Because you suddenly have 14-odd episodes with very little usable footage, a 5-piece team that barely use a 5-piece zord combination and 2 members that don't have a super mode or superpowers. It'll be really uneven.

Or. Remember: They used Dairanger's machines, yet, never once switched suits from Zyuranger untill MMPR Zeo. Same thing could happen here.

Zyuranger, Dairanger and Kakuranger all shared loosely the same coloured mecha though. Same goes with Goseiger and Gokaiger bar one. Go-Busters does not.

Here's a thought: With Go-Busters failing hard in Japan, what if they just skipped it all together? Went right into Power Ranger Dino-Locomotives!

So here is a REALLY crazy idea for Super Megaforce two teams running at once. Lets say Megaforce survives the legend war and that is when Gokaioh comes to earth after the war looking for stuff making theme a second alien ranger team. Also the 2nd alien rangers don't have a name yet so when they run in to the Megaforce out of cockiness they deiced to call theme self the Super Megaforce. You would then have Megaforce fighting the remnites of thous who defeated the rangers and Super coming it trying to figure out what it means to be a Ranger. Out of all these really good theories I'm probably the wrongest of the wrong but Id think it be entrusting to see and because of that saban wont do it :( oh well.

It's because of Saban's contract with Nickelodeon. Apparently they can only air 20 episodes a year per season, including specials. That's why Samurai/Super Samurai lasted for two years instead of one.

Didn't our last news post about Super Megaforce say that it'd be airing in the end half of 2013 instead of 2014?

For a transition from Mega to super mega, have evilish pirate rangers that lose there zords to the mega rangers or something to that nature, since the are keeping the Gosei suits while merging Gokaiger, they will some how get there zords some how

there was hint by fury diamond saying gokaiger fans will be happy too, so something tells me that gokai suits will be used somehow as power up or they will be a separate team, meaning that saban is going to use goseiger footage with goseisuits and the gokai suits with the gokaiger footage, meaning saban might using two different teams in one episode/season 2 at the same time.

i think megaforce and super megaforce will be equal screen time, i dont know how they will write both teams in but it can happen if that's the case, they took two episodes from the bullzord in shinkenger and written it into one, im sure they can write both teams in episode. especially it will sell more merchandise rather than the same stuff, they can sell both series of toys and get more money and more fun.

saban is not used gokaigers suits for s2 of pr super mega force

I think you're right about one thing. We may get Gokaiger figures, but I doubt we'll see them in the show. They can just change suits using the Tensouder and market the card game at the same time.

i have an idea-
appearantly Zordon hid a seperate set of morphers, zords, and suits for this type of occasion and when he developed the morohing grid, he had it where ALL PR morphers link up, even when the powers are destroyed, a copy is saved and if needed would reactivate in a desperate time of need, and if the powers are destroyed after that they are turned into a key or card- heres what happens with that:

a few of the veteran rangers went into space with gokai galloen to find the keys/cards(whatever they are gonna use) and create a new set of suits but when they get back to earth, give the key/cards to Megaforce rangers and tell them that if they ever need to learn how to use the powers, a member of that team will come to them!

If we're getting Gokai Silver I have to wonder if we'll see the rest in flashbacks. Silver being the "last in his crew" or something along those lines.

It's going to be our own series, where Gokai is an upgrade to Gosei. And you never know. We may still get the Gokai suits somehow. Never know until it happens one way or the other.

I don't hate Gokaiger, quite the opposite in fact given its my favourite Sentai series. But if Goseiger is going to be the anniversary series then I'd rather have Goseiger suits for the duration of Megaforce for the following reasons;

1) 20 episodes of one costume and then 20 of another is ridiculous. Just keep one.
2) The Goseiger suits match the colours of the original MMPR costumes, just like the Gokaiger ones matched the colours of the Goranger suits. They have much more in common with MMPR than the Gokai suits do, thus are far more fitting for a Power Rangers anniversary
3) I like the it means Saban can do something original with the source material. Straight copies are rarely a good thing in Power Rangers.

We don't know its going to look crappy, nor do we know for sure that the Gokai suits aren't going to be used in any shape or form.

I never thought of the color thing before. But you're right, they do match the originals more closely then Gokai. Be interesting though to see how they include Gokai Silver with the Gosei Suits. Could be he crashes in the Ryujin trying to escape from the incoming Warstar, and onward we go into Gokai and the War. Hmn.

Changing a zord set and changing a costume aren't the same thing.

Common sense says Hi.

Like Zeo said: Changing Zords is easier than changing Suits. Look at season 2 and 3 of MMPR. They changed Zords from Zyu, to Dai, to Kaku, but never once changed suits. So there is a precident for Saban doing this kind of thing.

20 episodes of one type of zord and then changing to a set that is pure fanwankish seems very off. especially a set that is so piratey...which makes me wonder if they do megamodes again for zors battles and use some variation of the gokaiger suits for it
