I think popularity has little to do with it (though it helps). The teams that will most likely have 10 Years After movies (or something similar) are the teams who's actors want to return. Both the Hurricangers and Dekarangers casts really enjoy making toku. Actors from those teams pop up in toku all the time. Most if not all of them jump at the chance to return any time they can. Abaranger though? They got Red back for the dino crossover movie. The rest were no where to be found, not even as voiceovers (which the Zyurangers did in that same movie).

Abarekiller, Blue, and "Pink" showed up for Gokaiger. I think Black's actor did something else recently in tokusatsu, but I don't know much about Abaranger or its cast so don't quote me on that.

I believe that they would make 10 years after of Abaranger but it was scrapped becauset actress who play Yellow Ranger retired acting.

Blue was also in Kyoryu vs. Go-Busters and also had some appearences in other toku, such as the Kamen Rider Eternal movie, for example.
Yellow not being back is because she has completely retreated from show business.

Japanese fans tweet on that being their worst fear and also, the classic suit was used in Gokaiger- I think that it will just be good ol' furry Doggie again.

And I'd be very happy with that, because despite seeing PR SPD first, I always preferred the Japanese Doggie.

Considering how popular and beloved Dekaranger's Doggie is, there is no way in (the guard dog of ) hell that'll happen.

Especially considering that they clearly have the costume laying around from doing his appearance in Gokaiger.

Now that you mention it... yes. I never realized it, but I always felt SPD Doggie reminded me of something.

They were probably filming both Deka and Drive at Toei's studio. I think the Toqgers sometimes mentioned that the actors meet at the studio when they're filming both shows there.

I honestly hope they tackle older sentai i.e. Megaranger.
A Megaranger reunion would be AWESOME.
I heard Mega Black's actor quit show biz and all but considering how Gingared's actor came back once for Gokaiger despite his retirement, I hope Kouichiro's actor does revisit his fellow classmates.

I have no Sentai SHF's at all and overall little interest in them, but I would buy DekaMaster immediately if they ever release him.

Neo Deka Red is, for all you Kamen Rider Hibiki fans, is played by Tochihara Rakuto aka Asumu from Kamen Rider Hibiki.
Neo Deka Yellow's actress Hata Mizuho should be familiar to Boukenger fans particularly from episode 38.

I have the feeling the creators are paying tribute to Tochihara's role as Asumu from Hibiki while at the same time deliberately toying with our brains with a similar name. :lolol

Btw, Hata Mizuho who plays Neo Deka Yellow/Mugi was the cat girl in episode 38 of Boukenger. :)

She was also the food reporter in ep. 36 of Shinkenger and Namie Kawai, the Dainan orphanage supervisor in ep. 43-44 (the Christmas themed episodes) of Go-Busters
