So besides the color and the spoiler what is the difference between Zero Drive and Proto Drive?

The sure got a lot of mileage out of Drive's base design

This isn't really doing much for me. I think the black isn't broken up and balanced as nicely as it could be, which is always an issue with outfits that are predominantly dark. Things just look muddled, and it's so weird too because it's clearly trying to be broken up with the red and silver but the execution just isn't that great. There just isn't enough in the right areas and the eyes in particular are a weak point for me, they really should be a yellow or a red to help make the silver and black pop more. You look at something like Joker and it just works much better, probably because the sculpt was made with the color in mind. Sure, there is some great details here, but they're all on the back. From the front and sides it's too smooth, appearing more like vacuum sealed latex with little texture.

Compare that with the fact it's a repaint of a mould that's already been done much better and it just appears underwhelming.

Drive was the series I finally got to go whole hog with the belt and collectible gimmick. If I ever get into the Figuarts well, Drive will be the first series I grab.

Pretty neat design, possibly my second favorite with his normal red being my fave. I kinda miss this show at times.

Drive is my favorite rider! I don't think I could ever buy this Figuarts, though, I just don't like the color scheme, and it is so extraneous.

Honestly I'd rather have a figure for Type High-Speed. I think this one is alright.

Yeah, I didn't follow Drive so I didn't realize how many times they reused the suit. It's sort of cool to see though. They could almost be their own sentai team. Haha.

I always feel like this suit kind of dealt itself a bad hand from its inception, in that it's trying to do something which has already been done so much better. If proto-drive didn't exist as a fantastic rendition of drive-before-the-system-was-complete (and a much nicer looking black repaint imo, but protodrive is one of my personal favourite suits ever so I'm just a little biased) then maybe I'd look on it more favourably, but as it stands zero drive is perfectly decent but there's just not enough going on to excite me at all

It doesn't matter how many versions of that suit they make each one is absolutely beautiful. Even if this is basically Proto with a Red sash. Still. Beautiful.

Dark drive is seriously something Intense. Really looks good in red and black.

This isn't Dark Drive, just a different flavor of regular Drive. Dark Drive is this guy, and sadly has yet to get a figure. It's unfortunate, cause that is one good looking suit.

I love Drive's design and the tire gimmick, so this gets my approval.

Little bit less cool than regular old Drive or Protodrive, but it still looks sweet!

This is an easy pass, especially if you have Proto Drive already

I think I want this figuart badly.

It looks nice, but it's probably the figure I would least want from this line. Like it's just another repaint that doesn't even look that nice. Gord looks amazing with that gold and proto-drive looks like a better version of this. Plus it's concept is very strange as it's like proto-drive is a downstep to this. Plus those others are different characters, this is the same guy.The gallery is still great though and you make it look like a worthy figure to own

This was one of the better redecos in my opinion. Love the shots too.

Even though the design is a simple repaint I do like the look of red upon black. It really brings out the details.

Still, I preffer the original type speed design myself.

I don't have much vested in this form I still want Proto, but my shelves can live with out this particular one.

I really like this color scheme over the basic Drive suit. It screams so much more justice.

As cool as it looks, I feel this suit was really unnecessary. It not existing in the Drive canon doesn't help either...

Red and black is always a beuatiful color scheme so throwing that on the already pretty type speed makes for a handsome toy

Red and black is a great color combination--one of my favorites in fact--but I prefer my Rider suits (and figures) to be more or ate rather than pared down as it is here. Pared down is a relative term of course since this does have a wheel across its torso!

I was seriously confused for a second because I didn't remember seeing this suit anywhere. I haven't watched that movie though, guess that explains it.

Something about this figure is underwhelming to me. There's nothing really -bad- about it, I think I just prefer the way the standard suit looks better. However, this isn't about the suit itself, but the figure - if you like the suit, the figure looks to be a great addition.

I missed the continuity zeroing out announcement as well. As for the suit, I can never quite tell if I find the head spoilers on these cool or silly.

Hadn't see the movie yet, I tend to consider them non-canon for the most part anyway so that little announcement doesn't mean much to me.
as cool as this figure looks, I feel recolours of Drive are a bit overdone. and I prefer the regular type speed colour scheme

I like the Nods to Knight rider with the black and red accetents on the suit, could have been better but still not bad for what we got.

Man, I love the Drive suits! This is not the best, but hopefully I can get him someday.
