How much did you pay for the set?

All told, just under $50.

Got MechaGodzilla this week. I have to say I'm impressed. It looks like the suit from the movie just walked out of the film(which I watched today). Surprisngly mobile compared the the suit in the movie, but I suppose that's the difference between a man in a suit and an action figure :lol.

I have to say the only downside is the aforementioned hollow torso feel. It feels off when you compare the solid lower body. Just feels odd when you're handling it. And I kinda wish it had a beam effect for the Plasma Grenade rather the the Mega Buster, but oh well.

Can't wait to have some GDAMM Kaiju throwdown between him and Godzilla.

Yeah.. I want it, but not $50 want it. Silly web exclusive. I'll be more tempted by MechaG's because of the combining Garuda.

Holy crap, someone skilled with Stop motion needs to get a hand on those.

They'd be a godsend for people who like to do that.

(Okay, I'm probably in that minority. ;_; )

Definately a neat set though and it has more accessories than I initially thought. If I'm ever able to find one for about $50 and am able to afford it at the time I'll hafta get it for sure.

I saw both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla at a local comic book store, but damn that's quite a pretty penny to spend on those two at once. They look SO good in person!

Looks like he's coming with a bunch of different accessories that can be used for MA Godzilla and Mechagodzilla! I'm loving the damaged MG head, and the spiral plasma breath for Godzilla!

I'm also glad Rodan is coming with a stand, so he can be displayed in a flying position.

Still chomping at the bit for my preorder of Space Godzilla to arrive. At least my Garuda effects kit came in, and I finally had a chance to mess around with it!

The kit comes in a silver foil box that has the Garuda logo on the front and the Mechagodzilla logo on the back.

The Garuda is listed as UX-01-92 which is a nice nod to the movie that introduced it. This follows the prologue in the movie the Garuda was developed first by the UNGCC to tackle Godzilla, before developing Mechagodzilla, which is listed as UX-02-93.

The set comes with the main vehicle, stand, maser cannon effects, shock anchors cables, and adapters for the combination mode.

Garuda as a stand alone vehicle is pretty nice on its own. Details are pretty accurate with clean paint apps, even down to the G-Force logos.

Some nice little features are the moveable rocket engines on the back of Garuda. Each rocket can be moved individually and rotate to certain angles depending on how you display it.

You can also remove the the tips of the maser cannons, and replace them with the added effects.

When upgrading to SuperMechagodzilla, this is where this set really starts to shine!

To upgrade, several pieces need to be removed from the underside.

The parts in the lower part of the picture are removed from Garuda, and the two smaller pieces above replace them. The modified pieces are molded differently to allow a better fit for the combination.

Beam Wars!

Overall, it's a neat set to compliment your SHMA Mechagodzilla, or if you just prefer your Garuda by itself, it still displays nicely on its own as another weapon to fend off your Godzilla.

I just saw MA Goji for the first time today at one of the local comic shops. Very impressive! I am going to have to save up some money for the Big Guy.

Great setup! Looking at it, I wish melted or battle damaged tanks were included with the set.

He's definitely worth it. Just be aware there were some eye allignment issues. So if there is more than one, be sure to look for which one has the least crooked eyes

I can I say what that is already been said about this line its awesome. Some minor hiccups, but still very cool and what I've seen from Fire Rodan to King Ghidorah this line is getting better. Somehow deep within my mind I'm tempted to buy MA Godzilla again because to see if I can get his eyes straight and secondly use the first one that I brought as something for my photocomic. Still that's going to be a huge maybe.

Well today Space Godzilla arrived and holy cow he's awesome, but when I open up the clam shell SG's left arm popped out or it was the way it was packaged..IDK. Still did anyone have this happen to them or is it just freak accident?

I've read that Space Godzilla has a vastly improved range of motion over the Godzilla release.

Well sadly I've decided to send Space Godzilla back to BBTS for an exchange figure because of what I've said earlier. Its no biggie, but damn stuff happens.

That's one of the brightsides to MonsterArts. With Bluefin doing distributing, it's easy to get your Kaiju exchanged if something has gone wrong.

That is true and you got to admire BBTS's customer service as well. But at least I'll get a new one. So still this "freak accident" won't deter me from my opinions about SH MonsterArts thats for sure.

I ordered from Anime Island. They said that their SG order was split into two shipments, and the second shipment just arrived.

After my last post, I got my shipping notice from them, so I should have it shortly. :D

I won't pass on MOGUERA because you can't have SpaceGodzilla and Godzilla without MOGUERA and that I like playing as MOGgie on Godzilla: Save the Earth. Despite close combat being limited, but long ranged weaponry is awesome.

Good news that next Monday I'll be getting my replacement SpaceGodzilla from BBTS so that hopefully nothing goes too terribly bad.

Man that takes me back. I loved playing Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. I even tried taking pictures of Godzilla and Mecha-G beating on each with moves from that game, but the figures aren't poseable enough for that :lol.
