I'm watching the Nintendo Direct...so are they going to pull a Pokémon X and Y and have worldwide release in Summer and Winter? Or is that only Japan?

EDIT: I'm so glad that there aren't character exclusive to either version...and 60 frames per second...that's cool, but I'm not someone who gets all uppity over framerates.

EDIT 2: Yellow Devil? Cool! and it's explosion becomes an attack for whoever delivers the final blow? That's a pretty creative stage hazard! :D

EDIT 3: For Glory Mode? "FINAL DESTINATION NO ITEMS!!!" Yeah, I'm probably never going to play in that mode. Final Destination with no items is boring.

The wait for this game is gonna kill me. From Mega Man's AWESOME Final Smash, Zelda and Samus splitting from ZSS and Sheiak, Freaking Greninja!!!!, and the costumes.......

Waiting for this is going to suck, but I do want a great Smash Bros. game. Plus I'm sure I'll find things to do once Kirby Triple Deluxe and Shovel Knight drop.

I kind of want Professor Layton in this game.
Sure he's technically not a Nintendo character to my knowledge. But to most of the world he is. And since hi's series concluded recently it would be a great send off for the character.

I'm planning on getting the 3DS version.

Hm...I kind of wanted the Wii U version because it looks prettier. :lol and I was planning on buying a Wii U sometime next year anyway, but if most people here are getting the 3DS version. I'll get that instead.

I'm getting both versions, including getting a Wii U.

I'll be honest here: Ridley is too big to really be a playable character. I'm well aware that he can be scaled down; however this runs the risk of him looking undersized.

You were also mean about Mega Man when he found out about his Final Smash, so I'd say KH's reaction is a fair one.

Do you know how much I've heard the size argument? I'm well aware that Ridley's natural size is too large for the game.

Did you know Olimar is 1.9 cm?
C. Falcon is 6'1, but Ganondorf is allegedly 7 ft?
Samus is 6'3, but Greninja is 4'11
Charizard is only 5'7, yet Little Mac, also 5'7, is somehow shorter?

Yet all those characters stand roughly the same height, with Olimar and Mac just a touch shorter.

Smash Bros has already scaled characters up and down, yet the moment Ridley is mentioned:
"Oh, Ridley can't come in. He's too big. Now let's make Louie 4 feet taller and Rayquaza 10 feet shorter."

Just found out that Nintendo is ending production of Wii Classic Controllers and Classic Controllers Pro over at TFW2005.

That just leaves Wii Remote, WR+ Nunchuck, Wii U Pro and the gamepad. That's 4 choices at lest but it's a real burn for people that wanted to play SSB4 with those controllers.

Unless they're planning on making a new controller with a layout like the old Gamecube controller I can see a lot of upset gamers.

But he's merely a boss character...He deserves to get in. There needs to be more Metroid representation. I mean I like Greninja and Charizard as much as the next guy, but we've got Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Lucario, Charizard, and Greninja. That's 5 Pokémon.
