im loving this show so far (one episode 10 now) if we get later seasones i hope they add in stuff like Voltrex or Rotron and dairug- i mean Vehicle Voltron

Personally I'd rather they just stick to one Voltron at a time.

I'm about 5 or so episodes into the new Voltron. So far I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.Some of the new character quirks are pretty good, except for Coran he's my one negative on the show so far. And there's one twist with one of the pilots I did not see coming. But they did explain it in a way that works, at least for me, so I'm willing to go with it. Previous sequel series, well probably more Voltron Force than the Third Dimension, hinted at some sort of mystic like bond between the pilots and the lions. I think they pull it off here better than in previous attempts.. Can't wait to see where the ride for the rest of the season goes from here.

So I take it you never watched avatar the last airbender of legend of Korra witch same studio who done VLD also animated them the fact VLD is an anime influence show works better cause original voltron was an anime edtiting dub adaption

I'd rather gauge out my eyes that watch those two shows.

Though I do have to say they did hire slightly better artists (or the artist simply got better) since the last commercial I saw for Korra or was it Airbender, which ever one was last/currently on.

Oh wow, you may need new eyes anyway if you think the art of avatar/Korra/voltron is bad. Also why are you even posting in this thread if you haven't watched it?

Anyway, my impression on the new voltron is that it's pretty damn good. I like how natural and flowing dialogue is, it really helps to make the characters relatable and just so damn endearing that if certain things come to pass I may get quite sad. Also I love the twist with one of the characters because a modern show really need it and had no excuse not to include that. My only downsides to the show was that the music was so goddamn generic when it came to the combination. I heard they got some of the original composers which was great but it really lacked a strong distinct theme, which any sort of super robot media REALLY NEEDS. Also this one is a bit of a half half thing because I hate the kind of flat cel cg they used here for voltron but I think the animation, the direction of the scenes as well as the 2d effects really saved that from becoming a major problem. Speaking of the animation again, the 2D scenes were all so well done, when other shows would use simplistic shots and motions, Voltron uses some great camera placement and very dynamic movements, their time on the avatar series really shone through here.

Just finished the season today and WOW!

Loved this show! Start to finish it contained all the elements that make for a classically good animated series, all the elements that people say make it the return of "Saturday Morning Cartoons".

Action, great animation, compelling characters, inventive creative changes to the mythos, wonderful redesigns. The show was great. And what a cliffhanger to end it on as well! I will say that the bigger surprises in the series were pretty telegraphed. Pidge was totally obvious within the 1st episode, but II really enjoyed that twist on a classic character. Zarkon was more unexpected but I'd figured it out a couple episodes before hand. It was still great.

I really just can't wait for another season of this show, it's everything I could have hoped for. Everything that Voltron Force wasn't. It's amazing to see a reboot of a series that was originally just an adaptation of another series, and it's just this good. What a winding crazy path through the decades to get here.

I thought that's who that was. A very nice touch.

Finished Voltron... and I want more. I mean like now, not later now. I am not that big of fans of reboots, but this was one done right. Outside of Coran, still not a fan of what they're doing with him. I'm liking how they rook aspects from the original Voltron and even Go Lion to make the show and add their own twists to them. I mran shiro alone i thought was going to be dead at this point but they made a story there that makes me want to see where it goes. And what they did with Pidge was was pretty genius. They didn't just come out and say it they hinted at it and left some clues before the reveal. And everybody on the team reacted perfectly. I even like what they did with Zarkon and his empire. Season 2 can't get her fast enough.

so for the first time since i watcch legendary defenders i decided to actually go back and watch original voltron im against torrenting if i can get dvd and have the money but voltron seem to be hard to find and gt on dvd now so find file that had not just voltron but also vehicle voltron as well.

A bit late to the party but I finally got around to watching this show.

I only had little exposure to Voltron growing up, and I haven't seen Avatar so I didn't know what to expect, but man this show is just perfection.

I'm three episodes in and I am loving the hell out of Legendary Defenders.

Episode 2 had me in stitches throughout.

The one thing I found bothersome is the fact that everyone knows how to speak perfect english. With Sven it makes sense giving that he spent a year on board an alien warship but I think I would've liked to have seen a bit of language barriers at least in the pilot.

Confirmed via SDCC, Season 2 will be arriving in "late 2016."

On one hand it would fit what happened in Go-Lion/Voltron. But given how much I've enjoyed what they did with him I hope it's some sort of bait and switch and they take his arc in a different direction.

This was apparently the only bit of Legendary Defender merchandise at NYCC.

It’s not bad looking, but I would prefer a toy which actually combines (I could deal with the visible kibble) and one that isn’t made by Playmates of all companies.

That's because it's just for any figure in the assortement. Sites do this a lot. The listing is for any of the four limb lions.
