There's only one other team with straight-across black piping on the tops of the gloves/boots, and that is Carranger.

It can't be Carranger because it doesn't have white bands around the upper biceps. The white belt (am I crazy in seeing yellow in the belt too?) also has a black band around the top and bottom, which is something no team has ever had.

I'm thinking this pic pretty much has to be Juuouger.

I know we can't really judge much from this, but...

- I like how the suit is proportioned. The color blocking is really flattering on the actor's figure -- especially with how wide the belt is. I also like how the black bands make the outfit look really sharp and bold.

- White boots are here to stay, apparently! It's funny that up until ToQger, we'd gone 14 years without a team with standardized white boots. I was gonna criticize the design for going back to them, but three teams in a row isn't that bad, especially after such a prolonged break. I'm fine with it. Makes the team look "classic" in a 80s/90s way.

- I'm actually a little disappointed that this doesn't seem to have the two-tone red-with-white-piping shown in the rumored design image that was going around last week.

Overall, it looks very minimalist. The helmets and the design of the front of this will make or break the whole thing, as usual.

I like the Sun Vulcan theme to it. I guess it'll be like Liveman also with the two others joining the main 3 later on and I hope they're black and green. I love those two colors as a duo.

It is the Olympics after all next year.

I for one would still would like to see the classic Goranger palette used if they can. :)

I'm not convinced these spotted pictures aren't just the ToQGers. They do seem to have black bands around their cuffs, but what are the chances that the upcoming VS movie plot will involve them having turned/pretending to be evil? Putting a bit of black on them to represent that seems obvious and would be easy with those suits.

The versus movie apparently has a Dark Akaninger, so most likely.

Another possible color/animal lineup has surfaced:

Red- Bird (Male)

Blue- Shark (female)

Yellow- Lion (Male)

Green- Elephant (Male)

White- Tiger (Female)

At least red isn't the lion. Lets hope at least one of these rumors is true and red doesn't get lion!

New talk of Mecha circulating-

Some folks are saying that this series will feature a "core" robot with armor built around it, similar to DaiRenOh or Go-Buster Oh.

I'm unsure on how to feel about that, mainly because DaiRenOh sacrificed all 4 other mechs to accomplish that...

Not bad, though I do wish Blue and White were more original. I do like the idea of Red getting a bird instead of a far more obvious "king" animal.

Interesting. My thoughts will depend on what the mech ultimately looks like, of course.

Gaoranger is nice and all, but that lineup makes it almost imperative that blue and white form the arms, and that's just a been there, done that move.

Why is everyone okay with a red bird themed Ranger but take issue with lions? VulEagle, Red Falcon, Red Hawk, HurricaneRed, and Go-On Red.
We've had more bird of prey Red rangers than we've had red lions...Is it because the type of generic bird of prey changes name?

I'd prefer Red (something not yet done).

Personally, for me, it's because of the American adaptations/Power Rangers. It's just the "lion is king of animals" things, which makes it the obvious choice for red. Same with T-Rex as red in the Dino series'. Just waiting for the time when red is a different Dino.

I do hope the motifs are as diverse as possible.

Yeah, give the T-Rex to the Sixth again and give Red a raptor or something.

There's an actual animal called a red panda that's unrelated to normal pandas, though.

Red Ranger is probably going to be another lion, just like Ginga Red, and Gao Red.

Better than another bird of prey, like 5 others.
I would honestly much prefer a 3rd lion than a 6th Falcon-Eagle-Hawk (Different birds, but designers never accentuate their differences so they end up being the same damn thing anyway)
