I am loving this line up. I have a really good feeling about this movie.

So the third CM reveals True Brave's identity to be...Hiiro. A fake one, it looks like, since he refers to Hiiro as the "real one." So...a game world clone, sort of thing?

I mean, it's...something.

I have a hard time gauging my own expectations of this movie. It feels like it has ten billion and a half different things going on at once, and more than anything I fear that it's just going to end up as a total mess. Which would be par for the course for the spring movies, but still...I doubt they're going to spend more than like 2 minutes or so on things like Kiriya reviving or even fake Hiiroboy over here. Meh, I guess.

Ok. So we know that True Brave's sword is a repaint of one used by one of the Ganma in Ghost. But...it also reminds me of the sword that Goldar used in MMPR/Zyuranger. Anyone else get that feeling of similarity?

Even if he were the real Kiriya he'd just die again by the end of the movie anyway. It's better like this since it doesn't make his ending so obvious.

I also saw Black Cross King in there. I guess he's the big bad for the Sentai side of things.

Don't really think this. The Black Cross King already appeared in SHT just as a background monster and he will most likely have the same role in here. Shocker leads both Sentai and Rider villain groups in this movie.

I thought those UFOs looked familiar. Wonder if that means the Genm specials are going to tie into this like Ghost's did with it's spring movie.

Also, lol at everything about True Brave. We all thought there was a cool backstory about him being the original, but nah, it's just Hiiro. I also find it funny that he calls himself "True Brave", but immediately refers to the other Hiiro as "the real one". What does he think true means? :p

I'm still annoyed they cut the scene where W and Accel were going to face the Black Cross King in SHT. It's a complete waste to have a scene fully recorded like that, but dump it just because back then they avoided using replacement VAs for the Heisei Riders (they only did attack cries and such, no words). They even credited the replacement VAs for W and Accel even though in the final cut of the movie they get no lines.

Dang, I didn't even realize that the colors match up with Emu's team.

Wouldn't Ex Aid be Momorider, because he is red and Momotaros be the red one.

It'd be pretty appropriate for Momotaros to be MomoRider, though. Should also be noted that in the fight between the Ex-Aid and Genm teams, Momotaros's counterpart was Momoranger, and the lineup appears to be the same and in the same order as Ex-Aid's team.

But it's a fair question. If they're lining up by colors alone yeah, Ex-Aid should be Momo and Momotaros Aka, but...I doubt it.

'course it's sort of a question whether they're Ex-Aid's team in the first place, but yeah.

It is as if an employee at Toei suddenly had a bulk impulse purchase of vinyl designer toys and said "EUREKA!" during a meeting.
There is a very designer toy element about the Goriders which Is why I like them so much.
If they ever merchandise these they should release them as sofubi vinyl toys only, it just seems more appropriate that way.

I didn't even think of them being Team Ex-Aid, I just assumed they were the GoRangers, but I like that better! The picture of them right above the GoRiders even has them in the same position, by color.

As for the question of Ex-Aid and Den-O switching colors, besides the momo- thing, maybe that's why the promos keep showing Ex-Aid in his robot form?

I'm still shocked about Alpha and Omega being included, now they're really going all in. I've been spending the last couple days catching up on Amazons and I'm still not over the fact that Toei's willing to roll it and S2 into their overall Tokuverse rather than initially keeping its continuity separate. Like it's more graphic than Shin ever was and S2 looks like it's going even farther with it. Toei being all "Yeah, totally, add them to the movie and the DS game" probably shows how less squishy the adolescent Japanese audience is than western ones.

Or Toei just being Toei and throw em in just for the sake of it. I doubt most kids who are going to watch this SHT knows the background of these amazon riders, with how they looks less zany and less gimmicky compared to the likeness of Ghost or Ex-Aid, they'll just think of them as one of the older riders.
