Another small package dropped off yesterday. The Macross II LD box set. Slowly but surely I'm rebuilding my lost LD collection.

I finally received my Kamen Rider Perfect Goods and Evil Genealogy books from Akihabara Outlet Books. Took a little under a month - not bad for these guys. The Perfect Goods book is awesome if you're a belt and weapons geek; everything from Ichigo to Double is included in detail with wonderful, full color images. Also included is a guide to all of the belt/weapon toys released for each series. Evil Genealogy is a bit text heavy (good to practice reading with), B&W and focuses on the baddies from Ichigo to Agito. Seems to go pretty deep.
Really pleased! I'll update with photos when I get a moment! |

bought some rogue one merch during the premiere weekend

These arrived today (along with some JoJos manga I ordered for my g/f for Xmas (not pictured for obvious reasons)):
http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1xmhyz5d.jpg I was just looking through them and couldn't believe how outstanding the artwork is. Since I've been reading Spider-Man and Doctor Strange from that era I am used to there really being 6-9 panels on each page, not full blown giant ones that take up more than half a page, leaving room for only like 2 more panels. WOW!! |
Picked these guys up yesterday and I'm super excited. Pic of the kits once finished will be up sometime soon.

Parents got these while they were out:

Got myself an early Christmas present. You won’t believe how glad I am to finally own this movie, hunting down bootlegs or paying ridiculous prices for the old (but shitty) release were my only options so far.
And yes, they called Mechagodzilla "King Kong" in Germany. They really did. Same with Jet Jaguar, but that and the whole "Frankenstein"-deal with these movies are stories for another day. http://i.imgur.com/L8OHNnZ.jpg |

Some purchases made in the last couple of weeks:

How's your Revan? Mine's got some horrendous QC with a super loose waist. Hope it's just a lemon and not common though.

Who's in that other book? Romita and Heck? Heck really got a bad rap back in the day but, I think he's great. |

It's more of the Marvel stuff I'm not too familiar with. I spent half of this year reading X-Men from Claremont's run through Age of Apocalypse. I'm currently reading the Lee/Ditko era of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. I've got got the next volume of Spider-Man that Romita did with Lee and the Roger Stern era. As for these Cap books, the second book is with Colan and Romita. Most of my experience with Cap is from the 90s with stories like Streets of Poison and then the Serpent Society stuff. |

Somehow I didn't notice an HLJ box had been sitting in my house for the past several hours until just now.
https://i.gyazo.com/756de48a950f1072...be0c8d2ed1.jpg October Gashats! You know, I was really planning on collecting all of these, but those plans sort of fell apart early into November for a few different reasons. Hadn't thought much of it since, but having these in hand really makes me want to reconsider. Man they're nice toys. At the least, makes me want to get Bakusou Bike and MAX so I at least have the main Riders'. |
In a first for gsc they released something before the actual holiday and not months after

Turns out I have no self control because I had 5 packages come in and I still havent shipped my main amiami order. I normally love GSC shipping, but they don't let you combine sponsorships and had to pay 5k shipping for the two of them.

Went to Seoul with my family and got confused about which Tamashii Stage to get, so I grabbed one of each. Wish I bought another Combination though. Also saw some Legend Heroes action figures and Joint Gattai mecha that were being sold so inexpensively that I couldn't pass them up. The Wonderful 101 was from Amazon though but I figured it would be of interest here. Finally, the Gundam was free with purchase of the Jibanyan model kit I bought for my brother so I kept it for myself. Forgot to say that I bought my son a DX ToQ Oh for the equivalent of 22 USD and a Hee-Hack Gun for 12 USD. |
