my mom and godmother broke up.

I'd have loved to see her gauntlet too, but trying to stop Ruby would probably been a bit too much, something like summoning it in a flash of anger and then vanishing it might have fit more.

So I watched the second episode of this week's Stevenbomb and boy, did it have me in tears. A little at least.

That moment between Ruby and Sapphire was just so... adorable! Had me tearing up. :cry/:lol

And on today's episode, I think I am more terrified of Onion than ever before. :lolol

I watched something on YouTube earlier about Steven Universe. This guy said that most of the fusions are voiced by musicians. I know Sugilite was voiced by Nikki Minaj. So I've watched the Sardonyx clip a few times, and the episode, and I'm thinking the musician is Stefani Germanotta a.k.a. Lady Gaga.

While you're right on all of the fusions being voiced by musicians/singers, she's actually voiced by Alexia Khadime.

I've never heard of her. What songs has she done?

She's actually an actress for London's West End, having performed as Elphaba for their stage production of Wicked, Eponine in their production of Les Miserables, and Nala in their production of The Lion King. So while a singer, not like the others :lol

She played Elphaba?! Sweet!! This woman already has my respect.

About the latest episode ending with Peridot living in the bathroom (insert NCS joke here) I kind of got to wondering about something.

Are the Gems, both Crystal and Homeworld less honest than they first appeared as? The Crystal Gems seem like they're hiding something from Steven and it does seem like he's getting closer to lashing out.

Of course the HW Gems are getting shadier as well with the reveal that the mutant Gems we thought were the Cluster aren't said Cluster and it's actually some sort of doomsday device while Lapis may have thrown Steven under the bridge somewhat given that Peri knew about his healing powers despite her saying she told them nothing.

The plot's starting to reach some new heights in excitement and perhaps tears as well.

Yes. This series is starting to take some turns and I'm loving. And even though she's a villain, I'm loving Peridot.

I just watched the Jail Break episode. And I was wondering, what determines a Fusions size and shape? Is it the personalities or the powers of the fusees? Does anybody have an idea or theory?

@Green P. Ranger: Right now it's hard to say and with all the drama surrounding the show we may never find out what determines fusion size and shape. Though given how angry Malachite's components were when they fused may have played a factor into how monstrous it turned out to be.

So with the recent episodes is it safe to say that Rose was a Diamond or at least way up in the command chain? The control panel on the moon has 4 diamonds: Blue, Yellow, White and Pink. Blue and Yellow we know about, White not (but I would argue it’s the leader of all Gems since white is kinda your go-to cliché color with Diamonds) but Pink? Rose was always bigger than other Gems, even some fusions, and she was the leader type.

So maybe she rebelled against the other Diamonds. Maybe she kept it a secret who she was or the other Gems don’t want to tell Steven yet, because it would make Steven a Diamond too.

Steven also can heal other Gems, an ability inherited from his mother, and it’s a powerful one we haven’t seen with other Gems yet. Wouldn’t the healing of cracked Gems be something only a leader would be able to do? Steven can also turn on any machinery with his hand. Granted, Peridot could use the computer, but only after Steven activated it.

Also, I knew Peridot would become a Crystal Gem eventually, the ending to that episode was really awesome :lol
