Yellowguy on RangerCrew pointed out that IMDB lists Lica Nemolato for concept artist for the new PR 2017 movie. He started working for Legacy Effects who were the ones behind the zord concept art recently. Very possibly could be true.

Would certainly make sense, and he's not a bad choice. That said, just having Legacy Effects working on the concept art, regardless of who there is doing it, is awesome on it's own.

That's interesting. Last I remember, this movie had three producers, so is this in addition to them?

It's not uncommon to have a lot of producers for a film like this; there may be 5 or 6 now...? The question really is though how many are actively hands on producing, and how many are getting it just by name (like I'm assuming Haim Saban and Shuki Levy are to some extent because they created the series all together.)

Wow, with those character descriptions, they sure aren't kidding when they said they're aiming for a Breakfast Club dynamic. :lol I enjoyed that movie, but I never imagined applying it for Power Rangers. Still, it was a good dynamic, I'd love to see if they can pull it off here.

And the tone of the Sam Raimi movies, I think, is very appropriate. It's a bit campy, with enough drama and action to be a real fun superhero flick. I'd be more than pleased.

I really don't think that's what Power Rangers would tackle, to be honest. Haim Saban would refuse.

This is so depressing. Why couldn't they make the characters cooler and more fun instead of having to hide a secret. What about Tommy?
