As for the topic at hand: Are you a Japanese speaker? I'm only asking because if you need subtitles or not will determine which series you can actively get the most out of. If you require subs, then Dynaman is only up to episode 19 in translation until MFC drops the next batch of episodes.

That said, torrenting isn't difficult. Just try looking up uTorrent and set it up. You never have to mess with the settings or anything. Go to Nyaa, or the directly to the subgroup's page, and download the torrent file and open it in uTorrent. Something will pop up with options like if you want certain files downloading faster than others, but you can ignore this and just click okay. The files will begin downloading and once the torrent finishes, voila. If you mostly use your phone though, you might want to stick with MP4s instead of MKVs, since MP4s are more likely to work on any kind of phone.

MKV. That is what I have Utorrent set to autodownload and that is all I watch anymore.

Do you have a way to access it on Google Drive? I can try zipping an episode and seeing if it will let you download it that way.

Just use the MEGA folder posted earlier or keep using what you've already got for other shows. Not being able to get this one show doesn't mean you can't still be part of the fandom.

KRDL is great, I've direct downloaded many full series on there. Need to act fast though cuz I believe the admin is shutting it down in October.

Here's an easy way:

Ask a friend who can download it and copy the files onto an external HDD or thumb drive.

Yes. TV-Nihon's translations are not very good. I only use them when there isn't another option.

Well once I know for sure I have spot-on translations for my extensive collection Ill ditch TV-Nihon

The only time I go to Nihon is if they are the best option available. For example, do I suffer the piss poor quality of Agito that MFC has put out or do I go with Nihon's superior video quality despite the average translations? In this case, I would rather go with Nihon. Oh, and they are the only ones to have Hibiki, Kiva, and Gekiranger fully subbed.

For their Dekaranger and Gekiranger subs they didn't even translate Japanese plurals (included the -tachi suffix). That's just bad localization. I only use them if there isn't another decent option.

was it Midnight Crew? They're usually [MC] or [M-C] when they identify themselves in torrents. I downloaded their Kuuga subs.

Yes, it was Midnight Crew. I believe I also have their Kuuga subs, which were also in horrid quality and they never bothered to sub the Grongi dialog.

They did sub the Grongi dialog, but way later! Midnight Crew subs - you can download Grongi scripts separately. I remembered seeing this when I first downloaded Kuuga's subs a month or two ago. But I agree - these subs aren't great in general. I couldn't find another complete option for Kuuga.

The Gurongi language is only subtitled when they speak Japanese, which is how it was done when Kuuga first aired on TV. Their language is actually a riddle which could be solved, although since Toei didn’t choose to subtitle it they couldn’t progress the story through it so most of what they have to say in their language is completely pointless.

Complete subtitles were done only for the DVD release as an option, so you don’t miss anything if it isn’t subbed; it's actually supposed to be this way.

Also, can someone tell me why this thread is still a thing?

To my knowledge, Cruel Angel Productions is the only group that has Agito fully subbed, but that batch seems hard to track down now.

Some were saying TV-Nihon wasn't accurate with their subs tho
And Millionfold is what got me started, by watching Wizard all the way through. Lol

I don't know what to tell you - you asked for a list of everything that was out and that's it. I like 99% of the people on this site can't speak Japanese so can only verify accuracy through hearsay. The whole thing with TV-Nihon isn't so much accuracy (although they HAVE made mistakes, no denying that), its that they just randomly leave bits of Japanese peppered into their subs.

Ultimately the only person who can decide whether which subs are the best for you is yourself.

To be honest with the subs Ive seen I've not seen so much Japanese peppered in, so Nihon seems to be okay.

The problem I've seen with TV-Nihon's subs though is that they leave Japanese prefixes in with no translator notes to help give context. Or if they do include a translator notes, they'll have it in one episode of something and never bother translating it again.

Overall, T-N ranges from bad to mediocre at best. Unless they're the only ones who worked on a particular show, there's pretty much no reason to watch their subs unless you really just don't give a hoot about quality. I think the one thing they have going for them is that they take the time to translate a bunch of extras and/or specials, but other than that... *shrug*
