Pretty sure that ominous Gosei-like voice shouting "[Zord] Engage!" Is supposed to invoke the same thing going on in Kyoryuger's giant robot transformations.

Then again, you probably feel that's different because of the energy Shigeru Chiba puts into everything he says.

No, I just created the thread asking about the possibility, and how I would be open to it as long as he isn't the Pink Ranger and my preference for him to be a Green or Black Ranger. I never had a specific desire for one.

I actually quite like that voice. :lol It's not something we've seen prior to the neo-Saban era, so I don't think it really detracts too much from the show.

More ranger deaths then having to be replaced. Like when kendrix died then was replaced by astronoma I thought it was a cool idea and I wish it'd happen more.

It has nothing to do with that. Like I said, I loved the OG megazord's voice. It had character. This voice is just a booming monotone annoyance. Much like Gosei.

Probably someone less sensitive about what voice comes out of an adapted Japanese live-action show robot. Which would really have no bearing on why they like it beyond the fact that they just do.

I want an American cast and a Japanese cast to meet.
Have the next Super Hero Taisen feature some kind wormhole so that the Go-Ongers can meet the RPM rangers, or have some kind of special Dino Charge episode where the Kyoryugers appear.

Never gonna happen? Duh. But I still want it to occur...

What would be done about the identical costumes, though? How would the audience differentiate between, say, the Kyouryuugers and the Dino Chargers? Unless they were to have an unmorphed encounter―

Glad to see so many people want an East Asian Red Ranger. I totally agree, and a Ninninger adaptation would be perfect.

As for a gay ranger, I really don't think it would be as earth-shattering as people are making it out to be. It's not anything to "tackle." Rangers who are interested in each other basically just give each other looks, get jealous, or save each other. Occasionally someone says something that explicitly expresses interest or they hold hands in the finale.

I don't really care either way, because PR relationships rarely add anything to the experience for me, but it wouldn't be that difficult to just have two male characters that were closer to each other than usual.

Anyway, actual wishlist:
- East Asian Red Ranger
- More color variations (would love an actual Orange Ranger)
- A family team (or at least some family members, like LR)
- Something with a bit more of a mystery-solving vibe, even if just here and there
